1Now the children of Israel after their number, the heads of fathers’ households and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and their officers who served the king, in any matter of the divisions which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year—of every division were twenty-four thousand.

2Over the first division for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel: and in his division were twenty-four thousand.

3He was of the children of Perez, the chief of all the captains of the army for the first month.
3他是法勒斯子孫中的首領，統管正月那一班所有的軍長。
4Over the division of the second month was Dodai the Ahohite, and his division; and Mikloth the ruler: and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
4負責二月那一班的是亞哈希人朵代，他那一班還有副官密基羅，他那一班有二萬四千人。
5The third captain of the army for the third month was Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada the priest, chief: and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
5三月第三班的軍長是大祭司耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅，他那一班有二萬四千人。
6This is that Benaiah, who was the mighty man of the thirty, and over the thirty: and of his division was Ammizabad his son.
6這比拿雅是那三十位勇士中的一位，管理那三十人；他那一班還有他的兒子暗米薩拔。
7The fourth captain for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him: and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
7四月第四班的軍長是約押的兄弟亞撒黑，接續他的是他的兒子西巴第雅；他那一班有二萬四千人。
8The fifth captain for this fifth month was Shamhuth the Izrahite: and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
8五月第五班的軍長是伊斯拉人珊合，他那一班有二萬四千人。
9The sixth captain for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite: and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
9六月第六班的軍長是提哥亞人益吉的兒子以拉，他那一班有二萬四千人。
10The seventh captain for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
10七月第七班的軍長是以法蓮子孫中比倫人希利斯，他那一班有二萬四千人。
11The eighth captain for the eighth month was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zerahites: and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
11八月第八班的軍長是謝拉家族戶沙人西比該，他那一班有二萬四千人。
12The ninth captain for the ninth month was Abiezer the Anathothite, of the Benjamites: and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
12九月第九班的軍長是便雅憫支派亞拿突人亞比以謝，他那一班有二萬四千人。
13The tenth captain for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zerahites: and in his division were Twenty-four thousand.
13十月第十班的軍長是謝拉家族尼陀法人瑪哈萊，他那一班有二萬四千人。
14The eleventh captain for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
14十一月第十一班的軍長是以法蓮子孫中的比拉頓人比拿雅，他那一班有二萬四千人。
15The twelfth captain for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel: and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
15十二月第十二班的軍長是俄陀聶家族尼陀法人黑玳，他那一班有二萬四千人。
16Furthermore over the tribes of Israel: of the Reubenites was Eliezer the son of Zichri the ruler: of the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maacah:
16以色列各支派的領袖掌管以色列各支派的記在下面：流本支派的首領是細基利的兒子以利以謝；西緬支派的首領是瑪迦的兒子示法提雅；
17of Levi, Hashabiah the son of Kemuel: of Aaron, Zadok:
17利未支派的首領是基母利的兒子哈沙比雅；亞倫子孫的首領是撒督；
18of Judah, Elihu, one of the brothers of David: of Issachar, Omri the son of Michael:
18猶大支派的首領是大衛的哥哥以利戶；以薩迦支派的首領是米迦勒的兒子暗利；
19of Zebulun, Ishmaiah the son of Obadiah: of Naphtali, Jeremoth the son of Azriel:
19西布倫支派的首領是俄巴第雅的兒子伊施瑪雅；拿弗他利支派的首領是亞斯列的兒子耶利摩；
20of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Azaziah: of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Joel the son of Pedaiah:
20以法蓮支派的首領是阿撒細雅的兒子何細亞；瑪拿西半個支派的首領是毗大雅的兒子約珥；
21of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the son of Zechariah: of Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner:
21基列地瑪拿西那半個支派的首領是撒迦利亞的兒子易多；便雅憫支派的首領是押尼珥的兒子雅西業；
22of Dan, Azarel the son of Jeroham. These were the captains of the tribes of Israel.
22但支派的首領是耶羅罕的兒子亞薩列。以上這些人是以色列各支派的領袖。
23But David didn’t take the number of them from twenty years old and under, because Yahweh had said he would increase Israel like the stars of the sky.
23以色列人二十歲以下的，大衛都沒有登記他們的數目，因為耶和華曾經說過要增添以色列人的數目，好像天上的星那樣多。
24Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but didn’t finish; and there came wrath for this on Israel; neither was the number put into the account in the chronicles of king David.
24洗魯雅的兒子約押開始數點，但還沒有完成，為了這事耶和華的忿怒就臨到以色列人身上，所以以色列的人數沒有記在大衛王的年錄上。
25Over the king’s treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel: and over the treasures in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the towers, was Jonathan the son of Uzziah:
25王室財政與產業的主管管理王的庫房的，是亞疊的兒子押斯馬威；管理郊野、城市、鄉村和望樓的倉庫的，是烏西雅的兒子約拿單；
26Over those who did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub:
26管理耕田種地的，是基綠的兒子以斯利；
27and over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite: and over the increase of the vineyards for the winecellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite:
27管理葡萄園的，是拉瑪人示每；管理園裡酒庫的，是實弗米人撒巴底；
28and over the olive trees and the sycamore trees that were in the lowland was Baal Hanan the Gederite: and over the cellars of oil was Joash:
28管理高原橄欖樹和桑樹的，是基第利人巴力．哈南；管理油庫的，是約阿施；
29and over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite: and over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai:
29管理在沙崙牧放的牛群的，是沙崙人施提賚；管理在山谷的牛群的，是亞第賚的兒子沙法；
30and over the camels was Obil the Ishmaelite: and over the donkeys was Jehdeiah the Meronothite: and over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagrite.
30管理駱駝的，是以實瑪利人阿比勒；管理驢群的，是米崙人耶希底亞；
31All these were the rulers of the substance which was king David’s.
31管理羊群的，是夏甲人雅悉。以上這些人都是給大衛王管理產業的官員。
32Also Jonathan, David’s uncle, was a counselor, a man of understanding, and a scribe: and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king’s sons:
32大衛的重要臣僕大衛的叔父約拿單是一個謀士；這人很有智慧，又是一個經學家；哈摩尼的兒子耶歇是王眾子的老師。
33Ahithophel was the king’s counselor: and Hushai the Archite was the king’s friend:
33亞希多弗也是王的謀士；亞基人戶篩是王的朋友；
34and after Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar: and the captain of the king’s army was Joab.
34亞希多弗以後，有比拿雅的兒子耶何耶大和亞比亞他，接續他作謀士；約押作王的元帥。
