1Hangkani, ria-ra to Parisi hante guru agama Yahudi ngkai Yerusalem mpohirua' -ki Yesus. Rakamaro-i, ra'uli':
1Then Pharisees and scribes came to Jesus from Jerusalem, saying,
2"Napa-di pai' ana'guru-nu mpotiboki ada totu'a-tae? Hangaa ngkoni' -ramo, uma-ra mowano ncala' ntuku' atura."
2“Why do your disciples disobey the tradition of the elders? For they don’t wash their hands when they eat bread.”
3Na'uli' Yesus: "Bangku' koi' -koiwoe', napa pai' nitiboki parenta Alata'ala hi kampotuku' -ni ada-ni moto!
3He answered them, “Why do you also disobey the commandment of God because of your tradition?
4Alata'ala mpo'uli': `Kana tabila' tuama pai' tina-ta.' Pai' na'uli' wo'o: `Hema to mpotipo' tuama ba tina-na kana rapatehi.'
4 For God commanded, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.’
6Hiaa' koi' metudui' hewa toi: uma-pi mingki' tabila' tina pai' tuama-ta, asala ta'uli' -raka hewa toi: `Napa to masipato' kuwai' -kokoi totu'a, mpolia' kutonu-mi hi Alata'ala.' Jadi', Lolita Alata'ala uma nisaile'. Ada-ni moto to nipomobohe.
5 But you say, ‘Whoever may tell his father or his mother, “Whatever help you might otherwise have gotten from me is a gift devoted to God,”
7Hi mali-na-wadi petuku' -ni hi Alata'ala tetu-e! Makono mpu'u lolita nabi Yesaya owi to mpolowa-koi, hewa toi moni-na:
6 he shall not honor his father or mother.’ You have made the commandment of God void because of your tradition.
8Na'uli' Alata'ala: `Tauna tohe'era mpobila' -a hi wiwi-ra-wadi, nono-ra molaa ngkai Aku'.
7 You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,
9Uma ria kalaua-ra mpopue' -a, apa' tudui' -ra tudui' manusia' -wadi, bela tudui' ngkai Aku'.'"
8 ‘These people draw near to me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
10Oti toe, Yesus mpokio' tauna to wori' mpomohui' -i, na'uli' -raka: "Epe-koi bona ni'inca:
9 And in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrine rules made by men.’”
11Pongkoni' to mesua' hi nganga-ta, bela-hawo toe to mpakada'a-ta hi poncilo Alata'ala. Lolita to mehupa' ngkai nganga-ta, toe-die to mpakada'a-ta hi poncilo Alata'ala-e."
10He summoned the multitude, and said to them, “Hear, and understand.
12Ngkai ree, tumai-ramo ana'guru-na mpo'uli' -ki: "Nu'inca wa kapeda' nono-ra to Parisi mpo'epe lolita-nue we'i?"
11 That which enters into the mouth doesn’t defile the man; but that which proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man.”
14Na'uli' Yesus: "Pelele' -ramo to Parisi toera lou! Apa' butu nyala hinu'a to uma nahu'a Tuama-ku to hi rala suruga, bate rawuka. To Parisi toe-rale hewa pangkeni to wero, apa' uma ra'incai ohea to makono hilou hi Alata'ala. Pai' ane towero mpotete' hingka towero-na, bate moluli' roduaa-ra mpai' hi rala kinali."
12Then the disciples came, and said to him, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended, when they heard this saying?”
15Na'uli' Petrus: "Guru, notohi-kakai lolita rapa' tetu-e we'i."
13But he answered, “Every plant which my heavenly Father didn’t plant will be uprooted.
16Na'uli' Yesus: "Ha uma oa' -di nipaha-e!
14 Leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind. If the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit.”
17Pongkoni' to mesua' hi rala nganga-tale kaliliu hi rala ta'i-ta, pai' ngkai ree kaliliu tatadi. Bela-hawo toe to mpakada'a-ta hi poncilo Alata'ala-e.
15Peter answered him, “Explain the parable to us.”
18Aga lolita to dada'a to mehuwu ngkai rala nono-ta pai' to howa' hi wiwi-ta, toe-mi to mpakada'a tauna hi poncilo Alata'ala.
16So Jesus said, “Do you also still not understand?
19Apa' ngkai rala nono pehupaa' pekiri to dada'a, pai' alaa-na ria to mepatehi, mobualo', mogau' sala' hi tobine ba tomane, manako, mosabi' boa' pai' metipo'.
17 Don’t you understand that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the belly, and then out of the body?
20Kehi to hewa toe-mi lau to mpakada'a tauna hi poncilo Alata'ala. Ane ngkoni' uma leba' mowano, bela-hawo toe to mpakada'a tauna hi poncilo Alata'ala."
18 But the things which proceed out of the mouth come out of the heart, and they defile the man.
21Ngkai ree hilou-imi Yesus hi tana' to mohu' ngata Tirus pai' Sidon.
19 For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies.
22Ria hadua tobine to Kanaan, bela-i to Yahudi. Tobine toei tumai hi Yesus ntora mekio', na'uli': "Pue', muli Magau' Daud! Poka'ahi' -a-kuwo! Ana' -ku tobine kahawia' seta, hangaa uma-ipi katonoa toe-e ria."
20 These are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashed hands doesn’t defile the man.”
23Uma-i winihi Yesus. Tumai ana'guru-na mpomohui' -i, ra'uli' -ki: "Guru, popalai-i tobine tetui, daa' kakakio' -kio' -i mpotuku' -ta."
21Jesus went out from there, and withdrew into the region of Tyre and Sidon.
24Na'uli' Yesus hi tobine toei: "Alata'ala mpohubui-a tumai mpotulungi muli to Israel-wadi, apa' hewa bima to puha-ramo, uma-rapa mpotuku' konoa Alata'ala."
22Behold, a Canaanite woman came out from those borders, and cried, saying, “Have mercy on me, Lord, you son of David! My daughter is severely demonized!”
25Ngkai ree, tumai lau-imi tobine toei motingkua' hi nyanyoa Yesus, mpo'uli' -ki: "Pue', tulungi-a-kuwo!"
23But he answered her not a word. His disciples came and begged him, saying, “Send her away; for she cries after us.”
26Na'uli' Yesus: "Uma lompe' mpo'ala' koni' ana' pai' rarora-ki dike'."
24But he answered, “I wasn’t sent to anyone but the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
27Na'uli' tobine toei: "Makono moto-di Pue', aga biasa moto-hawo dike' ngkoni' rupu' koni' to mohewu' ngkai lolo meja' hi tomi pue' -na."
25But she came and worshiped him, saying, “Lord, help me.”
28Ngkai ree, Yesus mpo'uli' -ki: "Bohe mpu'u pepangala' -nu, totina! Wae-pi, jadi' -mi hewa konoa-nu." Hinto'u toe, mo'uri' mpu'u-imi ana' -na.
26But he answered, “It is not appropriate to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”
29Oti toe, me'ongko' wo'o-imi Yesus ngkai ree, mako' mewiwi' rano Galilea. Manake' -i lou hi bulu' -na, pai' -i mohura metudui'.
27But she said, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”
30Mo'iko tauna mpotoa' -i, ngkeni to pungku, to keru, to wero, to uma howa' mololita pai' to peda' ntani' -na wo'o. Ratu'u-ra hi nyanyoa Yesus, pai' napaka'uri' -ra.
28Then Jesus answered her, “Woman, great is your faith! Be it done to you even as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that hour.
31Konce-ramo ntodea mpohilo hawe'ea tauna to napaka'uri' Yesus: tauna to uma howa' mololita, howa' -mi mololita, to keru mo'uri' -mi, to pungku momako' -mi, to wero pehilo-mi. Toe pai' mpobila' -ramo Alata'ala to rapue' to Israel.
29Jesus departed there, and came near to the sea of Galilee; and he went up into the mountain, and sat there.
32Oti toe Yesus mpokio' ana'guru-na, na'uli' -raka: "Tuna-kuna nono-ku mpohilo tauna to wori' toera lau. Tolu eo-ramo dohe-ku, uma ria pongkoni' -ra. Uma lau nono-ku mpohubui-ra nculii' ntali oro' -ra, molinga' -ra mpai' hi ohea."
30Great multitudes came to him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others, and they put them down at his feet. He healed them,
33Ra'uli' ana'guru-na: "Beiwa-mile, apa' wao' -di hi rehe'i-e lau. Tarata hiapa-mile pongkoni' tapokoni' -raka tauna to hewa toe lau kawori' -rae?"
31so that the multitude wondered when they saw the mute speaking, injured whole, lame walking, and blind seeing—and they glorified the God of Israel.
34Yesus mpekune' -ra: "Hangkuja roti to ria hi koi' -e?" Ratompoi' -i: "Pitu meha', pai' bau' uru to kedi' ba hangkuja ma'a-wadi."
32Jesus summoned his disciples and said, “I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days and have nothing to eat. I don’t want to send them away fasting, or they might faint on the way.”
35Ngkai ree nahubui-ramo tauna to wori' mohura hi tana'.
33The disciples said to him, “Where should we get so many loaves in a deserted place as to satisfy so great a multitude?”
36Na'ala' -mi roti to pitu pai' bau' kedi' to ba hangkuja ma'a toe, pai' -i mpo'uli' tarima kasi hi Alata'ala. Oti toe napihe-pihe-mi pai' nawai' -raka ana'guru-na bona rabagi-raka tauna to wori' toera.
34Jesus said to them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, “Seven, and a few small fish.”
37Ngkoni' -ramo omea duu' -ra bohu. Ka'oti-ra ngkoni', ana'guru-na mporumpu toro-na, pitu luncu-pi.
35He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground;
38Kawori' -ra to ngkoni' nto'u toe, opo' ncobu tomane, uma tebila' tobine pai' ana'.
36and he took the seven loaves and the fish. He gave thanks and broke them, and gave to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes.
39Oti toe, nahubui-ramo nculii' hilou hi tomi-ra, pai' -i mpohawi' sakaya hilou hi tana' Magadan.
37They all ate, and were filled. They took up seven baskets full of the broken pieces that were left over.
38Those who ate were four thousand men, besides women and children.
39Then he sent away the multitudes, got into the boat, and came into the borders of Magdala.
