1Yet listen now, Jacob my servant, and Israel, whom I have chosen.
1以色列人将蒙赐福
2This is what Yahweh who made you, and formed you from the womb, who will help you says: “Don’t be afraid, Jacob my servant; and you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.
2那创造你，从母胎里就塑造了你，又要帮助你的耶和华这样说：我的仆人雅各啊！我所拣选的耶书仑啊！你不要惧怕。
3For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and streams on the dry ground. I will pour my Spirit on your seed, and my blessing on your offspring:
3因为我要把水浇灌干渴之处，把河水浇灌干旱之地；我必把我的灵浇灌你的后裔，把我的福降给你的子孙。
4and they will spring up among the grass, as willows by the watercourses.
4他们要像从草中生长起来，又像溪水旁的柳树。
5One will say, ‘I am Yahweh’s;’ and another will be called by the name of Jacob; and another will write with his hand ‘to Yahweh,’ and honor the name of Israel.”
5这个必说：‘我是属耶和华的’；那个也必以雅各的名称呼自己；另一个必亲手写上‘我是属耶和华的’，并且要以以色列的名字替自己命名。”
6This is what Yahweh, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, Yahweh of Armies, says: “I am the first, and I am the last; and besides me there is no God.
6 神是独一真神耶和华以色列的王、以色列的救赎主、万军之耶和华这样说：“我是首先的，我是末后的；除我以外，再没有真神。
7Who is like me? Who will call, and will declare it, and set it in order for me, since I established the ancient people? Let them declare the things that are coming, and that will happen.
7谁像我呢？让他宣告，让他述说，又在我面前陈明吧！自从我设立古时的子民，未来的事和将要发生的事，让他们把它们述说出来吧！
8Don’t fear, neither be afraid. Haven’t I declared it to you long ago, and shown it? You are my witnesses. Is there a God besides me? Indeed, there is not. I don’t know any other Rock.”
8你们不要惊惶，也不要惧怕。我不是老早就说了给你们听，告诉了你们吗？你们就是我的见证人。除我以外，还有真神吗？没有别的磐石；我一个也不知道。”
9Everyone who makes an engraved image is vain. The things that they delight in will not profit. Their own witnesses don’t see, nor know, that they may be disappointed.
9制造偶像者的愚昧制造偶像的人，尽都是虚空的，他们所喜爱的，都没有益处。他们的见证人，一无所见，一无所知，以致他们蒙羞。
10Who has fashioned a god, or molds an image that is profitable for nothing?
10谁制造神像，或铸造偶像，不想得到益处呢？
11Behold, all his fellows will be disappointed; and the workmen are mere men. Let them all be gathered together. Let them stand up. They will fear. They will be put to shame together.
11看哪！所有与它同伙的都必蒙羞；工匠也不过是人罢了。让他们都集合起来，都站立起来；让他们都惧怕，都一同蒙羞。
12The blacksmith takes an axe, works in the coals, fashions it with hammers, and works it with his strong arm. He is hungry, and his strength fails; he drinks no water, and is faint.
12铁匠先用工具在铁上雕刻，然后在火炭中加工，再用锤子把铁锤成形状，用他有力的膀臂锤成。他若饥饿，就没有力量；他若不喝水，就疲乏。
13The carpenter stretches out a line. He marks it out with a pencil. He shapes it with planes. He marks it out with compasses, and shapes it like the figure of a man, with the beauty of a man, to reside in a house.
13木匠拉线，用笔画出轮廓，用刨子刨平，用圆规画出模样，做成人的形状，有人一般的美丽，好住在庙里。
14He cuts down cedars for himself, and takes the cypress and the oak, and strengthens for himself one among the trees of the forest. He plants a fir tree, and the rain nourishes it.
14他为自己砍伐香柏树，或选取榆树和橡树，让它在树林中长起来；他栽种松树，让雨水使它长大。
15Then it will be for a man to burn; and he takes some of it, and warms himself. Yes, he burns it, and bakes bread. Yes, he makes a god, and worships it; he makes it an engraved image, and falls down to it.
15人可以用这树作燃料，可以拿来生火取暖，又可以烧着烤饼；人竟然用它做神像敬拜，他做了雕刻的偶像，又向它叩拜。
16He burns part of it in the fire. With part of it, he eats meat. He roasts a roast, and is satisfied. Yes, he warms himself, and says, “Aha! I am warm. I have seen the fire.”
16他把木头的一半放在火里燃烧；在上面烤肉；吃了烤肉，并且吃饱了，就自己烤火取暖，说：“哈哈！我暖和了，我看见火了。”
17The rest of it he makes into a god, even his engraved image. He bows down to it and worships, and prays to it, and says, “Deliver me; for you are my god!”
17他用剩下来的一半做了一个神像，就是他雕刻的偶像，他向它俯伏，向它敬拜，又向它祷告，说：“求你救我，因为你是我的神。”
18They don’t know, neither do they consider: for he has shut their eyes, that they can’t see; and their hearts, that they can’t understand.
18他们并不知道，也不明白；因为耶和华闭住他们的眼睛，使他们不能看见，塞住他们的心，使他们不能明白。
19No one thinks, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, “I have burned part of it in the fire. Yes, I have also baked bread on its coals. I have roasted meat and eaten it. Shall I make the rest of it into an abomination? Shall I bow down to a tree trunk?”
19没有人细心思想，也没有人有知识有聪明说：“我把木头的一半放在火里燃烧，我也在炭火上烘过饼，烤过肉吃，剩下的，我却用来做了一个可憎之物，我要向木头叩拜吗？”
20He feeds on ashes. A deceived heart has turned him aside; and he can’t deliver his soul, nor say, “Isn’t there a lie in my right hand?”
20他所追求的只是灰尘，被迷惑了的心使他偏离正道了；他不能救自己，也不会说：“在我的右手中不是有个假神吗？”
21Remember these things, Jacob and Israel; for you are my servant. I have formed you. You are my servant. Israel, you will not be forgotten by me.
21耶和华救赎之恩雅各和以色列啊！要记念这些话，因为你是我的仆人。我造了你，是要你作我的仆人；以色列啊！你必不会被我忘记。
22I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, your transgressions, and, as a cloud, your sins. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.
22我涂抹了你的过犯，像密云消散；我涂抹了你的罪恶，如薄云灭没，你当归向我，因为我救赎了你。
23Sing, you heavens, for Yahweh has done it! Shout, you lower parts of the earth! Break out into singing, you mountains, O forest, all of your trees, for Yahweh has redeemed Jacob, and will glorify himself in Israel.
23诸天啊！你们要欢呼，因为耶和华作成了这事。地的深处啊！你们要吶喊。群山啊！你们要发声欢呼。树林和其中所有的树啊！你们都当这样。因为耶和华救赎了雅各，他要借着以色列使自己得荣耀。
24Thus says Yahweh, your Redeemer, and he who formed you from the womb: “I am Yahweh, who makes all things; who alone stretches out the heavens; who spreads out the earth by myself;
24你的救赎主，就是那在母胎中就造了你的耶和华这样说：“我耶和华是创造万物的，我是独自展开诸天，铺张大地的。
25who frustrates the signs of the liars, and makes diviners mad; who turns wise men backward, and makes their knowledge foolish;
25我使说假话者的兆头失效，使占卜者都变成愚昧人；我使有智慧的人后退，使他们的知识变为愚拙。
26who confirms the word of his servant, and performs the counsel of his messengers; who says of Jerusalem, ‘She will be inhabited;’ and of the cities of Judah, ‘They will be built,’ and ‘I will raise up its waste places;’
26我使我仆人的话实现，使我使者的谋算成就。我对耶路撒冷说：‘你必有人居住。’对犹大的城镇说：‘你们要再被建造起来，至于其中的废墟，我必重建它们。’
27who says to the deep, ‘Be dry,’ and ‘I will dry up your rivers;’
27我对深渊说：‘你干了吧，我必使你的江河干涸！’
28Who says of Cyrus, ‘He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure,’ even saying of Jerusalem, ‘She will be built;’ and of the temple, ‘Your foundation will be laid.’”
28我对古列说：‘我的牧人；他必成就我所喜悦的一切。’他要对耶路撒冷说：‘你必被重建起来！’他必对圣殿说：‘你的根基要奠定！’”
