1When Jesus had spoken these words, he went out with his disciples over the brook Kidron, where there was a garden, into which he and his disciples entered.
1इ कहिकि ईसू अपने चेलन क साथ छोटी नदी किद्रोन क पास जहाँ एक बगीचा रहा, चला गवा।
2Now Judas, who betrayed him, also knew the place, for Jesus often met there with his disciples.
2धोखे स ओका पकड़वावइवाला यहूदा उ जगह क जानत रहा, काहेकि ईसू जियादातर उहइ जगह प अपने चेलन स मिलत रहा।
3Judas then, having taken a detachment of soldiers and officers from the chief priests and the Pharisees, came there with lanterns, torches, and weapons.
3इ बरे यहूदा रोमी सिपाहिअन क एक टुकड़ी अउर मुख्य याजकन अउर परीसियन क पठएस। मनइयन अउर मन्दिर क पहरेदारन क साथ लइके मसाल, दिया अउर हथिआर लइके, हुवाँ पहुँच गवा।
4Jesus therefore, knowing all the things that were happening to him, went forth, and said to them, “Who are you looking for?”
4फिन ईसू जउन सब कछू जानत रहा कि ओकरे साथ का होइ जात अहइ, आगे आवा अउर ओनसे कहेस, “तू पचे केका खोजत अहा?”
5They answered him, “Jesus of Nazareth.” Jesus said to them, “I am he.” Judas also, who betrayed him, was standing with them.
5उ पचे ओका जवाब दिहेन, “ईसू नासरी क।” ईसू ओनसे कहेस, “उ तउ मइँ अही।” (उ धोखे स पकड़वावइला यहूदी हुवइँ ओनके साथ खड़ा रहा।)
6When therefore he said to them, “I am he,” they went backward, and fell to the ground.
6जब उ कहेस, “उ मइँ अहउँ।” तउ उ सबेन्ह पाछे हटेन अउर भुइँया पइ गिर पड़ेन।
7Again therefore he asked them, “Who are you looking for?” They said, “Jesus of Nazareth.”
7इ देखके ईसू फिन एक बार पूछेस, “तू सबेन्ह केका खोजन अहा?” उ बोलन, “ईसू नासरी क।”
8Jesus answered, “I told you that I am he. If therefore you seek me, let these go their way,”
8ईसू जवाब दिहेस, “मइँ तोहसे कहउँ, उ मइँ अहउँ। जदि तू मोका ढूँढ़त अहा तउ एनका सबेन्ह क जाइ द्या।”
9that the word might be fulfilled which he spoke, “Of those whom you have given me, I have lost none.” John 6:39
9अइसा ईसू इ बरे कहेस, जइसे कि ओकर कही बात सच होइ सकइ, “मइँ ओहमाँ स कउनो क नाहीं खोवा, जेका तू मोका सौंपे रह्या।”
10Simon Peter therefore, having a sword, drew it, and struck the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.
10फिन समौन पतरस जेकरे हाथे मँ तरवार रही, आपन तरवार निकारेस अउर मुख्ययाजक क दास क दाहिना कान काटिके ओका घायल कइ दिहेस (उ दास क नाउँ मलखुस रहा)
11Jesus therefore said to Peter, “Put the sword into its sheath. The cup which the Father has given me, shall I not surely drink it?”
11फिन ईसू पतरस कहेस, “आपन तरवार मिआन मँ धइ ल्या। का मइँ यातना क कटोरा न पी लेई जउन परमपिता मोका दिहे अहइ?”
12So the detachment, the commanding officer, and the officers of the Jews, seized Jesus and bound him,
12फिन रोमी टुकड़ी क सिपाहियन अउर ओनके सूबेदारन, अउर यहूदियन क मन्दिर क पहरेदार सब मिलके ईसू क बन्दी बनाइ लिहेन्ह।
13and led him to Annas first, for he was father-in-law to Caiaphas, who was high priest that year.
13अउर ओका बांधके पहिले हन्ना क पास लइ गएन, जउन कि उ बरिस क मुख्य याजक काइफा क ससुर रहा।
14Now it was Caiaphas who advised the Jews that it was expedient that one man should perish for the people.
14इ काइफा उहइ मनई अहइ जउन यहूदी क सलाह दिहे रहा। कि लोगन क भलाई क बरे एक क मर जाब ठीक अहइ।
15Simon Peter followed Jesus, as did another disciple. Now that disciple was known to the high priest, and entered in with Jesus into the court of the high priest;
15समौन पतरस अउर एक ठु चेलन ईसू क पीछे चल दिहेन्ह। मुख्य याजक इ चेलन क अच्छी तरह जानत रहा, इ बरे उ ईसू क साथ मुख्य याजक क अंगने मँ घुस गवा।
16but Peter was standing at the door outside. So the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out and spoke to her who kept the door, and brought in Peter.
16मुला पतरस बाहेर क दरवाजा क लगे रूक गवा। फिन मुख्य याजक क जान पहचानवाला दूसर चेला बाहेर गवा अउर द्धारपालिन स कहिके पतरस क अन्दर लइ आवा।
17Then the maid who kept the door said to Peter, “Are you also one of this man’s disciples?” He said, “I am not.”
17उ द्धारपालिन दासी पतरस स कहेस, “होइ सकत ह कि तूहूँ ईसू क चेला होआ?” पतरस जवाब दिहेस, “नाहीं, नाहीं मइँ न अही!”
18Now the servants and the officers were standing there, having made a fire of coals, for it was cold. They were warming themselves. Peter was with them, standing and warming himself.
18काहेकि सर्दी बहुत जिआदा रही अउर मन्दिर क पहरेदार आग जलाइ के हुआँ खड़ा तापत रहेन। पतरस उ हुवाँ खड़ा तापत रहा।
19The high priest therefore asked Jesus about his disciples, and about his teaching.
19फिन महायाजक ईसू स ओकरे चेलन अउर ओकरे उपदेस क बाबत पूछेस।
20Jesus answered him, “I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in synagogues, and in the temple, where the Jews always meet. I said nothing in secret.
20ईसू ओका जवाब दिहेस, “मइँ हमेसा सब मनइयन क खुलके बातचीत कीन्ह। मइँ हमेसा आराधनालय मँ अउर मन्दिर मँ जहाँ सब यहूदियन इकट्ठा होतहीं, उपदेस दीन्ह। मइँ कबहुँ लुकाइ क छिपाइ क कउनो बात नाहीं कहेउँ।
21 Why do you ask me? Ask those who have heard me what I said to them. Behold, these know the things which I said.”
21फिन तू मोसे काहे पूछत अहा? मइँ का कहेउँ, ओनसे पूछा जे मोर बात सुने अहइँ। मइँ जउऩ कछू कहेउँ, उ सब जानत हीं।”
22When he had said this, one of the officers standing by slapped Jesus with his hand, saying, “Do you answer the high priest like that?”
22जब उ इ कहेस तउ मन्दिर क एक पहरेदार जउन हुवाँ खड़ा रहा, ईसू क झापड़ मारेस अउर बोलेस, “महायाजक क सामने जवाब देइ क इ तरीका नाहीं अहइ?”
23Jesus answered him, “If I have spoken evil, testify of the evil; but if well, why do you beat me?”
23ईसू ओका जवाब दिहेस, “जब मइँ कउनो झूठ कहे होउँ तउ तू ओका साबित करा अउर इ बतावा कि ओहमाँ कउनो बुराई रही अउर जब मइँ ठीक कहे अहउँ तउ तू काहे मारत अहा?”
24Annas sent him bound to Caiaphas, the high priest.
24फिन हन्ना ओका बंधे भए महायाजक काइफा क लगे भेज दिहेस।
25Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. They said therefore to him, “You aren’t also one of his disciples, are you?” He denied it, and said, “I am not.”
25जब समौन पतरस खड़ा होइके आगी तापत रहा तउ ओसे पूछा गवा, “का इ होइ सकत ह कि तू भी एकर चेला अहा?” उ तुरन्तइ मना कइ दिहेस अउर कहेस, “नाहीं मइँ नाहीं अही।”
26One of the servants of the high priest, being a relative of him whose ear Peter had cut off, said, “Didn’t I see you in the garden with him?”
26महायाजक क एक ठु नउकर जउन ओकर रिस्तेदार रहा जेकर पतरस कान काटे रहा, कहेस, “बतावा, का मइँ तोहका ओकरे साथे बगिया मँ नाहीं देखे रहे?”
27Peter therefore denied it again, and immediately the rooster crowed.
27इ सुनिके पतरस एक दाईं फिन इन्कार किहेस। अउर उहइ समइ मुर्गा बाँग दिहेस।
28They led Jesus therefore from Caiaphas into the Praetorium. It was early, and they themselves didn’t enter into the Praetorium, that they might not be defiled, but might eat the Passover.
28फिन उ पचे ईसू क काइफा क घरे स रोम क राज्यपाल क महल मँ लइ गएन। ओह समइ सबेर होइ ग रहा। यहूदियन राज्यपाल क भवन मँ खुदइ नाहीं जावा चाहत रहेन, कहूँ उ पचे असुद्ध न होइ जाइँ। अउर फिन फसह क भोज न खाइ पावइँ।
29Pilate therefore went out to them, and said, “What accusation do you bring against this man?”
29तउ पिलातुस ओनके पास बाहेर आवा अउर बोला, “एकरे ऊपर तू सबेन्ह कउन दोख लगावत अहा?”
30They answered him, “If this man weren’t an evildoer, we wouldn’t have delivered him up to you.”
30जवाब मँ उ पचे ओसे कहेस, “जदि इ अपराधी न होत तउ हम ऍका तोहका न सौंपित।”
31Pilate therefore said to them, “Take him yourselves, and judge him according to your law.” Therefore the Jews said to him, “It is not lawful for us to put anyone to death,”
31एकरे जवाब मँ पिलातुस ओनसे कहेस, “ऍका तू लइ जा अउर अपने व्यवस्था क हिसाब स एकर निआव करा।” यहूदियन ओसे कहेन, “हमका सबेन्ह क मउत क सजा देइ क कउनो अधिकार नाहीं अहइ।”
32that the word of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spoke, signifying by what kind of death he should die.
32अइसा इ बरे भवा, जइसे कि ईसू क उ बात सच्ची होइ जाइ जउन उ कहे रहा, कइसी मउत मिली।
33Pilate therefore entered again into the Praetorium, called Jesus, and said to him, “Are you the King of the Jews?”
33तब पिलातुस राज्यपाल क महल मँ वापस चला गवा। अउर ईसू क बोलाइ क ओसे पूछेस, “का तू यहूदियन क राजा अह्या?”
34Jesus answered him, “Do you say this by yourself, or did others tell you about me?”
34ईसू जवाब दिहेस, इ बात तू खुदइ कहत अहा या मोरे बावत दूसर लोग तोहसे कहेन?”
35Pilate answered, “I’m not a Jew, am I? Your own nation and the chief priests delivered you to me. What have you done?”
35पिलातुस जवाब दिहेस, “का तू सोचत अहा कि मइँ यहूदी अहउँ? तोहार लोग अउर मुख्य याजक तोहका मोरे हवाले करे अहइँ। तू का किहे अहा?”
36Jesus answered, “My Kingdom is not of this world. If my Kingdom were of this world, then my servants would fight, that I wouldn’t be delivered to the Jews. But now my Kingdom is not from here.”
36ईसू जवाब दिहेस, “मोर राज्य इ दुनिया क नाहीं बाटइ। जदि मोर राज्य इ दुनिया क होत तउ मोर प्रजा मोका यहूदियन क सौंपा जाइ स बचावइ क बरे लड़ाई करत। मुला मोर राज्य हिआँ क नाहीं बाटइ।”
37Pilate therefore said to him, “Are you a king then?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this reason I have been born, and for this reason I have come into the world, that I should testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.”
37अइसा सुनिके पिलातुस ओसे कहेस, “तू तउ राजा अह्या?” ईसू जवाब दिहेस, “तू कहत अहा कि मइँ राजा अही। मइँ इ बरे दुनिया मँ पइदा भवा हउँ अउर आएउँ अउर इहइ प्रयोजन स आएउँ जइसे कि सच्चाई क साच्छी दइ सकउँ। जउऩ मनई सच्चाई क तरफदारी करत ह उ मोरी बात सुनत ह।”
38Pilate said to him, “What is truth?” When he had said this, he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, “I find no basis for a charge against him.
38पिलातुस ओसे पूछेस, “सच्चाई का अहइ?” अइसा कहिके फिन उ यहूदी क पास बाहेस गवा अउर ओनसे बोला, “मइँ ओकरे मँ कउनो दोख नाहीं पाएउँ।
39But you have a custom, that I should release someone to you at the Passover. Therefore do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?”
39अउ तोहार सबन्क रिवाज अहइ कि फसह क त्यौहार प तोहरे सबके बरे एक मनई क छोड़ देइ। तउ का तू पचे चाहत अहा कि इ ‘यहूदी क राजा’ क तोहरे बरे छोड़ देई?”
40Then they all shouted again, saying, “Not this man, but Barabbas!” Now Barabbas was a robber.
40एक दाईं फिन उ पचे चिल्लाएन, “ऍका नाहीं, मुला बरअब्बा (एक ठु बागी रहा।) क छोड़ द्या!”
