1Hezekiah began to reign when he was twenty-five years old; and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem: and his mother’s name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.
1希西家作犹大王（王下18:1-3）
2He did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, according to all that David his father had done.
2希西家行耶和华看为正的事，像他祖先大卫一切所行的。
3He in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the doors of the house of Yahweh, and repaired them.
3洁净圣殿他在位的元年正月，开了耶和华殿的门，重新修理。
4He brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them together into the broad place on the east,
4他把祭司和利未人都召了来，聚集在东面的广场上，
5and said to them, “Listen to me, you Levites! Now sanctify yourselves, and sanctify the house of Yahweh, the God of your fathers, and carry out the filthiness out of the holy place.
5对他们说：“利未人哪，你们要听我的话；现在你们要自洁，又要洁净耶和华你们列祖的 神的殿，把污秽之物从圣所中除去。
6For our fathers have trespassed, and done that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh our God, and have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of Yahweh, and turned their backs.
6我们的列祖冒犯了 神，行了耶和华我们的 神看为恶的事，离弃了他，转脸不顾耶和华的居所，以背向他。
7Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place to the God of Israel.
7他们又封闭廊门，熄灭灯火，不在圣所中向以色列的 神烧香或献燔祭。
8Therefore the wrath of Yahweh was on Judah and Jerusalem, and he has delivered them to be tossed back and forth, to be an astonishment, and a hissing, as you see with your eyes.
8因此，耶和华的震怒临到犹大和耶路撒冷的居民身上，使他们成为令人恐惧、惊骇和嗤笑的对象，就像你们亲眼看见的一样。
9For, behold, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.
9所以我们的列祖倒在刀下；我们的儿女和妻子也都因此作了俘虏。
10Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with Yahweh, the God of Israel, that his fierce anger may turn away from us.
10现在我心中有意要和耶和华以色列的 神立约，好使他的震怒转离我们。
11My sons, don’t be negligent now; for Yahweh has chosen you to stand before him, to minister to him, and that you should be his ministers, and burn incense.”
11我的孩子们，你们现在不要懈怠，因为耶和华拣选了你们站在他面前事奉他，为要作他的仆人，向他烧香。”
12Then the Levites arose, Mahath, the son of Amasai, and Joel the son of Azariah, of the sons of the Kohathites; and of the sons of Merari, Kish the son of Abdi, and Azariah the son of Jehallelel; and of the Gershonites, Joah the son of Zimmah, and Eden the son of Joah;
12于是，利未人哥辖的子孙亚玛赛的儿子玛哈、亚撒利雅的儿子约珥；米拉利的子孙亚伯底的儿子基士、耶哈利勒的儿子亚撒利雅；革顺的子孙薪玛的儿子约亚、约亚的儿子伊甸；
13and of the sons of Elizaphan, Shimri and Jeuel; and of the sons of Asaph, Zechariah and Mattaniah;
13以利撒反的子孙申利和耶利；亚萨的子孙撒迦利亚和玛探雅；
14and of the sons of Heman, Jehuel and Shimei; and of the sons of Jeduthun, Shemaiah and Uzziel.
14希幔的子孙耶歇和示每；耶杜顿的子孙示玛雅和乌薛都起来，
15They gathered their brothers, and sanctified themselves, and went in, according to the commandment of the king by the words of Yahweh, to cleanse the house of Yahweh.
15集合他们的亲族，洁净自己，照着王的吩咐，根据耶和华的命令，进去洁净耶和华的殿。
16The priests went in to the inner part of the house of Yahweh, to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in Yahweh’s temple into the court of the house of Yahweh. The Levites took it, to carry it out abroad to the brook Kidron.
16祭司进入耶和华殿的里面进行洁净，他们在耶和华殿里发现的一切污秽之物，都搬到耶和华殿的院子里；利未人接过，就搬到城外的汲沦溪边。
17Now they began on the first day of the first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month came they to the porch of Yahweh; and they sanctified the house of Yahweh in eight days: and on the sixteenth day of the first month they made an end.
17他们在正月初一开始洁净圣殿，第八日去到耶和华殿的走廊；他们用了八日洁净耶和华的殿，到了正月十六日才完工。
18Then they went in to Hezekiah the king within the palace, and said, “We have cleansed all the house of Yahweh, and the altar of burnt offering, with all its vessels, and the table of show bread, with all its vessels.
18于是他们进王宫见希西家王，说：“我们已经把整个耶和华的殿、燔祭坛和坛的一切器皿、陈设饼的桌子和桌子上的一切器皿，都洁净了。
19Moreover all the vessels, which king Ahaz in his reign threw away when he trespassed, have we prepared and sanctified; and behold, they are before the altar of Yahweh.”
19亚哈斯王在位，他得罪 神的时候丢弃的一切器皿，我们都预备齐全，也都洁净好了；现在都放在耶和华的祭坛前。”
20Then Hezekiah the king arose early, and gathered the princes of the city, and went up to the house of Yahweh.
20献赎罪祭希西家王清早起来，召集城中的领袖，上耶和华的殿去。
21They brought seven bulls, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven male goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom and for the sanctuary and for Judah. He commanded the priests the sons of Aaron to offer them on the altar of Yahweh.
21他们牵来了七头公牛、七只公绵羊、七只羊羔和七只公山羊，要为国家、为圣所和为犹大人作赎罪祭；王吩咐亚伦的子孙众祭司把它们献在耶和华的坛上。
22So they killed the bulls, and the priests received the blood, and sprinkled it on the altar: and they killed the rams, and sprinkled the blood on the altar: they killed also the lambs, and sprinkled the blood on the altar.
22他们宰了公牛，祭司把血接过来，洒在祭坛上；他们又宰了公绵羊，把血洒在祭坛上；他们又宰了羊羔，也把血洒在祭坛上。
23They brought near the male goats for the sin offering before the king and the assembly; and they laid their hands on them:
23最后把作赎罪祭的公山羊，牵到王和会众面前，王和会众就按手在公山羊的身上。
24and the priests killed them, and they made a sin offering with their blood on the altar, to make atonement for all Israel; for the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel.
24祭司宰了公山羊，把血洒在祭坛上作赎罪祭，为所有以色列人赎罪；因为王曾经吩咐要为所有以色列人献上燔祭和赎罪祭。
25He set the Levites in the house of Yahweh with cymbals, with stringed instruments, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, and of Gad the king’s seer, and Nathan the prophet; for the commandment was of Yahweh by his prophets.
25献燔祭王又指派在耶和华殿中的利未人拿着响钹和琴瑟，是照着大卫、王的先见迦得和拿单先知所吩咐的，就是耶和华借他的先知所吩咐的。
26The Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets.
26利未人拿着大卫的乐器，祭司持着号筒，一同站着。
27Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offering on the altar. When the burnt offering began, the song of Yahweh began also, and the trumpets, together with the instruments of David king of Israel.
27希西家吩咐在祭坛上献上燔祭。开始献燔祭的时候，就开始向耶和华歌唱，并且用号筒和以色列王大卫的乐器伴奏。
28All the assembly worshiped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded; all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.
28全体会众都叩拜，歌唱的歌唱，吹号的吹号，直到燔祭都献完了。
29When they had made an end of offering, the king and all who were present with him bowed themselves and worshiped.
29献感恩祭与其他的燔祭献完了祭，王和所有在场的人，都屈膝叩拜。
30Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praises to Yahweh with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. They sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshiped.
30希西家王和众领袖，又吩咐利未人用大卫和先见亚萨的诗词赞美耶和华，于是他们欢欢喜喜地赞美耶和华，低头敬拜。
31Then Hezekiah answered, “Now you have consecrated yourselves to Yahweh; come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the house of Yahweh.” The assembly brought in sacrifices and thank offerings; and as many as were of a willing heart brought burnt offerings.
31希西家说：“你们现在归耶和华为圣了。请前来，把祭物和感恩祭带到耶和华的殿里来。”于是会众把祭物和感恩祭带来；凡是甘心乐意的，都把燔祭带来。
32The number of the burnt offerings which the assembly brought was seventy bulls, one hundred rams, and two hundred lambs: all these were for a burnt offering to Yahweh.
32会众带来的燔祭如下：公牛七十头、公绵羊一百只、羊羔二百只。这些都是作燔祭献给耶和华的。
33The consecrated things were six hundred head of cattle and three thousand sheep.
33还有分别为圣之物：公牛六百头、绵羊三千只。
34But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: therefore their brothers the Levites helped them, until the work was ended, and until the priests had sanctified themselves; for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.
34只是祭司太少，不能把所有燔祭牲剥皮，所以他们的亲族协助他们，直到剥皮的工作完了，又等到其他祭司自洁完了，因为利未人在自洁的事上比众祭司更加诚心。
35Also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings, and with the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of the house of Yahweh was set in order.
35此外，还有很多燔祭牲和平安祭牲的脂肪，以及和燔祭同献的奠祭很多。这样，耶和华殿里的事奉就重新恢复了。
36Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, because of that which God had prepared for the people: for the thing was done suddenly.
36因为事情很快办完，希西家和全体人民因 神为他的子民所预备的，都甚欢乐。
