¹It happened, when Solomon had finished the building of the house of Yahweh, and the king’s house, and all Solomon’s desire which he was pleased to do,

¹耶和華再次向所羅門顯現（代下7:11~22）所羅門建造完了耶和華的殿、王宮和所羅門渴想建造的一切以後，

²that Yahweh appeared to Solomon the second time, as he had appeared to him at Gibeon.

²耶和華就第二次向所羅門顯現，像先前在基遍向他顯現一樣。

³Yahweh said to him, “I have heard your prayer and your supplication, that you have made before me. I have made this house holy, which you have built, to put my name there forever; and my eyes and my heart shall be there perpetually.

³耶和華對他說：“你在我面前所作的禱告和懇求，我都已經聽見了。你建造的這殿，我已經把它分別為聖，要使我的名永遠留在那裡；我的眼和我的心也必常在那裡。

⁴As for you, if you will walk before me, as David your father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded you, and will keep my statutes and my ordinances;

⁴至於你，如果你像你父親大衛那樣，存誠實和正直的心在我面前行事為人，遵行我一切所吩咐你的，謹守我的律例和典章，

⁵then I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, according as I promised to David your father, saying, ‘There shall not fail you a man on the throne of Israel.’

⁵我就必堅固你統治以色列的國位，直到永遠，正如我應許你父親大衛說：‘你的子孫，總不斷有人坐以色列的王位。

⁶But if you turn away from following me, you or your children, and not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set before you, but shall go and serve other gods, and worship them;

⁶你們或是你們的子孫，若是轉去不跟從我，不遵守我賜給你們的誡命和律例，去事奉別的神，敬拜他們，

⁷then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have made holy for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all peoples.

⁷我就必把以色列人從我賜給他們的這地上剪除，甚至為自己的名分別為聖的這殿，我也必從我面前把它丟棄不顧，使以色列人在萬族中成為笑談和譏笑的對象。

⁸Though this house is so high, yet shall everyone who passes by it be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, ‘Why has Yahweh done thus to this land, and to this house?’

⁸這巍峨的殿必成為廢墟，經過的人都必驚訝，取笑說：耶和華為甚麼向這地和這殿這樣作啊？

⁹and they shall answer, ‘Because they forsook Yahweh their God, who brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold of other gods, and worshiped them, and served them. Therefore Yahweh has brought all this evil on them.’”

⁹人要回答說：是因為他們離棄了那把他們的列祖從埃及地領出來的耶和華他們的　神，去親近別的神，敬拜他們，事奉他們，因此耶和華使這一切災禍臨到他們。’”

¹⁰It happened at the end of twenty years, in which Solomon had built the two houses, the house of Yahweh and the king’s house

¹⁰所羅門以二十座城回報希蘭所羅門用了二十年的時間來建造耶和華的殿和王宮這兩座建築物。

¹¹(now Hiram the king of Tyre had furnished Solomon with cedar trees and fir trees, and with gold, according to all his desire), that then king Solomon gave Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee.

¹¹因為推羅王希蘭曾照著所羅門所喜愛的，以香柏木、松木和金子幫助他，於是所羅門王把加利利地的二十座城給了希蘭。

¹²Hiram came out from Tyre to see the cities which Solomon had given him; and they didn’t please him.

¹²希蘭從推羅出來，看看所羅門給他的這些城。他不喜歡這些城，

¹³He said, “What cities are these which you have given me, my brother?” He called them the land of Cabul to this day.

¹³他說：“我的兄弟啊，這些就是你送給我的城嗎？”於是他給這些城起名叫迦步勒，直到今日。

¹⁴Hiram sent to the king one hundred twenty talents of gold.

¹⁴希蘭送給所羅門約有四千公斤金子。

¹⁵This is the reason of the levy which king Solomon raised, to build the house of Yahweh, and his own house, and Millo, and the wall of Jerusalem, and Hazor, and Megiddo, and Gezer.

¹⁵所羅門其他建樹與功績（代下8:3~18）這是所羅門王徵召服勞役的建築耶和華的殿和他自己的王宮，以及米羅、耶路撒冷的城牆、夏瑣、米吉多和基色的記錄。

¹⁶Pharaoh king of Egypt had gone up, and taken Gezer, and burnt it with fire, and slain the Canaanites who lived in the city, and given it for a portion to his daughter, Solomon’s wife.

¹⁶先前埃及王法老上來攻取基色，放火燒城，殺了住在城裡的迦南人，把城送給自己的女兒、所羅門的妻子作嫁妝。

¹⁷Solomon built Gezer, and Beth Horon the lower,

¹⁷所以所羅門重建基色、下伯．和崙、

¹⁸and Baalath, and Tamar in the wilderness, in the land,

¹⁸巴拉和在猶大地曠野裡的他瑪，

¹⁹and all the storage cities that Solomon had, and the cities for his chariots, and the cities for his horsemen, and that which Solomon desired to build for his pleasure in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.

¹⁹以及屬於所羅門所有的一切積貨城、屯車城、馬兵城，與所羅門在耶路撒冷、黎巴嫩和他統治的各地他喜愛建造的。

²⁰As for all the people who were left of the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, who were not of the children of Israel;

²⁰所有亞摩利人、赫人、比利洗人、希未人和耶布斯人餘下的人，他們不是以色列人。

²¹their children who were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel were not able utterly to destroy, of them Solomon raised a levy of bondservants to this day.

²¹他們的子孫仍然留在那地，以色列人不能滅絕他們。於是所羅門徵召他們作苦工的奴僕，直到今日。

²²But of the children of Israel Solomon made no bondservants; but they were the men of war, and his servants, and his princes, and his captains, and rulers of his chariots and of his horsemen.

²²至於以色列人，所羅門卻沒有使他們作奴僕，而是作他的戰士、臣僕、統領、軍長、戰車長和騎兵長。

²³These were the chief officers who were over Solomon’s work, five hundred fifty, who bore rule over the people who labored in the work.

²³所羅門有督工五百五十人，負責管理作工的人和監督工程。

²⁴But Pharaoh’s daughter came up out of the city of David to her house which Solomon had built for her: then he built Millo.

²⁴法老的女兒從大衛城搬到所羅門為她建造的宮裡以後，所羅門才重建米羅。

²⁵Solomon offered burnt offerings and peace offerings on the altar which he built to Yahweh three times a year, burning incense with them, on the altar that was before Yahweh. So he finished the house.

²⁵所羅門每年三次在他為耶和華建造的祭壇上獻上燔祭和平安祭；又在耶和華面前的壇上燒香，這樣，他完成了建殿的工程。

²⁶King Solomon made a navy of ships in Ezion Geber, which is beside Eloth, on the shore of the Red Sea or, Sea of Reeds , in the land of Edom.

²⁶所羅門王又在以東地、紅海邊，靠近以祿的以旬．迦別，建造船隊。

²⁷Hiram sent in the navy his servants, sailors who had knowledge of the sea, with the servants of Solomon.

²⁷希蘭派遣他船隊的僕人，就是熟悉航海的船員，與所羅門的僕人一同航海。

²⁸They came to Ophir, and fetched from there gold, four hundred and twenty talents, and brought it to king Solomon.

²⁸他們到達了俄斐，從那裡取得黃金約有一萬四千公斤，運到所羅門王那裡。
