¹It happened after these things, that Naboth the Jezreelite had a vineyard, which was in Jezreel, hard by the palace of Ahab king of Samaria.

¹亚哈贪图拿伯的葡萄园

²Ahab spoke to Naboth, saying, “Give me your vineyard, that I may have it for a garden of herbs, because it is near to my house; and I will give you for it a better vineyard than it. Or, if it seems good to you, I will give you its worth in money.”

²亚哈对拿伯说：“把你的葡萄园让给我，我可以用作菜园，因为你的葡萄园靠近我的王宫。我要把一个更好的葡萄园与你交换。如果你喜欢，我也可以按市价给你银子。”

³Naboth said to Ahab, “May Yahweh forbid me, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers to you!”

³可是拿伯对亚哈说：“耶和华绝对不容许我把祖业给你。”

⁴Ahab came into his house sullen and angry because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him; for he had said, “I will not give you the inheritance of my fathers.” He laid himself down on his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread.

⁴亚哈因为耶斯列人拿伯对他说：“我不能把祖业给你”，就闷闷不乐回到宫里。他躺在床上，脸朝向内，也不吃饭。

⁵But Jezebel his wife came to him, and said to him, “Why is your spirit so sad, that you eat no bread?”

⁵耶洗别献计他的妻子耶洗别进来见他，问他说：“你为什么心里这么烦闷，连饭也不吃呢？”

⁶He said to her, “Because I spoke to Naboth the Jezreelite, and said to him, ‘Give me your vineyard for money; or else, if it pleases you, I will give you another vineyard for it.’ He answered, ‘I will not give you my vineyard.’”

⁶亚哈回答她说：“因为我对耶斯列人拿伯说：‘把你的葡萄园让给我，我付你银子；或者你喜欢的话，我可以用另一个葡萄园与你交换’；可是他说：‘我不能把我的葡萄园让给你。’”

⁷Jezebel his wife said to him, “Do you now govern the kingdom of Israel? Arise, and eat bread, and let your heart be merry. I will give you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.”

⁷他的妻子耶洗别对他说：“你现在不是统治以色列的王吗？只管起来吃饭，心神畅快，我必能把耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄园给你。”

⁸So she wrote letters in Ahab’s name, and sealed them with his seal, and sent the letters to the elders and to the nobles who were in his city, who lived with Naboth.

⁸于是耶洗别以亚哈的名义写了一些信，然后把这些信送给那些住在拿伯城里的长老和贵胄。

⁹She wrote in the letters, saying, “Proclaim a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people.

⁹她在信上写着说：“你们要宣告禁食，使拿伯坐在民间的首位上。

¹⁰Set two men, base fellows, before him, and let them testify against him, saying, ‘You cursed God and the king!’ Then carry him out, and stone him to death.”

¹⁰又叫两个匪徒坐在拿伯的对面，作见证控告他说：‘你曾经咒诅　神和君王’；然后把他拉出去，用石头把他打死。”

¹¹The men of his city, even the elders and the nobles who lived in his city, did as Jezebel had sent to them, according as it was written in the letters which she had sent to them.

¹¹拿伯被杀害于是拿伯城里的人，就是那些与拿伯同住一城的长老和贵胄，都照着耶洗别送给他们的信上所写的去行。

¹²They proclaimed a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people.

¹²他们宣告禁食，使拿伯坐在民间的首席上。

¹³The two men, the base fellows, came in and sat before him. The base fellows testified against him, even against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, “Naboth cursed God and the king!” Then they carried him out of the city, and stoned him to death with stones.

¹³然后两个匪徒来坐在拿伯的对面。这两个流氓当众作见证控告拿伯，说：“拿伯曾经咒诅　神和君王。”众人就把拿伯拉出城外，用石头打他，把他打死了。

¹⁴Then they sent to Jezebel, saying, “Naboth has been stoned, and is dead.”

¹⁴于是他们派人去见耶洗别，说：“拿伯已经被人用石头打死了。”

¹⁵It happened, when Jezebel heard that Naboth was stoned, and was dead, that Jezebel said to Ahab, “Arise, take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, which he refused to give you for money; for Naboth is not alive, but dead.”

¹⁵亚哈霸占葡萄园耶洗别听见拿伯已经被人用石头打死了，就对亚哈说：“你起来，去占有那耶斯列人拿伯从前不肯给你的葡萄园，因为拿伯现在没有命了，他已经死了。”

¹⁶It happened, when Ahab heard that Naboth was dead, that Ahab rose up to go down to the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, to take possession of it.

¹⁶亚哈听见拿伯已经死了，就起来，下到耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄园那里去，要占有那园。

¹⁷The word of Yahweh came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying,

¹⁷以利亚责备亚哈之恶行那时，耶和华的话临到提斯比人以利亚说：

¹⁸“Arise, go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, who dwells in Samaria. Behold, he is in the vineyard of Naboth, where he has gone down to take possession of it.

¹⁸“你起来，下去迎见住在撒玛利亚的以色列王亚哈，他现在正在耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄园里。他下到那里去，是要占有那个园。

¹⁹You shall speak to him, saying, ‘Thus says Yahweh, “Have you killed and also taken possession?”’ You shall speak to him, saying, ‘Thus says Yahweh, “In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth, dogs will lick your blood, even yours.”’”

¹⁹你要对他说：‘耶和华这样说：你杀了人，又占有他的产业吗？’你又要对他说：‘耶和华这样说：狗在什么地方舔拿伯的血，也必在什么地方舔你的血。’”

²⁰Ahab said to Elijah, “Have you found me, my enemy?” He answered, “I have found you, because you have sold yourself to do that which is evil in the sight of Yahweh.

²⁰亚哈对以利亚说：“我的仇人哪，你找到了我吗？”以利亚说：“我找到你了，因为你出卖了你自己，去行耶和华看为恶的事。

²¹Behold, I will bring evil on you, and will utterly sweep you away and will cut off from Ahab everyone who urinates against a wall, or, male and him who is shut up and him who is left at large in Israel.

²¹耶和华说：‘看哪，我必使灾祸临到你，除灭你的后代，在以色列中属亚哈的男丁，无论是自由的，或是不自由的，我都要除灭。

²²I will make your house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah for the provocation with which you have provoked me to anger, and have made Israel to sin.”

²²我要使你的家像尼八的儿子耶罗波安的家，又像亚希雅的儿子巴沙的家，因为你惹我发怒，又因为你使以色列人陷在罪中。’

²³Yahweh also spoke of Jezebel, saying, “The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the rampart of Jezreel.

²³至于耶洗别，耶和华也说：‘狗必在耶斯列的地方吃耶洗别的肉。

²⁴The dogs will eat he who dies of Ahab in the city; and the birds of the sky will eat he who dies in the field.”

²⁴属亚哈的人，死在城里的，必被野狗吃掉；死在田野的，必被空中的飞鸟吃掉。’”

²⁵But there was none like Ahab, who sold himself to do that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.

²⁵只是从来没有人像亚哈的；他受了他妻子耶洗别的引诱，出卖了他自己，行耶和华看为恶的事。

²⁶He did very abominably in following idols, according to all that the Amorites did, whom Yahweh cast out before the children of Israel.

²⁶他按照耶和华在以色列人面前赶走的亚摩利人所行的一切，跟从偶像。行了非常可憎的事。

²⁷It happened, when Ahab heard those words, that he tore his clothes, and put sackcloth on his flesh, and fasted, and lay in sackcloth, and went softly.

²⁷亚哈悔改，免受惩罚亚哈听见这些话，就撕裂自己的衣服，披上麻布，禁食，睡在麻布上，并且神色颓丧地行走。

²⁸The word of Yahweh came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying,

²⁸耶和华的话临到提斯比人以利亚说：

²⁹“See how Ahab humbles himself before me? Because he humbles himself before me, I will not bring the evil in his days; but in his son’s days will I bring the evil on his house.”

²⁹“你看见了亚哈在我面前怎样谦卑自己，因为他在我面前谦卑自己，所以他还在世的日子，我必不降这灾祸；到他儿子的日子，我必降这灾祸与他的家。”
