1Teofilus to rabila': Hi rala sura-ku to lomo' -na, oti-mi ku'uki' hawe'ea to nababehi pai' to napetudui' Yesus, ntepu'u ngkai lomo' pobago-na,
1The first book I wrote, Theophilus, concerned all that Jesus began both to do and to teach,
2until the day in which he was received up, after he had given commandment through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom he had chosen.
4Rala-na hangkani, bula-na morumpu dohe-ra, nawai' -ra hawa' toi. Na'uli' -raka: "Neo' ulu nipalahii ngata Yerusalem. Popea ulu hi rei duu' -na Tuama-ku mpowai' -koi to najanci-mi, to ku'uli' -mikokoi mperi'ulu.
3To these he also showed himself alive after he suffered, by many proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days, and speaking about God’s Kingdom.
5Apa' Yohanes meniu' hante ue. Tapi' ba hangkuja eo-damo, raniu' -koi hante Inoha' Tomoroli'."
4Being assembled together with them, he commanded them, “Don’t depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which you heard from me.
6Hangkani wo'o, nto'u suro-na morumpu hangkaa-ngkania hante Yesus, mepekune' -ra hi Yesus, ra'uli': "Pue', ba tempo toi-mi nubahaka-ta ngkai bali' -ta pai' -ko jadi' Magau' to Israel?"
5 For John indeed baptized in water, but you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”
7Na'uli' Yesus: "Tuama-ku moto to mponoa' ba nto'uma kadupa' -na hawe'ea patuju to napakatantu-mi hante kuasa-na. Uma mingki' ni'inca koi'.
6Therefore when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, are you now restoring the kingdom to Israel?”
8Sampale-di, mporata-koi mpai' baraka' ane hompo-ipi Inoha' Tomoroli' hi koi'. Nto'u toe mpai', koi' jadi' sabi' -ku hi Yerusalem, hi tana' Yudea pai' Samaria, duu' rata hi humalili' dunia'."
7He said to them, “It isn’t for you to know times or seasons which the Father has set within his own authority.
9Ka'oti-na mololita hewa toe, kate'oo-ongkoa' -imi hilou hi langi'. Mengoa' -ramo mpongoa' -i, duu' -na uma-ipi rahiloi apa' naleru limu' -imi.
8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.”
10Bula-ra mengoa' -pidi hi langi' mponaa pe'ongko' -na, ria ncorobaa rodua tomane moheai pohea to mengea' mokore hi ncori-ra.
9When he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight.
11Ra'uli' to rodua toera: "Ee to Galilea! Napa pai' ntora mengoa' -koi hi langi'? Yesus to nihilo te'ongko' hilou hi suruga toei lou, wae wo'o-i mpai' nculii' tumai ngkai suruga hewa to nihilo-e we'i."
10While they were looking steadfastly into the sky as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white clothing,
12Ngkai ree, nculii' -ramo suro-na ngkai Bulu' Zaitun hilou hi Yerusalem. Bulu' Zaitun toe, ba hakilo kalaa-na ngkai Yerusalem.
11who also said, “You men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who was received up from you into the sky will come back in the same way as you saw him going into the sky.”
13Karata-ra hi ngata, hilou-ramo hi tomi po'ohaa' -ra ngkahe' hilou hi kamar to hi lolo-na. Hanga' suro Pue' Yesus toera: Petrus, Yohanes, Yakobus pai' Andreas, Filipus pai' Tomas, Bartolomeus pai' Matius, Yakobus ana' Alfeus, Simon to Zelot, pai' Yudas ana' Yakobus.
12Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mountain called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s journey away.
14Hawe'ea-ra morumpu hangkaa-ngkania, pai' tida-ra mosampaya. Dohe-ra, ria wo'o ba hangkuja dua tobine, hante Maria tina-na Yesus pai' ompi' -ompi' -na Yesus.
13When they had come in, they went up into the upper room, where they were staying; that is Peter, John, James, Andrew, Philip, Thomas, Bartholomew, Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas the son of James.
15Rala-na ha'eo, ria ba ha'atu rompulu' -ra morumpu. Nto'u toe, mokore-imi Petrus hi laintongo' ompi' hampepangalaa' -na toera, pai' -i mololita, na'uli':
14All these with one accord continued steadfastly in prayer and supplication, along with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.
16"Ompi' -ompi', napa to te'uki' hi rala Buku Tomoroli' kana madupa'. Owi hante wiwi Magau' Daud, Inoha' Tomoroli' mpolowa ami' -mi Yudas, to mpakeni tauna to mpohoko' Yesus.
15In these days, Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples (and the number of names was about one hundred twenty), and said,
17Yudas toei, doo-ta moto-i, pai' napo'ana'guru moto-i Pue' Yesus, hibalia hante kita'."
16“Brothers, it was necessary that this Scripture should be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke before by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who was guide to those who took Jesus.
18(Yudas toei mpo'oli tana' hante doi to narata ngkai gau' -na to dada'a. Hi tana' to na'oli tohe'e, mate monawu' -i, mobenta ta'i tina-na, alaa-na ihi' rala-na malali omea.
17For he was numbered with us, and received his portion in this ministry.
19Hawe'ea pue' ngata Yerusalem mpo'inca omea to jadi' tohe'e. Toe pai' tana' tohe'e rahanga' hi rala basa-ra moto Hakal-Dama. Batua-na, Tana' Raa'.)
18Now this man obtained a field with the reward for his wickedness, and falling headlong, his body burst open, and all his intestines gushed out.
20Na'uli' wo'o-mi Petrus: "Hi rala Buku Rona' Daud, ria lolita to mpolowa Yudas. Hewa toi moni-na: `Pelele' moto-miki-hawo po'ohaa' -na wao'. Neo' ria ba haduaa to mpo'ohai'.' `Agina huraa-nae na'ala' kahadua-na.'"
19It became known to everyone who lived in Jerusalem that in their language that field was called ‘Akeldama,’ that is, ‘The field of blood.’
22Ngkai ree, napokaliliu Petrus lolita-na, na'uli': "Ompi' -ompi', toe pai' kana ria hadua ngkai olo' -ta tapelihi jadi' sabi' mpodohei-kai mposabii' katuwu' -na nculii' -mi Pue' Yesus. Tauna to tapelihi toe, kana hadua to biasa ami' -mi dohe-ta nto'u-na Pue' Yesus mako' hilou hiapa-apa hante kita', ntepu'u ngkai pobago-na Yohanes Topeniu' duu' rata hi kara'ongko' -nami Pue' -ta ngkai laintongo' -ta."
20For it is written in the book of Psalms, ‘Let his habitation be made desolate. Let no one dwell therein;’ and, ‘Let another take his office.’
23Ngkai ree, rodua tomane to ratudo'. Hanga' -na to hadua, Yusuf Barsabas, pai' to hadua Matias. (Yusuf toei, ria wo'o to mpohanga' -i Yustus.)
21“Of the men therefore who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,
25Oti toe, mosampaya-ramo, ra'uli': "Pue', nu'inca omea nono tauna. Yudas, monawu' -imi-hana ngkai bago-na jadi' suro-nu, pai' -i rahuku' ntuku' -ki gau' -na. Toe pai' kiperapi' Pue', tudo' -kakai hema ngkai hira' to rodua tohe'ira to nupelihi-mi jadi' sampei-na."
22beginning from the baptism of John, to the day that he was received up from us, of these one must become a witness with us of his resurrection.”
26Oti-ramo mosampaya, ratene' -mi undi hewa pompenoa' -ra. To natudo' pompenoa' -ra toe, Matias. Jadi', ra'ongko' mpu'u-imi jadi' suro Pue' Yesus, bona hono' hampulu' rodua-ra hewa to lomo' -na.
23They put forward two, Joseph called Barsabbas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.
24They prayed, and said, “You, Lord, who know the hearts of all men, show which one of these two you have chosen
25to take part in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas fell away, that he might go to his own place.”
26They drew lots for them, and the lot fell on Matthias, and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.
