10

1Ompi' -ompi' hampepangalaa' -ku! Konoa-ku mpu'u, bona to Israel tebahaka ngkai huku' jeko' -ra. Toe to kupekakae oa' -raka hi Alata'ala.
1Brothers, my heart’s desire and my prayer to God is for Israel, that they may be saved.
2Mantata' mpu'u pepue' -ra hi Alata'ala-- kusabii' moto toe-e. Aga uma ra'incai ohea to makono hilou hi Alata'ala.
2For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.
3Rapiri mata-ra hi ohea to napakasadia Alata'ala. Oja' -ra mengkoru hi Kristus bona jadi' monoa' -ra hi poncilo Alata'ala, ra'agi mpotuku' ohea-ra moto-rawo, doko' mpomonoa' woto-ra hi kampotuku' -ra Atura Pue'.
3For being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn’t subject themselves to the righteousness of God.
4Tapi' Kristus, Hi'a-mi kadupaa' -na Atura Pue'. Hawe'ea tauna to mepangala' hi Hi'a, jadi' monoa' hi poncilo Alata'ala.
4For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
5Ria lolita nabi Musa owi to mpo'uli': hema to doko' jadi' monoa' ngkai kampotuku' -ra Atura Pue', mporata-ra katuwua' to lompe' asala ratuku' omea Atura Pue' toe.
5For Moses writes about the righteousness of the law, “The one who does them will live by them.”
7Aga ria wo'o-pidi lolita Musa kahamela-na to mpo'uli' ma'ala-ta jadi' monoa' hi poncilo Alata'ala ngkai pepangala' -ta. Hewa toi moni-na: Neo' nu'uli' hi rala nono-nu: `Hema to mpakule' ngkahe' hilou hi suruga? Hema to bisa mana'u hilou hi po'ohaa' tomate?'"
6But the righteousness which is of faith says this, “Don’t say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down);
8Na'uli' wo'o Musa hewa toi: Kareba Pue' mohu' -wadi, ria hi wiwi-ta pai' ria hi nono-ta."
7or, ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.)”
9Ane tapangaku' hante wiwi-ta: "Yesus Hi'a-mi Pue'," pai' ane tapangala' hi rala nono-ta Alata'ala mpotuwu' -i nculii' ngkai kamatea, bate tehore-tamo ngkai huku' jeko' -ta.
8But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart”; that is, the word of faith, which we preach:
10Apa' mepangala' -ta hi Yesus hante nono-ta, alaa-na Alata'ala mpo'uli' kamonoa' -ta hi poncilo-na. Pai' tapangaku' Yesus hante wiwi-ta, alaa-na tehore-tamo ngkai huku' jeko' -ta.
9that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
11Hi rala Buku Tomoroli' ria te'uki' hewa toi: "Hawe'ea tauna to mepangala' hi Hi'a, uma-ra mpai' hala'nawu'."
10For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
12Lolita toe bate mpobelahi hawe'ea tauna, apa' uma ria posisalaa-na to Yahudi ba tau ntani' -na. Hadua lau-wadi Pue' hi hawe'ea manusia', pai' bohe ahi' -na hi hawe'ea tauna to mekakae hi Hi'a.
11For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.”
13Apa' "Hawe'ea tauna to mekakae hi Pue', bate tehore-ra ngkai huku' jeko' -ra."
12For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him.
14Hiaa' beiwa-ramo-rana mekakae hi Pue' ane ko'ia-ra mepangala'? Pai' uma wo'o hema to mepangala' ane ko'ia ra'epei Kareba Lompe'. Pai' uma wo'o-ra bisa mpo'epe Kareba Lompe' ane uma hema to mpokarebai-raka.
13For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
15Pai' hema mpai' to mpokarebai-raka ane uma hema to rasuro? Hewa to te'uki' owi hi rala Buku Tomoroli': "Lompe' lia karata tauna to mpokeni kareba lompe'!"
14How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?
16Aga uma hawe'ea tauna mpopangala' Kareba Lompe' to raparata-raka toe. Ria lolita nabi Yesaya owi to mpo'uli': "Pue', uma hema to mpangala' kareba to kikeni."
15And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Good News of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!”
17Jadi', manusia' kana mpo'epe ulu kareba-na, pai' lako' ma'ala-ra mepangala'. Pai' ane ria to mpoparata-raka Kareba Kristus toe, pai' lako' ma'ala-ra mpo'epe.
16But they didn’t all listen to the glad news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?”
18Aga neo' ta'uli' hewa toi: "To Israel, ko'ia-ra mpo'epei Kareba Lompe'." Ra'epe moto-midi! Hi rala Buku Tomoroli' te'uki' hewa toi: Kareba toe molele-mi hi humalili' dunia'. Lolita toe raparata-mi hi hawe'ea manusia'."
17So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
19Neo' wo'o ta'uli' hewa toi: "To Israel uma-hawo mpopaha patuju Alata'ala mpowai' kalompea' hi manusia'." Rapaha moto-midi! Lomo' -lomo' -na, ria Lolita Alata'ala to naparata nabi Musa, hewa toi moni-na: Koi' to Yahudi, kubabehi-koi mohingi' mpai' kampohilo-ni ahi' -ku hi tauna to bela-ra to Yahudi. Nipokedi' nono mpai' mpohilo pompewili' -ku hi tauna to uma mpo'incai-a ngkai owi."
18But I say, didn’t they hear? Yes, most certainly, “Their sound went out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”
20Oti toe, ria wo'o Lolita Alata'ala to lonto' lia to naparata nabi Yesaya. Na'uli' Alata'ala hewa toi: Tauna to uma mpopali' -a, hira' lau-mi to mporua' -a. Pai' tauna to uma mpekune' kahema-ku, kupopo'incai lau-ramo kahema-ku."
19But I ask, didn’t Israel know? First Moses says, “I will provoke you to jealousy with that which is no nation, with a nation void of understanding I will make you angry.”
21Hiaa' ane to Israel-hana, Alata'ala mpo'uli' hewa toi: "Ha'eoa kutonu pale-ku doko' mpodoa-ra, tapi' bate mesapuaka-ra pai' motu'a oa' nono-ra."
20Isaiah is very bold, and says, “I was found by those who didn’t seek me. I was revealed to those who didn’t ask for me.”
21But as to Israel he says, “All day long I stretched out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.”
