1“Sing, barren, you who didn’t bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you who did not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife,” says Yahweh.
1耶和华对以色列的爱不能生育、没有生养过孩子的啊！你要欢呼。没有生产过的啊！你要发声欢呼，高声呼喊。因为弃妇比有夫之妇有更多儿子。这是耶和华说的。
2“Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of your habitations; don’t spare: lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.
2要扩张你帐幕的地方，伸展你居所的幔子，不要限制；要拉长你的绳索，坚固你的橛子。
3For you shall spread out on the right hand and on the left; and your seed shall possess the nations, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
3因为你要向南向北扩展，你的后裔必占有列国之地，又使荒废了的城镇有人居住。
4“Don’t be afraid; for you shall not be ashamed: neither be confounded; for you shall not be disappointed: for you shall forget the shame of your youth; and the reproach of your widowhood you shall remember no more.
4不要惧怕，因为你必不致蒙羞；也不要抱愧，因为你必不致受辱，你必忘记你幼年时的羞愧，也不再记念你寡居时的耻辱。
5For your Maker is your husband; Yahweh of Armies is his name: and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; the God of the whole earth shall he be called.
5因为造你的，就是你的丈夫；万军之耶和华是他的名；救赎你的，就是以色列的圣者；他被称为全地的 神。
6For Yahweh has called you as a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, even a wife of youth, when she is cast off,” says your God.
6因为耶和华召唤你，如同召唤被离弃、心灵忧伤的妻子，就是幼年时所娶却被弃绝的妻子；这是你的 神说的。
7“For a small moment have I forsaken you; but with great mercies will I gather you.
7我只是暂时离弃你，却以极大的怜悯把你招聚回来。
8In overflowing wrath I hid my face from you for a moment; but with everlasting loving kindness will I have mercy on you,” says Yahweh your Redeemer.
8在怒气涨溢的时候，我暂时向你掩面，却要以永远的慈爱怜悯你；这是耶和华你的救赎主说的。
9“For this is like the waters of Noah to me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah shall no more go over the earth, so have I sworn that I will not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.
9这事对我就好像挪亚时代的洪水一般；我怎样起誓不再使挪亚时代的洪水漫过大地，我也照样起誓不向你发怒，也不斥责你。
10For the mountains may depart, and the hills be removed; but my loving kindness shall not depart from you, neither shall my covenant of peace be removed,” says Yahweh who has mercy on you.
10虽然大山可以挪开，小山可以迁移，但我的慈爱必不从你身上挪开，我和平的约也必不迁移；这是怜悯你的耶和华说的。
11“You afflicted, tossed with storms, and not comforted, behold, I will set your stones in beautiful colors, and lay your foundations with sapphires.
11耶路撒冷将来的景况受困苦、被风飘荡、不得安慰的啊！你看，我要用彩色的石头安置你的基石，以蓝宝石奠定你的根基。
12I will make your pinnacles of rubies, and your gates of sparkling jewels, and all your walls of precious stones.
12又用红宝石做你的城楼，用红玉做你的城门，用各种宝石做你四周的围墙。
13All your children shall be taught of Yahweh; and great shall be the peace of your children.
13你所有的儿女都必受耶和华的教导，你的儿女必大享平安。
14In righteousness you shall be established: you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not be afraid; and from terror, for it shall not come near you.
14你必因公义得以坚立；你必远离欺压，你必无所惧怕；你也必远离惊吓，因为惊吓必不会临近你。
15Behold, they may gather together, but not by me: whoever shall gather together against you shall fall because of you.
15看哪！必有人起来攻击你，但那不是出于我；攻击你的，必因你仆倒。
16“Behold, I have created the smith who blows the fire of coals, and brings forth a weapon for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
16看哪！那吹炭火、打造出合用武器的铁匠，是我创造的；那残害人、行毁灭的，也是我创造的。
17No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of Yahweh, and their righteousness which is of me,” says Yahweh.
17为攻击你而制成的武器，都没有效用；在审判的时候兴起来与你争辩的舌头，你都必定它为有罪。这是耶和华众仆人的产业，他们的义是从我而得；这是耶和华说的。
