1Yahweh said to Noah, “Come with all of your household into the ship, for I have seen your righteousness before me in this generation.
1وقال الرب لنوح ادخل انت وجميع بيتك الى الفلك. لاني اياك رأيت بارا لديّ في هذا الجيل.
2You shall take seven pairs of every clean animal with you, the male and his female. Of the animals that are not clean, take two, the male and his female.
2من جميع البهائم الطاهرة تأخذ معك سبعة سبعة ذكرا وانثى. ومن البهائم التي ليست بطاهرة اثنين ذكرا وانثى.
3Also of the birds of the sky, seven and seven, male and female, to keep seed alive on the surface of all the earth.
3ومن طيور السماء ايضا سبعة سبعة ذكرا وانثى. لاستبقاء نسل على وجه كل الارض.
4In seven days, I will cause it to rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights. Every living thing that I have made, I will destroy from the surface of the ground.”
4لاني بعد سبعة ايام ايضا امطر على الارض اربعين يوما واربعين ليلة. وامحو عن وجه الارض كل قائم عملته.
5Noah did everything that Yahweh commanded him.
5ففعل نوح حسب كل ما امره به الرب
6Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters came on the earth.
6ولما كان نوح ابن ست مئة سنة صار طوفان الماء على الارض.
7Noah went into the ship with his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives, because of the waters of the flood.
7فدخل نوح وبنوه وامرأته ونساء بنيه معه الى الفلك من وجه مياه الطوفان.
8Clean animals, animals that are not clean, birds, and everything that creeps on the ground
8ومن البهائم الطاهرة والبهائم التي ليست بطاهرة ومن الطيور وكل ما يدبّ على الارض
9went by pairs to Noah into the ship, male and female, as God commanded Noah.
9دخل اثنان اثنان الى نوح الى الفلك ذكرا وانثى. كما امر الله نوحا
10It happened after the seven days, that the waters of the flood came on the earth.
10وحدث بعد السبعة الايام ان مياه الطوفان صارت على الارض.
11In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on the same day all the fountains of the great deep were burst open, and the sky’s windows were opened.
11في سنة ست مئة من حياة نوح في الشهر الثاني في اليوم السابع عشر من الشهر في ذلك اليوم انفجرت كل ينابيع الغمر العظيم وانفتحت طاقات السماء.
12The rain was on the earth forty days and forty nights.
12وكان المطر على الارض اربعين يوما واربعين ليلة.
13In the same day Noah, and Shem, Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, entered into the ship;
13في ذلك اليوم عينه دخل نوح وسام وحام ويافث بنو نوح وامرأة نوح وثلث نساء بنيه معهم الى الفلك.
14they, and every animal after its kind, all the livestock after their kind, every creeping thing that creeps on the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind, every bird of every sort.
14هم وكل الوحوش كاجناسها وكل البهائم كاجناسها وكل الدبابات التي تدب على الارض كاجناسها وكل الطيور كاجناسها كل عصفور كل ذي جناح.
15They went to Noah into the ship, by pairs of all flesh with the breath of life in them.
15ودخلت الى نوح الى الفلك اثنين اثنين من كل جسد فيه روح حياة.
16Those who went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God commanded him; and Yahweh shut him in.
16والداخلات دخلت ذكرا وانثى من كل ذي جسد كما امره الله. واغلق الرب عليه
17The flood was forty days on the earth. The waters increased, and lifted up the ship, and it was lifted up above the earth.
17وكان الطوفان اربعين يوما على الارض. وتكاثرت المياه ورفعت الفلك. فارتفع عن الارض.
18The waters prevailed, and increased greatly on the earth; and the ship floated on the surface of the waters.
18وتعاظمت المياه وتكاثرت جدا على الارض. فكان الفلك يسير على وجه المياه.
19The waters prevailed exceedingly on the earth. All the high mountains that were under the whole sky were covered.
19وتعاظمت المياه كثيرا جدا على الارض. فتغطت جميع الجبال الشامخة التي تحت كل السماء.
20The waters prevailed fifteen cubits upward, and the mountains were covered.
20خمس عشرة ذراعا في الارتفاع تعاظمت المياه. فتغطت الجبال.
21All flesh died that moved on the earth, including birds, livestock, animals, every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every man.
21فمات كل ذي جسد كان يدبّ على الارض. من الطيور والبهائم والوحوش وكل الزحّافات التي كانت تزحف على الارض وجميع الناس.
22All in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, of all that was on the dry land, died.
22كل ما في انفه نسمة روح حياة من كل ما في اليابسة مات.
23Every living thing was destroyed that was on the surface of the ground, including man, livestock, creeping things, and birds of the sky. They were destroyed from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those who were with him in the ship.
23فمحا الله كل قائم كان على وجه الارض. الناس والبهائم والدبّابات وطيور السماء. فانمحت من الارض. وتبقّى نوح والذين معه في الفلك فقط.
24The waters prevailed on the earth one hundred fifty days.
24وتعاظمت المياه على الارض مئة وخمسين يوما
