1Praise Yah! Psalm 112 is an acrostic poem, with each verse after the initial “Praise Yah!” starting with a letter of the alphabet (ordered from Alef to Tav). Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh, who delights greatly in his commandments.
1هللويا. طوبى للرجل المتقي الرب المسرور جدا بوصاياه.
2His seed will be mighty in the land. The generation of the upright will be blessed.
2نسله يكون قويا في الارض. جيل المستقيمين يبارك.
3Wealth and riches are in his house. His righteousness endures forever.
3رغد وغنى في بيته وبره قائم الى الابد.
4Light dawns in the darkness for the upright, gracious, merciful, and righteous.
4نور اشرق في الظلمة للمستقيمين. هو حنّان ورحيم وصديق
5It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends. He will maintain his cause in judgment.
5سعيد هو الرجل الذي يترأف ويقرض. يدبر اموره بالحق.
6For he will never be shaken. The righteous will be remembered forever.
6لانه لا يتزعزع الى الدهر. الصدّيق يكون لذكر ابدي.
7He will not be afraid of evil news. His heart is steadfast, trusting in Yahweh.
7لا يخشى من خبر سوء. قلبه ثابت متكلا على الرب.
8His heart is established. He will not be afraid in the end when he sees his adversaries.
8قلبه ممكن فلا يخاف حتى يرى بمضايقيه.
9He has dispersed, he has given to the poor. His righteousness endures forever. His horn will be exalted with honor.
9فرّق اعطى المساكين بره قائم الى الابد. قرنه ينتصب بالمجد.
10The wicked will see it, and be grieved. He shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away. The desire of the wicked will perish.
10الشرير يرى فيغضب. يحرق اسنانه ويذوب. شهوة الشرير تبيد
