1It shall happen, when all these things have come on you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you shall call them to mind among all the nations, where Yahweh your God has driven you,
1归向耶和华必蒙赐福
2and shall return to Yahweh your God, and shall obey his voice according to all that I command you this day, you and your children, with all your heart, and with all your soul;
2你和你的子孙必一心一意归向耶和华你的 神，照着我今日吩咐你的一切听从他的话。
3that then Yahweh your God will turn your captivity, and have compassion on you, and will return and gather you from all the peoples, where Yahweh your God has scattered you.
3那时，耶和华你的 神就必使你这被掳的人回归，他必怜悯你；耶和华你的 神必从你被分散到的万民中，把你再召集回来。
4If your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of the heavens, from there will Yahweh your God gather you, and from there he will bring you back:
4你被赶逐的人，就是在天涯海角，耶和华你的 神也必从那里把你召集回来，从那里把你带回。
5and Yahweh your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it; and he will do you good, and multiply you above your fathers.
5耶和华你的 神必领你进入你列祖所得之地，使你可以得着这地；他必善待你，他也必使你的人数增多，胜过你的列祖。
6Yahweh your God will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your seed, to love Yahweh your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, that you may live.
6耶和华你的 神必把你心里和你后裔心里的污秽除掉，要你一心一意爱耶和华你的 神，使你可以存活。
7Yahweh your God will put all these curses on your enemies, and on those who hate you, who persecuted you.
7耶和华你的 神必把这一切咒诅，加在你的仇敌和恨恶你、逼迫你的人身上。
8You shall return and obey the voice of Yahweh, and do all his commandments which I command you this day.
8你却要再听从耶和华的话，遵行他的一切诫命，就是我今日吩咐你的。
9Yahweh your God will make you plenteous in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, and in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground, for good: for Yahweh will again rejoice over you for good, as he rejoiced over your fathers;
9耶和华你的 神必使你手里所办的一切事、你身所生的、牲畜所出的、地土所产的，都丰盛有余，因为耶和华必再喜悦你，使你得福，像从前喜悦你的列祖一样；
10if you shall obey the voice of Yahweh your God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law; if you turn to Yahweh your God with all your heart, and with all your soul.
10只要你听从耶和华你的 神的话，谨守这律法书上所写的诫命和律例；只要你一心一意回转归向耶和华你的 神。
11For this commandment which I command you this day, it is not too hard for you, neither is it far off.
11“其实我今日吩咐你的这诫命，对你并不太难，离你也不太远。
12It is not in heaven, that you should say, “Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it to us, and make us to hear it, that we may do it?”
12这诫命不是在天上，以致你说：‘谁替我们上到天上去，为我们取下来，使我们听见，就可以遵行呢？’
13Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say, “Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it to us, and make us to hear it, that we may do it?”
13也不是在海外，以致你说：‘谁替我们过海去，为我们取回来，使我们听见，就可以遵行呢？’
14But the word is very near to you, in your mouth, and in your heart, that you may do it.
14其实这话离你很近，就在你口里，也在你心里，使你可以遵行。
15Behold, I have set before you this day life and good, and death and evil;
15生死二途由人选择“你看，我今日把生命和福乐，死亡与灾祸，都摆在你的面前了。
16in that I command you this day to love Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his ordinances, that you may live and multiply, and that Yahweh your God may bless you in the land where you go in to possess it.
16如果你听从耶和华你的 神的诫命，就是我今日吩咐你的；爱耶和华你的 神，行他的道路，谨守他的诫命、律例、典章，使你可以存活，人数增多，耶和华你的 神就必在你要进去得为业的地上赐福给你。
17But if your heart turns away, and you will not hear, but shall be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;
17但是，如果你的心偏离了，不肯听从，却被人勾引，去敬拜和事奉别的神；
18I denounce to you this day, that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land, where you pass over the Jordan to go in to possess it.
18我今日郑重地告诉你们，你们必要灭亡；在你过约旦河，进去得为业的地上，你的年日必不长久。
19I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse: therefore choose life, that you may live, you and your seed;
19我今日呼天唤地向你们作证，我把生与死，福与祸，都摆在你面前了；所以你要选择生命，好让你和你的后裔都可以活着，
20to love Yahweh your God, to obey his voice, and to cling to him; for he is your life, and the length of your days; that you may dwell in the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
20爱耶和华你的 神，听从他的话，紧靠他，因为那就是你的生命，你的长寿；这样，你才能在耶和华向你的列祖亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓应许要赐给他们的地上居住。”
