1Yahweh, you God to whom vengeance belongs, you God to whom vengeance belongs, shine forth.
1 神必为义人伸冤灭绝恶人耶和华啊！你是伸冤的 神；伸冤的 神啊！求你显出荣光。
2Rise up, you judge of the earth. Pay back the proud what they deserve.
2审判大地的主啊！求你起来，使骄傲的人得到应得的报应。
3Yahweh, how long will the wicked, how long will the wicked triumph?
3耶和华啊！恶人得意要到几时呢？恶人欢乐要到几时呢？
4They pour out arrogant words. All the evildoers boast.
4他们不住地说骄傲的话，所有作孽的人都夸耀自己。
5They break your people in pieces, Yahweh, and afflict your heritage.
5耶和华啊！他们欺压你的子民，苦害你的产业。
6They kill the widow and the alien, and murder the fatherless.
6他们杀死寡妇和寄居的，又杀害孤儿。
7They say, “Yah will not see, neither will Jacob’s God consider.”
7他们还说：“耶和华必看不见，雅各的 神并不留意。”
8Consider, you senseless among the people; you fools, when will you be wise?
8民间的愚昧人哪！你们要留心；愚顽人哪！你们要到几时才能明白呢？
9He who implanted the ear, won’t he hear? He who formed the eye, won’t he see?
9那造耳朵的，自己不能听见吗？那造眼睛的，自己不能看见吗？
10He who disciplines the nations, won’t he punish? He who teaches man knows.
10那管教万国的，不施行审判吗？那教导人的，自己没有知识吗？
11Yahweh knows the thoughts of man, that they are futile.
11耶和华知道人的意念是虚妄的。
12Blessed is the man whom you discipline, Yah, and teach out of your law;
12耶和华啊！你所管教，用律法教导的人，是有福的。
13that you may give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit is dug for the wicked.
13在患难的日子，你使他得享平安，直到为恶人所预备的坑挖好了。
14For Yahweh won’t reject his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
14因为耶和华必不丢弃他的子民，必不离弃他的产业。
15For judgment will return to righteousness. All the upright in heart shall follow it.
15因为审判必再转向公义，所有心里正直的都必顺从。
16Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will stand up for me against the evildoers?
16谁肯为我起来攻击作恶的人呢？谁肯为我挺身而起对抗作孽的人呢？
17Unless Yahweh had been my help, my soul would have soon lived in silence.
17如果不是耶和华帮助我，我早就不在人世了（“我早就不在人世了”原文作“我早就住在寂静中”）。
18When I said, “My foot is slipping!” Your loving kindness, Yahweh, held me up.
18我说：“我失了脚”，耶和华啊！那时你的慈爱就扶持我。
19In the multitude of my thoughts within me, your comforts delight my soul.
19我心里充满忧虑的时候，你就安慰我，使我的心欢乐。
20Shall the throne of wickedness have fellowship with you, which brings about mischief by statute?
20凭着律例制造奸恶，借着权位行毁灭的，怎能和你相交呢？
21They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
21他们集结起来攻击义人，把无辜的人定了死罪。
22But Yahweh has been my high tower, my God, the rock of my refuge.
22但耶和华作了我的高台，我的 神作了我避难的磐石。
23He has brought on them their own iniquity, and will cut them off in their own wickedness. Yahweh, our God, will cut them off.
23他必使他们的罪孽归到他们身上，他必因他们的罪恶灭绝他们；耶和华我们的 神必把他们灭绝。
