¹Ðức Giê-hô-va ôi! kẻ cừu địch tôi đã thêm nhiều dường bao! Lắm kẻ dấy lên cùng tôi thay!

¹Yahweh, how my adversaries have increased! Many are those who rise up against me.

²Biết bao kẻ nói về linh hồn tôi rằng: Nơi Ðức Chúa Trời chẳng có sự cứu rỗi cho nó.

²Many there are who say of my soul, “There is no help for him in God The Hebrew word rendered “God” is “Elohim.” .” Selah.

³Nhưng, hỡi Ðức Giê-hô-va, Ngài là cái khiên chở che tôi; Ngài là sự vinh hiển tôi, và là Ðấng làm cho tôi ngước đầu lên.

⁴Tôi lấy tiếng tôi mà kêu cầu Ðức Giê-hô-va, Từ núi thánh Ngài đáp lời tôi.

⁵Tôi nằm xuống mà ngủ; Tôi tỉnh thức, vì Ðức Giê-hô-va nâng đỡ tôi.

⁵I laid myself down and slept. I awakened; for Yahweh sustains me.

⁶Tôi sẽ không nao muôn người Vây tôi khắp bốn bên.

⁶I will not be afraid of tens of thousands of people who have set themselves against me on every side.

⁷Hỡi Ðức Giê-hô-va, hãy chổi dậy; Hỡi Ðức Chúa Trời tôi, hãy cứu tôi! Vì Chúa đã vả má các kẻ thù nghịch tôi, Và bẻ gãy răng kẻ ác.

⁷Arise, Yahweh! Save me, my God! For you have struck all of my enemies on the cheek bone. You have broken the teeth of the wicked.

⁸Sự cứu rỗi thuộc về Ðức Giê-hô-va. Nguyện phước Ngài giáng trên dân sự Ngài!
