1Ðức Chúa Trời ôi! xin hãy lấy danh Chúa mà cứu tôi, Dùng quyền năng Chúa mà xét tôi công bình.
1To the Overseer with stringed instruments. — An instruction, by David, in the coming in of the Ziphim, and they say to Saul, `Is not David hiding himself with us?` O God, by Thy name save me, and by Thy might judge me.
2Hỡi Ðức Chúa Trời, xin hãy nghe lời cầu nguyện tôi, Lắng tai nghe các lời của miệng tôi,
2O God, hear my prayer, Give ear to the sayings of my mouth,
3Vì người lạ dấy nghịch cùng tôi, Người hung bạo tìm hại mạng sống tôi: Chúng nó không để Ðức Chúa Trời đứng trước mặt mình.
3For strangers have risen up against me And terrible ones have sought my soul, They have not set God before them. Selah.
4Nầy, Ðức Chúa Trời là sự tiếp trợ tôi, Chúa là Ðấng nâng đỡ linh hồn tôi.
4Lo, God [is] a helper to me, The Lord [is] with those supporting my soul,
5Ngài sẽ báo ác cho những kẻ thù nghịch tôi: Xin hãy diệt chúng nó đi, tùy sự chơn thật Chúa.
5Turn back doth the evil thing to mine enemies, In Thy truth cut them off.
6Hỡi Ðức Giê-hô-va, tôi sẽ dâng cho Ngài của lễ tình nguyện, Cũng sẽ cảm tạ danh Ngài, vì điều đó là tốt lành.
6With a free will-offering I sacrifice to Thee, I thank Thy name, O Jehovah, for [it is] good,
7Vì Ngài giải cứu tôi khỏi mọi mỗi gian truân; Mắt tôi thấy sự báo trả cho kẻ thù nghịch tôi.
7For, from all adversity He delivered me, And on mine enemies hath mine eye looked!
