1Jadi' ompi' -ompi', ku'inca katerohoi-na nono-ni apa' mosidai' -mokoi hante Kristus. Tetanta'u-mi nono-ni apa' napoka'ahi' -mokoi. Hintuwu' -mokoi apa' ngkai petete' Inoha' Tomoroli'. Momepoka'ahi' -koi hadua bo hadua.
1If then [there be] any comfort in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of [the] Spirit, if any bowels and compassions,
2Bo lawi' oo mpu'u-koi, kuperapi' bona nipakagoe' mpu'u-ka nono-ku: tuwu' hintuwu' -koi hante ahi' -ni hibalia, nono-ni hibalia, patuju-ni hibalia.
2fulfil my joy, that ye may think the same thing, having the same love, joined in soul, thinking one thing;
3Neo' mpomobohe woto-ni moto-wadi, neo' mpope'une'. Agina-pi-hana hore-hore mpakadingki' nono, ta'uli' doo melabi ngkai kita'.
3[let] nothing [be] in the spirit of strife or vain glory, but, in lowliness of mind, each esteeming the other as more excellent than themselves;
4Neo' mpenonoi woto-ta moto, pekiri wo'o katuwu' doo.
4regarding not each his own [qualities], but each those of others also.
5Nono-ni kana hewa nono-na Kristus Yesus:
5For let this mind be in you which [was] also in Christ Jesus;
6Nau' tuwu' mpo'Alata'ala-i, uma-i mpentaei kahibalia-na hante Alata'ala.
6who, subsisting in the form of God, did not esteem it an object of rapine to be on an equality with God;
7Nabahaka omea-mi tetu, pai' -i tuwu' mpobatua. Mewali manusia' -i hante wotoloka' manusia'.
7but emptied himself, taking a bondman's form, taking his place in [the] likeness of men;
8Pai' ka'oti-nai jadi' manusia', mengkadingki' -imi, pai' -i mpotuku' hawa' Alata'ala, duu' -na mate raparika' hewa hadua tauna to dada'a.
8and having been found in figure as a man, humbled himself, becoming obedient even unto death, and [that the] death of [the] cross.
9Toe-mi pai' Alata'ala mpo'ongko' -i hi pohuraa to molangko lia, pai' nawai' -i kuasa to meliu ngkai hawe'ea kuasa to ntani' -na,
9Wherefore also God highly exalted him, and granted him a name, that which is above every name,
10bona hawe'ea to tuwu' mengkoru hi Yesus, lompe' ihi' suruga, lompe' ihi' dunia', lompe' to hi po'ohaa' tomate, hawe'ea-ra mpai' mowilingkudu menyompa hi Hi'a,
10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of heavenly and earthly and infernal [beings],
11pai' -ra mpangaku': Yesus Kristus, Hi'a-mi Pue', alaa-na Alata'ala to Tuama rapomobohe.
11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord to God [the] Father's glory.
12Toe-mi ompi' to kupe'ahi', ku'inca kampotuku' -ni hawa' -ku. Bula-ku ria dohe-ni, nituku' mpu'u hawa' -ku. Jadi', peliu-liu-nami tempo toi bula-ku molaa, kuperapi' bona nipelompehi mpu'u po'ingku-ni, hewa to masipato' hi tauna to nahore Alata'ala ngkai huku' jeko' -ra. Mengkoru-mokoi hi Alata'ala, pai' poka'eka' mpu'u-koi mpobabehi po'ingku to dada'a.
12So that, my beloved, even as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much rather in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,
13Apa' Alata'ala moto-mi to mobago hi rala nono-ni, pai' alaa-na dota-koi mpotuku' konoa-na, pai' nawai' wo'o-koi karohoa mpotuku' konoa-na.
13for it is God who works in you both the willing and the working according to [his] good pleasure.
14Napa-napa to nibabehi, neo' ngkunuti ba momehono',
14Do all things without murmurings and reasonings,
15bona monoa' hi hawe'ea tauna ka'ana' -na Alata'ala mpu'u-koi, to uma ria kasalaia' -ni, to tuwu' moroli' pai' uma ria patuju-ni to dada'a. Hewa betue' mehini hi rala kabengia-na, wae wo'o koi' hi laintongo' tauna to bengku' pai' dada'a nono-ra,
15that ye may be harmless and simple, irreproachable children of God in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation; among whom ye appear as lights in [the] world,
16apa' niparata-raka Kareba Lompe' to ngkeni katuwua'. Ane hewa toe po'ingku-ni ompi', bohe mpai' nono-ku hi karata-na nculii' Kristus. Apa' po'ingku-ni toe-mi to mpakanoto hawe'ea bago-ku uma wa bayangi', ria moto wua' -na.
16holding forth [the] word of life, so as to be a boast for me in Christ's day, that I have not run in vain nor laboured in vain.
17Ompi' -ompi', ngkai lomo' kakukarebai-nakoi Kareba Lompe', mepangala' -mokoi hi Pue' Yesus, pai' nitonu katuwu' -ni hi Hi'a bona mpobabehi konoa-na. Jadi', nau' rahuku' mate mpu'u-a mpai' sabana pobago-ku mpokarebai-koi Kareba Lompe' -e, uma kutapari. Bate mpo'uli' tarima kasi oa' -a hi Alata'ala, pai' goe' -a hangkaa-ngkania hante koi'.
17But if also I am poured out as a libation on the sacrifice and ministration of your faith, I rejoice, and rejoice in common with you all.
18Kusarumaka wo'o bona ompi' -ompi' motarima kasi pai' goe' hangkaa-ngkania hante aku'.
18In like manner do *ye* also rejoice, and rejoice with me.
19Ane napokono Pue' Yesus, ria patuju-ku mpohubui Timotius tilou mpencuai' -koi, bona ane nculii' -ipi tumai, tetanta'u-a mpo'epe kareba-ni.
19But I hope in [the] Lord Jesus to send Timotheus to you shortly, that *I* also may be refreshed, knowing how ye get on.
20Muntu' Timotius-kuwo to hi rehe'i to mpohibalia-ki nono-ku pai' to mpekiri kalompea' -ni ompi'.
20For I have no one like-minded who will care with genuine feeling how ye get on.
21Ane to ntani' -ntani' -naera, mpenonoi woto-ra moto-ra-wadi, uma-ra mpenonoi konoa-na Yesus Kristus.
21For all seek their own things, not the things of Jesus Christ.
22Aga ane Timotius, nihilo moto-mi-koiwo karoho peparasaya-na. Mobago-i dohe-ku mpopalele Kareba Lompe'. Kai' roduaa, hewa ntali ana' -wadi-kai.
22But ye know the proof of him, that, as a child a father, he has served with me in the work of the glad tidings.
23Jadi', ane ku'inca-damo mpai' kahudua kara-kara-ku, kuhubui-imi tilou mpencuai' -koi.
23Him therefore I hope to send immediately, as soon as I shall see how it goes with me:
24Pai' kusarumaka hante petulungi Pue', uma moto-a mahae tilou mpencuai' -koi.
24but I trust in [the] Lord that I myself also shall soon come;
25Sampale-di, ane ompi' -ta Epafroditus, to mahae-mi nihubui tumai mpongawa' -a, ku'uli' agina kuhubui lau-imi tilou nculii' hi koi'. Kai' rodua hewa tantara to hampanga'ea, apa' hampobagoa-kai hi rala pobago Pue', pai' natulungi-a hi rala kaparia-ku.
25but I have thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fellow-workman and fellow-soldier, but your messenger and minister to my need,
26Lentora lia-imi hi koi' omea ompi', pai' susa' nono-na, meka' ba lue' ni'epe-mi kapeda' -na wengi.
26since he had a longing desire after you all, and was distressed because ye had heard that he was sick;
27Peda' mpu'u-idi, neo' napomate-ki. Tapi' mo'uri' nculii' -imi apa' Alata'ala mpoka'ahi' -i-- aga uma muntu' hi'a, aku' wo'o napoka'ahi', apa' ane ke mate mpu'u-i wengi, ke katedoo-donihia-mi kasusaa' -ku.
27for he was also sick close to death, but God had mercy on him, and not indeed on him alone, but also on me, that I might not have sorrow upon sorrow.
28Toe pai' ku'uli' agina kupesahui mpohubui-i nculii' tilou, bona ane hirua' -pokoi, tetanta'u-mokoi, pai' aku' hi rehe'i monu-mi nono-ku.
28I have sent him therefore the more diligently, that seeing him ye might again rejoice, and that *I* might be the less sorrowful.
29Wae-pi, tarima-imi hi rala hanga' Pue' hante kagoe' nono-ni. Bila' wo'o hawe'ea tauna to mpohibalia-ki nono-na.
29Receive him therefore in [the] Lord with all joy, and hold such in honour;
30Ngkai pobago-na mpobago-ki Kristus, neo' mate lia-i. Uma-i mpenonoi woto-na moto, apa' doko' -i nipopale hi rehe'i mpotulungi-a.
30because for the sake of the work he drew near even to death, venturing his life that he might fill up what lacked in your ministration toward me.
