1 Corinthians

4

1Ane kai' pangkeni-ni, agina ni'uli' pahawaa' -wadi-ka-kaiwo, apa' kai' pahawaa' Kristus, to nasarumaka mpokeni kareba ngkai Alata'ala to ko'ia ra'incai ihi' dunia'.
1So let a man think of us as Christ’s servants, and stewards of God’s mysteries.
2To rapali' mpu'u hi tauna to rapahawa', kana tida-i mpotuku' hawa'.
2Here, moreover, it is required of stewards, that they be found faithful.
3Jadi', ane ria-koi to doko' mpotuntui' -a ba sala' pobago-ku, uma-a pari. Nau' ba hema to mposalai' pobago-ku, uma kutapari. Aku' moto, uma-kuwo ku'uli' moto-mi kalompe' ba ka'uma-na pobago-ku.
3But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man’s judgment. Yes, I don’t judge my own self.
4Moroli' mpontolumanu' nono-ku, ku'inca ka'uma-na ria sala' -ku. Aga bela toe to mponoai' -a. Pue' moto to mpobotuhi kamonoa' -ku ba ka'uma-na.
4For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord.
5Toe-mi ompi', neo' mpotuntui' doo ba lompe' pobago-na ba uma. Popea karata-na nculii' Pue'. Hi'a moto mpai' to mpowongka hawe'ea to tewuni hi rala kabengia-na, Hi'a to mpopehuwu hawe'ea patuju to hi rala nono manusia'. Nto'u toe-damo mpai', butu dua tauna mporata pe'une' ngkai Alata'ala hewa to kasipato' -na.
5Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.
6Ompi' -ompi', napa to ku'uli' -e we'i, mpobelahi woto-ku moto pai' Apolos. Kai' rodua kupotonco, bona mpotudui' -koi mpotuku' hawa' -hawa' to te'uki' pai' neo' mpobila' pangkeni-ni meliu ngkai katoto-na. Patuju-ku, bona neo' ria-koi to molangko nono-ni to mpo'uli': "Aku' mpotuku' ni'anu-a, iko mpotuku' ni'anu-wadi-ko-kona."
6Now these things, brothers, I have in a figure transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes, that in us you might learn not to think beyond the things which are written, that none of you be puffed up against one another.
7Ha ni'uli' -koina wae, melabi ntanii' -koi ngkai doo-ni? Ha ria nte hanyala to ria hi koi' to uma nitarima ngkai Alata'ala? Napa pai' molangko nono-nie? Ba ni'uli' -koina hawe'ea to ria hi koi', bela to nawai' -kokoi Alata'ala?
7For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn’t receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?
Ke lompe' lia-midi ompi' ane jadi' raja mpu'u-mokoie, bona moparenta wo'o-ka-kaiwo hangkaa-ngkania hante koi'.
8You are already filled. You have already become rich. You have come to reign without us. Yes, and I wish that you did reign, that we also might reign with you.
9Aga ko'ia-kai jadi' raja hi dunia'. Ntuku' pomporataa-ku, kai' suro Pue' Yesus, Alata'ala mpajadi' -kai tauna to mpe'ahii' lia ngkai hawe'ea manusia'. Kai' rapohewa tauna to rahuku' mate rarono ntodea. Rarono-kai ihi' dunia', lompe' manusia' lompe' mala'eka.
9For, I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last of all, like men sentenced to death. For we are made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and men.
10Kai' rapatiwojo tauna apa' mpopalele-kai Kareba Kristus, hiaa' koi' mpo'uli' monoto-mi-koina nono-ni! Kai', lente-kai, hiaa' koi' mpo'uli' moroho-mi-koina pepangala' -ni! Koi', rabila' -ko-koina ihi' dunia', hiaa' kai' raruge'!
10We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You have honor, but we have dishonor.
11Duu' rata tempo tohe'i, uma hono' pongkoni' -kai, uma hono' ponginu-kai, uma hono' pohea-kai. Ntora raweba' -kai. Uma monoa' katidaa-kai.
11Even to this present hour we hunger, thirst, are naked, are beaten, and have no certain dwelling place.
12Mobago ngkoro-kai hante pale-kai moto. Ane ria to mpotipo' -kai, kihiwili-raka rasi'. Ane ria to mpobalinai' -kai, kipengkatarii.
12We toil, working with our own hands. When people curse us, we bless. Being persecuted, we endure.
13Ane ria to mpolibui' -kai, kitompoi' -ra hante ka'olu-na. Kai' raponcawa momo hi dunia' toi, ranaa mpota'i-kai duu' rata tempo toi.
13Being defamed, we entreat. We are made as the filth of the world, the dirt wiped off by all, even until now.
14Ompi' -ompi'! Patuju-ku mpololitai-koi hewa toe-e, uma-kuwo bona mpo'eai' -koi. Lolita-ku toi, mpoparesai' -koi, kuponcawa ana' -ku to kupe'ahi' -koi.
14I don’t write these things to shame you, but to admonish you as my beloved children.
15Apa' nau' ba moncobu-mi guru-ni to mpotete' -koi hi petuku' -ni hi Kristus, muntu' aku' to nipotuama, apa' aku' -mi to lomo' -na mpokeni Kareba Lompe' hi koi', alaa-na mepangala' -mokoi hi Kristus Yesus.
15For though you have ten thousand tutors in Christ, yet not many fathers. For in Christ Jesus, I became your father through the Good News.
16Toe pai' kuperapi' mpu'u ompi' bona nituku' po'ingku-ku.
16I beg you therefore, be imitators of me.
17Jadi', tungkai' kuhubui-i Timotius tilou mpohirua' -kokoi. Timotius toei, kuponcawa ana' -ku moto-i to kupe'ahi', to tida hi rala pobago Pue'. Ane rata-i mpai', napopokiwoii-damo-koi beiwa po'ingku-ku hi petuku' -ku hi Kristus, hewa to kutudui' -raka hawe'ea to Kristen hi butu ngata kahilouaa-ku.
17Because of this I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways which are in Christ, even as I teach everywhere in every assembly.
18Ria-koi nte ba hangkuja dua to molangko nono-ni, ni'uli' uma-apa mpai' daho' tilou mpohirua' -kokoi.
18Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you.
19Ntaa' tilou moto-ada mpai', uma-pi mahae ane napokono Pue'. Hi rehe'e-damo mpai', pai' kuhilo napa to rababehi tauna to molangko nono-ra tetura ria. Kuhilo ba mokuasa mpu'u-ra, ba hi wiwi-ra-wadi.
19But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord is willing. And I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power.
20Apa' ane Alata'ala jadi' Magau' -ta, nabalii' kehi-ta hante baraka' -na. Neo' mpai' ta'uli': "Alata'ala Magau' -ta," hiaa' uma tabalii' kehi-ta.
20For the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
21Jadi', to'uma to nipokono: ane rata-a pai' ko'ia oa' nibalii' kehi-ni, ngkerepa' mpai' lolita-ku mpoparesai' -koi. Tapi' ane mobali' -mi kehi-ni, mo'olu pai' ma'ahi' -a mpai' hi koi'.
21What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?
