¹Tôi yêu mến Ðức Giê-hô-va, vì Ngài nghe tiếng tôi, Và lời nài xin của tôi.

¹I have loved, because Jehovah heareth My voice, my supplication,

²Tôi sẽ cầu khẩn Ngài trọn đời tôi, Bởi vì Ngài có nghiêng tai qua tôi.

²Because He hath inclined His ear to me, And during my days I call.

³Dây sự chết vương vấn tôi, Sự đau đớn âm phủ áp hãm tôi, Tôi gặp sự gian truân và sự sầu khổ.

³Compassed me have cords of death, And straits of Sheol have found me, Distress and sorrow I find.

⁴Nhưng tôi kêu cầu danh Ðức Giê-hô-va, rằng: Ðức Giê-hô-va ôi! cầu xin Ngài giải cứu linh hồn tôi.

⁴And in the name of Jehovah I call: I pray Thee, O Jehovah, deliver my soul,

⁵Ðức Giê-hô-va hay làm ơn, và là công bình; Ðức Chúa Trời chúng ta có lòng thương xót.

⁵Gracious [is] Jehovah, and righteous, Yea, our God [is] merciful,

⁶Ðức Giê-hô-va bảo hộ người thật thà; Tôi bị khốn khổ, Ngài bèn cứu tôi.

⁶A preserver of the simple [is] Jehovah, I was low, and to me He giveth salvation.

⁷Hỡi linh hồn ta, hãy trở về nơi an nghỉ ngươi; Vì Ðức Giê-hô-va đã hậu đãi ngươi.

⁷Turn back, O my soul, to thy rest, For Jehovah hath conferred benefits on thee.

⁸Chúa đã giải cứu linh hồn tôi khỏi chết, Mắt tôi khỏi giọt lệ, Và chơn tôi khỏi vấp ngã.

⁸For Thou hast delivered my soul from death, My eyes from tears, my feet from overthrowing.

⁹Tôi sẽ đi trước mặt Ðức Giê-hô-va Trong đất kẻ sống.

⁹I walk habitually before Jehovah In the lands of the living.

¹⁰Tôi tin, nên tôi nói. Tôi đã bị buồn thảm lắm.

¹⁰I have believed, for I speak, I — I have been afflicted greatly.

¹¹Trong cơn bối rối tôi nói rằng: Mọi người đều nói dối.

¹¹I said in my haste, `Every man [is] a liar.`

¹²Tôi sẽ lấy gì báo đáp Ðức Giê-hô-va Về các ơn lành mà Ngài đã làm cho tôi?

¹²What do I return to Jehovah? All His benefits [are] upon me.

¹³Tôi sẽ cầm cái chén cứu rỗi, Mà cầu khẩn danh Ðức Giê-hô-va

¹³The cup of salvation I lift up, And in the name of Jehovah I call.

¹⁴Tôi sẽ trả xong cho Ðức Giê-hô-va các sự tôi hứa nguyện, Tại trước mặt cả dân sự Ngài.

¹⁴My vows to Jehovah let me complete, I pray you, before all His people.

¹⁵Sự chết của các người thánh. Là quí báu trước mặt Ðức Giê-hô-va.

¹⁵Precious in the eyes of Jehovah [is] the death for His saints.

¹⁶Hỡi Ðức Giê-hô-va, tôi thật là tôi tớ Ngài; Tôi là tôi tớ Ngài, con trai con đòi của Ngài; Ngài đã mở lòi tói tôi.

¹⁶Cause [it] to come, O Jehovah, for I [am] Thy servant. I [am] Thy servant, son of Thy handmaid, Thou hast opened my bonds.

¹⁷Tôi sẽ dâng của lễ thù ân cho Chúa, Và cầu khẩn danh Ðức Giê-hô-va.

¹⁷To Thee I sacrifice a sacrifice of thanks, And in the name of Jehovah I call.

¹⁸Tôi sẽ trả xong cho Ðức Giê-hô-va các sự tôi hứa nguyện, Tại trước mặt cả dân sự Ngài,

¹⁸My vows to Jehovah let me complete, I pray you, before all His people,

¹⁹Trong hành lang của nhà Ðức Giê-hô-va, Ở giữa Giê-ru-sa-lem. Ha-lê-lu-gia!

¹⁹In the courts of the house of Jehovah, In thy midst, O Jerusalem, praise ye Jah!
