1At that time, says Yahweh, they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves;
1犹大全国昏庸必遭灾祸
2and they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the army of the sky, which they have loved, and which they have served, and after which they have walked, and which they have sought, and which they have worshiped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried, they shall be for dung on the surface of the earth.
2拋散在太阳、月亮和天上的万象之下，就是他们从前所爱慕、服事、跟随、求问、敬拜的。这些骸骨必不再被收殓埋葬，必在地面上成为粪肥。
3Death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue that remain of this evil family, that remain in all the places where I have driven them, says Yahweh of Armies.
3这邪恶的家族剩下的余民，在我驱逐他们到的各地，宁可选择死，也不要存活。”这是万军之耶和华的宣告。
4Moreover you shall tell them, Thus says Yahweh: Shall men fall, and not rise up again? Shall one turn away, and not return?
4“你要对他们说：‘耶和华这样说：人跌倒了，不再起来吗？人偏离了，不再回转吗？
5Why then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return.
5这人民为什么背道，耶路撒冷为什么长久偏离？他们定意行诡诈，不肯回转。
6I listened and heard, but they didn’t speak aright: no man repents him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? everyone turns to his course, as a horse that rushes headlong in the battle.
6我留心听，但他们都不说真实的话。没有人为自己的恶行后悔，说：“我究竟作了什么？”他们各人继续走自己偏差的路，像战马直冲入战场。
7Yes, the stork in the sky knows her appointed times; and the turtledove and the swallow and the crane observe the time of their coming; but my people don’t know Yahweh’s law.
7连空中的鹳鸟也知道自己来去的季候；斑鸠、燕子和白鹤也谨守迁移的时令；我的子民却不晓得耶和华的法则。
8How do you say, We are wise, and the law of Yahweh is with us? But, behold, the false pen of the scribes has worked falsely.
8你们怎可以说：“我们是智慧人，我们有耶和华的律法”呢？事实上，经学家虚假的笔已把律法变成谎言了。
9The wise men are disappointed, they are dismayed and taken: behold, they have rejected the word of Yahweh; and what kind of wisdom is in them?
9智慧人必蒙羞，惊惶失措。看哪！他们弃绝了耶和华的话，他们还有什么智慧呢？
10Therefore will I give their wives to others, and their fields to those who shall possess them: for everyone from the least even to the greatest is given to covetousness; from the prophet even to the priest every one deals falsely.
10因此，我必把他们的妻子给别人，把他们的田地给别的主人，因为他们从最小的到最大的，个个都贪图不义之财；从先知到祭司，全都行事诡诈。
11They have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.
11他们草率地医治我子民（“我子民”原文作“我子民的女子”）的损伤，说：“平安了！平安了！”其实没有平安。’
12Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among those who fall; in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, says Yahweh.
12耶和华说：‘他们行了可憎的事，本应觉得羞愧，可是他们一点羞愧都没有，恬不知耻。因此他们必仆倒在倒下的人中间；我惩罚他们的时候，他们必倒下来。
13I will utterly consume them, says Yahweh: no grapes shall be on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall fade; and the things that I have given them shall pass away from them.
13我要彻底除掉他们的庄稼；葡萄树上必没有葡萄，无花果树上必没有无花果，叶子也必枯干。我赐给他们的，都离开他们过去了。’”这是耶和华的宣告。
14Why do we sit still? Assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the fortified cities, and let us be silent there; for Yahweh our God has put us to silence, and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against Yahweh.
14我们为什么坐着不动呢？你们要集合起来，我们要进入坚固的城里去，在那里灭亡吧！因为耶和华我们的 神要我们灭亡，又把毒水给我们喝，因我们得罪了耶和华。
15We looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of healing, and behold, dismay!
15我们期待平安，却得不到好处；期待得医治的时候，不料，只有惊慌。
16The snorting of his horses is heard from Dan: at the sound of the neighing of his strong ones the whole land trembles; for they have come, and have devoured the land and all that is in it; the city and those who dwell therein.
16从但那里听见敌人战马的喷气声，全地因听见壮马的嘶鸣声震动。他们来是要吞灭土地和地上所有的，要吞灭城和城中的居民。
17For, behold, I will send serpents, adders, among you, which will not be charmed; and they shall bite you, says Yahweh.
17“看哪！我要打发毒蛇到你们中间，是没有法术能制伏的，它们必咬你们。”这是耶和华的宣告。
18Oh that I could comfort myself against sorrow! My heart is faint within me.
18我的愁苦无法医治（本句按照《马索拉抄本》意思难确定；现参照《七十士译本》翻译），我的心在我里面悲痛欲绝。
19Behold, the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people from a land that is very far off: isn’t Yahweh in Zion? Isn’t her King in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their engraved images, and with foreign vanities?
19听啊！我同胞（“同胞”原文作“人民的女子”）的呼救声，从遥远之地传来：“耶和华不在锡安吗？锡安的王不在其中吗？”“他们为什么以自己雕刻的偶像，和列国虚无的偶像，来惹我发怒呢？”
20The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.
20“收割期已过，夏天也结束；但我们仍未获救。”
21For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt: I mourn; dismay has taken hold on me.
21因着我的同胞（“同胞”原文作“人民的女子”）被压碎，我的心破碎了；我悲伤痛哭，惊慌抓住了我。
22Is there no balm in Gilead? is there no physician there? why then isn’t the health of the daughter of my people recovered?
22难道基列没有乳香吗？难道那里没有医生吗？我的同胞（“同胞”原文作“人民的女子”）为什么总不痊愈呢？
