¹Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign; and he reigned thirty-one years in Jerusalem: and his mother’s name was Jedidah the daughter of Adaiah of Bozkath.

¹约西亚作犹大王（代下34:1-2）

²He did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, and walked in all the way of David his father, and didn’t turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

²他行耶和华看为正的事，跟随他祖宗大卫所行的一切道路，不偏左右。

³It happened in the eighteenth year of king Josiah, that the king sent Shaphan, the son of Azaliah the son of Meshullam, the scribe, to the house of Yahweh, saying,

³重修圣殿（代下34:8-13）约西亚在位第十八年，王差派米书兰的孙子、亚萨利的儿子、书记沙番到耶和华的殿，吩咐他说：

⁴“Go up to Hilkiah the high priest, that he may sum the money which is brought into the house of Yahweh, which the keepers of the threshold have gathered of the people.

⁴“你上去到希勒家大祭司那里，叫他把献给耶和华殿的银子，就是守门的从人民所收集的，结算一下。

⁵Let them deliver it into the hand of the workmen who have the oversight of the house of Yahweh; and let them give it to the workmen who are in the house of Yahweh, to repair the breaches of the house,

⁵然后要他们把银子交到在耶和华殿管理工匠的人手中，他们可以把银子交付在耶和华殿修补破坏的地方的工匠，

⁶to the carpenters, and to the builders, and to the masons, and for buying timber and cut stone to repair the house.

⁶就是交给木匠、建筑工人、石匠，又购买木材和凿好的石头，用来修理圣殿破坏的地方。

⁷However there was no accounting made with them of the money that was delivered into their hand; for they dealt faithfully.”

⁷银子交在他们手中，不用和他们算帐，因为他们办事诚实。”

⁸Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the scribe, “I have found the book of the law in the house of Yahweh.” Hilkiah delivered the book to Shaphan, and he read it.

⁸发现律法书（代下34:14-21）希勒家大祭司对书记沙番说：“我在耶和华的殿里找到了一卷律法书。”他把书卷交给沙番；沙番就阅读那书卷。

⁹Shaphan the scribe came to the king, and brought the king word again, and said, “Your servants have emptied out the money that was found in the house, and have delivered it into the hand of the workmen who have the oversight of the house of Yahweh.”

⁹书记沙番来见王，向王回报说：“你的臣仆已经把殿里的银子清点，交在耶和华殿里管理工匠的人手中。”

¹⁰Shaphan the scribe told the king, saying, “Hilkiah the priest has delivered a book to me.” Shaphan read it before the king.

¹⁰书记沙番又告诉王说：“希勒家大祭司交给我一卷书卷。”书记沙番就在王面前诵读那书卷。

¹¹It happened, when the king had heard the words of the book of the law, that he tore his clothes.

¹¹王听见律法书上的话的时候，就撕裂自己的衣服。

¹²The king commanded Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Achbor the son of Micaiah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah the king’s servant, saying,

¹²王又吩咐希勒家祭司、沙番的儿子亚希甘、米该亚的儿子亚革博、书记沙番和王的臣仆及亚撒雅说：

¹³“Go inquire of Yahweh for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found; for great is the wrath of Yahweh that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not listened to the words of this book, to do according to all that which is written concerning us.”

¹³“你们去，为了我、为了人民、为了犹大全国，因着所发现的这书卷上的话求问耶和华，因为耶和华向我们所发的怒气极大；这是因着我们的祖先没有听从这律法书上的话，没有照着所有写给我们的去行。”

¹⁴So Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam, and Achbor, and Shaphan, and Asaiah, went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe (now she lived in Jerusalem in the second quarter); and they talked with her.

¹⁴女先知户勒大的预言（代下34:22-28）于是希勒家祭司、亚希甘、亚革博、沙番、亚撒雅去见女先知户勒大。她就是掌管礼服的沙龙的妻子，沙龙是哈珥哈斯的孙子、特瓦的儿子。她住在耶路撒冷第二区；他们就把事情都告诉了她。

¹⁵She said to them, “Thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel: ‘Tell the man who sent you to me,

¹⁵她对他们说：“耶和华以色列的　神这样说：‘告诉那差你们到我这里来的人说：

¹⁶“Thus says Yahweh, ‘Behold, I will bring evil on this place, and on its inhabitants, even all the words of the book which the king of Judah has read.

¹⁶耶和华这样说：看哪，我要照着犹大王所念那书卷上所有的话，使灾祸降临在这地方和它的居民身上，

¹⁷Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense to other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the work of their hands, therefore my wrath shall be kindled against this place, and it shall not be quenched.’”

¹⁷因为他们背弃了我，向别的神焚香。他们所行的一切都使我发怒，因此我的怒火要在这地方燃点，不会熄灭。

¹⁸But to the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of Yahweh, thus you shall tell him, “Thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel: ‘Concerning the words which you have heard,

¹⁸至于那差你们来求问耶和华的犹大王，你们要这样对他说：耶和华以色列的　神这样说：有关你所听见的话，

¹⁹because your heart was tender, and you humbled yourself before Yahweh, when you heard what I spoke against this place, and against its inhabitants, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and have torn your clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard you,’ says Yahweh.

¹⁹你听见我攻击这地方和它的居民的话，就是他们要成为荒凉，受咒诅，你的心就顺服，在我面前谦卑，又撕裂自己的衣服，在我面前哀哭，我已经听到了。这是耶和华的宣告。

²⁰‘Therefore behold, I will gather you to your fathers, and you shall be gathered to your grave in peace, neither shall your eyes see all the evil which I will bring on this place.’”’” They brought back this message to the king.

²⁰因此，看哪，我要使你归到你的祖先那里，你必平平安安地葬在你的坟墓里；你不会看见我要降在这地的一切灾祸。’”他们就把这话向王回报。
