¹Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and rely on horses, and trust in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because they are very strong, but they don’t look to the Holy One of Israel, and they don’t seek Yahweh!

¹埃及无助，唯　神能拯救

²Yet he also is wise, and will bring disaster, and will not call back his words, but will arise against the house of the evildoers, and against the help of those who work iniquity.

²耶和华是智慧的，他必降下灾祸，决不收回自己的话，却要起来攻击作恶者之家，又攻击那些助人作孽的。

³Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When Yahweh stretches out his hand, both he who helps shall stumble, and he who is helped shall fall, and they all shall be consumed together.

³埃及人是人，并不是　神；他们的马匹是血肉，并不是灵；耶和华一伸手，那帮助人的就绊倒，那受帮助的也必仆倒，并且一同灭亡。

⁴For thus says Yahweh to me, “As the lion and the young lion growling over his prey, if a multitude of shepherds is called together against him, will not be dismayed at their voice, nor abase himself for their noise, so Yahweh of Armies will come down to fight on Mount Zion and on its heights.

⁴因为耶和华对我这样说：“狮子和少壮狮子怎样因捕获猎物而咆哮，虽然召集了许多的牧人来攻击它们，它们并不因他们的声音而惊慌，也不因他们的喧嚷而蹲伏；照样，万军之耶和华必降临在锡安山和它的冈陵上争战。”

⁵As birds hovering, so Yahweh of Armies will protect Jerusalem. He will protect and deliver it. He will pass over and preserve it.”

⁵雀鸟怎样搧翅护雏，万军之耶和华也必照样保护耶路撒冷，他必保护和拯救，他必越过和搭救。

⁶以色列人哪！你们是要回转，归向那曾被你们彻底背弃的耶和华。

⁷到那日，各人都必拋弃自己的金偶像和银偶像，就是你们亲手所做，把自己陷在罪中的。

⁸“The Assyrian will fall by the sword, not of man; and the sword, not of mankind, shall devour him. He will flee from the sword, and his young men will become subject to forced labor.

⁸预言亚述灭亡亚述人必倒在刀下，不是人的刀；必有刀把他们吞灭，也不是人的刀。他们必不能逃避刀剑，他们的年轻人必作苦工。

⁹His rock will pass away by reason of terror, and his princes will be afraid of the banner,” says Yahweh, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.

⁹他们的磐石必因惊慌而挪去，他们的领袖必因见到以色列的旗帜而惊惶。这是那有火在锡安，有炉在耶路撒冷的耶和华说的。
