1You therefore, my child, be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
1जहाँ तक तोहर बात बा, मोर बेटवा! मसीह ईसू मँ मिलइ वाली अनुग्रह स मजबूत होइ जा,
2The things which you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit the same to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.
2बहुत स लोगन क साच्छी मँ मोसे तू जउन कछु सुने अहा, ओका ओन बिसवास करइ जोग्ग मनइयन क सऊँप द्या जउन दुसरेउ केउ क भी सिच्छा देई मँ समर्थ होइ।
3You therefore must endure hardship, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.
3जउन यातना सबइ आवइँ ओनका मिलकर सामना करा। जातना झेलई मँ मसीह ईसू क एक अच्छा सैनिक क समान सेवा करत रहा।
4No soldier on duty entangles himself in the affairs of life, that he may please him who enrolled him as a soldier.
4अइसे सबहिं जउन सैनिक क समान सेवा करत हीं अपने आप क साधारण जीवन क जंजाल मँ नाहीं फँसउतेन काहेकि उ अपने सासक अधिकरियन क खुस करई क बरे कोसिस करत रहत हीं।
5Also, if anyone competes in athletics, he isn’t crowned unless he has competed by the rules.
5अउर अइसेनइ अगर केउ कीहीउ दउड़इ वाली प्रतियोगितन मँ हींसा लेत ह अउर नियमन क नमाइन, तउ ओका विजय क मुकुट ओह समइ तलक नाहीं मिलत, जब तलक कि उ नियमन क पालन करत करत प्रतियोगितन मँ भाग नाहीं लेत।
6The farmers who labor must be the first to get a share of the crops.
6किसान जो मेहनत करत ह इ उपज क सबसे पहिला भाग पावइ क अधिकारी अहइ।
7Consider what I say, and may the Lord give you understanding in all things.
7मइँ जउन बताइत हउँ: ओह प बिचार करा। पर्भू तोहे सब कछू समझइ क छमता प्रदान करी।
8Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, of the seed of David, according to my Good News,
8मसीह इसू क खियाल करत रहा जउन मरे हुअन मँ स फिन स जिन्दा होइ उठा ह अउर जउन दाऊद क बंसज अहइ। इहइ ओह सुसमाचार क सार अहइ जेकर मइँ उपदेस देत हउँ
9in which I suffer hardship to the point of chains as a criminal. But God’s word isn’t chained.
9इही बरे मइँ जातना झेलत अहउँ। इहाँ तलक कि एक अपराधी क नाई मोका जंजीरन स जकड़ दीन्ह गवा बा। परन्तु परमेस्सर क बचन तउ बन्धन रहित बा।
10Therefore I endure all things for the chosen ones’ sake, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
10इही कारण परमेस्सर क चुना गवा लोगन के बरे मइँ हर दुख उठावत रहत हउँ ताकि उ पचे भी ईसू मसीह मँ मिलइ वाली महिमामयी अउर अनन्त उद्धार क साथे मिलि सकइँ।
11This saying is faithful: “For if we died with him, we will also live with him.
11इ बचन बिसवासे क जोग्ग अहइ किः अगर हम ओकरे साथे मरा हई, तउ उही क साथे जिउब,
12If we endure, we will also reign with him. If we deny him, he also will deny us.
12अगर हम दुख स्वीकार करत अही। त ओकरे साथे सासन भी करब। अगर हम ओका छोड़ तजबइ, तउ तजि देइ उहउ हमका,
13If we are faithless, he remains faithful. He can’t deny himself.”
13हम चाहे बिसवास हीन होइ, प उ बिसवासी हमेसा-हमेसा बिसवास योग्य बना रही काहेकि नाहीं होइ सकत उ आतिमा निसेधी मिथ्यवादी, अपनेन ही बरे।
14Remind them of these things, charging them in the sight of the Lord, that they don’t argue about words, to no profit, to the subverting of those who hear.
14लोगन क इन बातन क धियान देवावत रहा अउर परमेस्सर क साच्छी कइके ओन्हे सावधान करत रहा कि उ सब्दन क लइक लड़ाई झगड़ा न करा। अइसेन लड़ाई-झगड़ा स कउनउ लाभ नाहीं होत, बल्कि एनका जे सुनत हीं, उहउ का नस्ट कर देत ह।
15Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth.
15अपने आप क परमेस्सर द्वारा ग्रहण करइ जोग्ग बनाइके एक अइसे सेवक क रूप मँ पेस करइ क यत्न करत रहा जेहसे कउनउ बात क बरे सरमाई क जरूरत न होइ। अउर जउन परमेस्सर क सत्य बचन क सही ढंग स उपयोग करत ह।
16But shun empty chatter, for it will go further in ungodliness,
16अउर अधार्मिक अउर अर्थहीन बातन स बचा रहत ह काहेकि इ बात लोगन क परमेस्सर स बहुत दूर लइ जात ह।
17and those words will consume like gangrene, of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
17अइसेन लोगन क सिच्छा नासूर क तरह फइले। हुमिनयुस अउर फिलेतुस अइसेन ही अहइँ।
18men who have erred concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already past, and overthrowing the faith of some.
18जउन सच्ची सिच्छा स भटकि गवा हयेन। ओनकर कहब बा कि पुरूत्थान अब तलक होइ चुका बा। इ सबइ कछू लोगन क बिसवास क खराब करत हयेन।
19However God’s firm foundation stands, having this seal, “The Lord knows those who are his,” Numbers 16:5 and, “Let every one who names the name of the Lord TR reads “Christ” instead of “the Lord” depart from unrighteousness.”
19कछू भी होइ परमेस्सर तउ जेह केतॅना ही मजबूत नींव क डाए अहइ, उ मजबूती क साथे खड़ी बा। ओह प अंकित बा, “पर्भू अपने भक्तन क जानत ह” अउर “उ हर एक, जउन कहत ह कि उ पर्भू क अहइ ओका दुस्टता स बचा रहइ चाही।”
20Now in a large house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of clay. Some are for honor, and some for dishonor.
20एक बड़ाके घरे मँ बस सोना-चाँदी क ही बर्तन त नाहीं होत हीं, ओहमाँ लकड़ी अउर मिट्टी क बरतन भी होत हीं। कछू विसेस उपयोग क बरे होत हीं अउर कछू साधारण उपयोग क बरे।
21If anyone therefore purges himself from these, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, and suitable for the master’s use, prepared for every good work.
21इही बरे अगर आदमी अपने आपके बुराइयन स साफ कइ लेत ह तउ उ विसेस उपयोग क बनी ह। अउर फिन पवित्तर बनिके अपने सुवामी क बरे उपयोगी सिद्ध होई। अउर कउनउ अच्छा कामे क बरे तइयार रही।
22Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
22जवानी क बुरी इच्छन स दूर रहा, धार्मिक जीवन, बिसवास, पिरेम अउर सान्ति क बरे ओन्हन सब क साथे जउन सुद्ध मने स पर्भू बिसवास करत हीं, पुकारत हीं, कोसिस करत रहा।
23But refuse foolish and ignorant questionings, knowing that they generate strife.
23मूर्खता स भरा, बेकार क तर्क बितर्क स हमेसा बचा रहा। काहेकि तू जानत ह कि एनसे लड़ाई-झगड़ा पैदा होत ह।
24The Lord’s servant must not quarrel, but be gentle towards all, able to teach, patient,
24अउर पर्भू क सेवक क तउ झगड़इ न चाही। ओका तउ सब प द्या करइ चाही ओका सिच्छा देइ मँ जोग्ग होइ चाही। ओका सहनसील होइ चाही।
25in gentleness correcting those who oppose him: perhaps God may give them repentance leading to a full knowledge of the truth,
25ओका अपने विरोधियन क भी विनम्रता क साथे समझइ चाही और परमेस्सर ओनका हिरदइ बदल देइ ताकि ओनका सत्य क गियान होइ जाइ
26and they may recover themselves out of the devil’s snare, having been taken captive by him to his will.
26अउर उ सचेत होइ क सइतान क ओह फन्दा स बचि नकरइँ जेहमाँ सइतान ओनका जकड़ी रखे बाटइ ताकि उ पचे परमेस्सर क इच्छा क अनुसरण कइ सकइँ।
