²Mê-sê-lê-mia có những con trai, là Xa-cha-ri, con trưởng; Giê-đi-a-ên thứ nhì, Xê-ba-đia thứ ba, Giát-ni-ên thứ tư,

²Meshelemiah had sons: Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,

³Ê-lam thứ năm, Giô-ha-nan thứ sáu, và Ê-li-ô-ê-nai thứ bảy.

³Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Eliehoenai the seventh.

⁴Các con trai của Ô-bết-Ê-đôm là Sê-ma-gia con trưởng, Giê-hô-xa-bát thứ nhì, Giô-a thứ ba, Sa-ca thứ tư, Nê-ta-nên thứ năm,

⁵A-mi-ên thứ sáu, Y-sa-ca thứ bảy, và phê -u-lê-tai thứ tám; vì Ðức Chúa Trời có ban phước cho Ô-bết-Ê-đôm.

⁶Sê-ma-gia, con trai Ô-bết-Ê-đôm, cũng sanh những con trai, có quyền cai quản tông tộc mình; vì chúng đều là người mạnh dạn.

⁷Các con trai của Sê-ma-gia là Oát-ni, Rê-pha-ên, Ô-bết, Eân-xa-bát, và anh em họ, là Ê-li-hu và Sê-ma-kia, đều là kẻ mạnh dạn.

³¹Trong dòng Hếp-rôn có Giê-ri-gia làm trưởng. Ðương năm thứ bốn mươi đời Ða-vít, người ta cai số dòng họ Hếp-rôn, tùy tông tộc của chúng, thấy giữa vòng chúng tại Gia-ê-xe trong xứ Ga-la-át, có những người mạnh dạn.

³¹Of the Hebronites was Jerijah the chief, even of the Hebronites, according to their generations by fathers’ households. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valor at Jazer of Gilead.

³²Các anh em của Giê-ri-gia, đều là tay mạnh dạn, số được hai ngàn bảy trăm người, làm trưởng tộc; vua Ða-vít lập chúng trên người Ru-bên, và người Gát, và trên nửa chi phái Mê-na-se, đặng cai trị các việc của Ðức Chúa Trời và việc của vua.

³²His brothers, men of valor, were two thousand seven hundred, heads of fathers’ households, whom king David made overseers over the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half-tribe of the Manassites, for every matter pertaining to God, and for the affairs of the king.
