¹In that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?”

¹तब ईसू क चेलन ओकरे लगे आइके पूछेन, “सरगे क राज्य मँ सबते बड़कवा कउन अहइ?”

²Jesus called a little child to himself, and set him in their midst,

²उहइ घड़ी ईसू एक ठु गदेला क अपने लगे बोलॉएस अउर ओका ओकरे समन्वा खड़ा कइके

³and said, “Most certainly I tell you, unless you turn, and become as little children, you will in no way enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

³उ कहेस, “मइँ तोहसे सच कहत हउँ जब ताईं कि तू सबइ मनवा क फिरउब्या नाहीं अउर गदेलन क नाईं नाहीं बनि जाब्या, सरगे क राज्य मँ घुसि न सकब्या।

⁴ Whoever therefore humbles himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.

⁴एह बरे आपन खुद क जउन कउनो इ बचवा क नाईं आपन क नवावत ह, सरगे क राज्य मँ उहइ सबते बड़कवा अहइ।”

⁵ Whoever receives one such little child in my name receives me,

⁵“अउर जउन कउनो अइसे गदेलन जइसे मनई क मोरे नाउँ मँ मान लेत ह उ मोका मान लेत ह।

⁶ but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him that a huge millstone should be hung around his neck, and that he should be sunk in the depths of the sea.

⁶मुला जउन मोह मँ बिसवास करइया मोरे कउनो अइसे गदेला क रस्ते क रोड़ा बनि जात ह, नीक होइ कि ओकरे गटइया मँ एक ठु जाँत क पाट लटकाइके गहिरे समुद्दर मँ बोर दीन्ह जाइ।

⁷ “Woe to the world because of occasions of stumbling! For it must be that the occasions come, but woe to that person through whom the occasion comes!

⁷संसार क मनइयन बरे ठोकर क कारण मोका दुःख बाटइ मुला ठोकर तउ सदा आवत रइहीं। किंतु दुख तउ ओहॅ प अहइ जोकरे जरिये आइ जात हीं।

⁸ If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off, and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life maimed or crippled, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into the eternal fire.

⁸एह बरे तोहार हाथ या गोड़ तोहरे बरे मुसीबत बन जाइँ तउ ओका काटि के फेंक द्या काहेकि सरगे मँ बगैर हाथ या बे गोड़ क अनन्त जीवन मँ घुस जाइ पाउब तोहरे बरे जियादा नीक अहइ। ऍकरे बजाय कि दुइनउँ हाथ अउर गोड़वन क साथे तोहका नरके मँ न बुझइवाली आगी मँ नाइ दीन्ह जाइ।

⁹ If your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out, and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the Gehenna or, Hell of fire.

⁹जदि तोहार आँखी तोहरे बरे बियाध बन जाइ तउ तू ओका बाहेर निकारि क डाइ द्या, काहेकि सरगे मँ काना होइके अनन्त जीवन मँ घुसि पाउब तोहरे बरे जिआदा बढ़िया बा, बजाय ऍकर कि दुइनउँ आँखिन क संग तोहका नरके मँ डाइ दीन्ह जाइ।

¹⁰ See that you don’t despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.

¹⁰“तउ देखा, मोर ऍन गदेलन मँ स कउनो क तुच्छ जिन समइया। मइँ तोहका बतावत हउँ कि सरगे मँ बसइ मोरे परमपिता क लगे ओकर रच्छा करइवालन सरगदूतन क पहुँच सदा रहत ह।

¹¹ For the Son of Man came to save that which was lost.

¹¹मनई क पूत भटक गवा मनइयन क उद्धार बरे आइ अहइ।

¹² “What do you think? If a man has one hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine, go to the mountains, and seek that which has gone astray?

¹²“बतावा तू का गूंथत मथत अहा? जदि कउनो क लगे सौ भेड़ होइँ अउर ओहमाँ स एक भटक जाइ तउ का दूसर निन्नान्बे क पहड़िया प तजिके उ एक ठु भटक गई भेड़ क ढूँढ़इ न जाई?

¹³ If he finds it, most certainly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine which have not gone astray.

¹³अउर ओका उ मिल जाई मइँ तोहसे सच सच कहत हउँ कि निन्नान्बे क बजाय जउन खोई नाहीं रहिन, ओका पाइके खूब खुस होई।

¹⁴ Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.

¹⁴इ तरह सरगे मँ बसा तोहार परमपिता का नाहीं चाहत कि मोर इ अबोध चेलन मँ स कउनो एक भी भटकि जाइ।

¹⁵ “If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother.

¹⁵“जदि तोहार भाई तोहरे संग कउनो बुरा बेवहार करइ तउ अकेल्ॅले मँ जाइके आपुस मँ ही ओकर दोख बताइ द्या। जदि उ तोहार सुनि लेइ तउ तू आपन भाई क फिन जीत लिहा।

¹⁶ But if he doesn’t listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. Deuteronomy 19:15

¹⁶मुला जदि उ तोहार न सुनइ तउ एक दुइ क आपन संग लइ जा काहेकि हर बाते क दुइ तीन साच्छी होइ जाइ।

¹⁷ If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector.

¹⁷जदि उ ओनकी भी न सुनइ तउ कलीसिया क बताइ द्या। अउर जदि उ कलीसिया क भी न मानइ तउ फिन तू ओसे अइसा बेवहार करा जइसे उ विधर्मी होइ जाइ या चुंगी क उगहिया।

¹⁸ Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven.

¹⁸“मइँ तोहसे सच बतावत हउँ जउन कछू तू धरती प बँधब्या सरग मँ पर्भू क जरिये बाँधि दीन्ह जाई अउर जउन कउनो क तू धरती प न बँधब्या, ओका सरगे मँ परमेस्सर क जरिये न बान्धा जाई।

¹⁹ Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven.

¹⁹“मइँ तोहसे इ भी बतावत हउँ कि इ धरती प जदि तोहमाँ स कउनो दुइ क बिचार मेल खात होइँ तउ एक होइ क सरगे मँ मोरे परमपिता स कछू माँगब्या तउ उ तोहरे बरे ओका पूरा करी

²⁰ For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in their midst.”

²⁰काहेकि जहाँ मोरे नाउँ प दुइ या तीन मोरे मनवइयन क रूप मँ एकट्ठा होत हीं, हुवाँ मइँ ओनके संग हउँ।”

²¹Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?”

²¹फिन पतरस ईसू क लगे गवा अउर बोला, “पर्भू, मोका आपन भाई क केतॅनी दाईं आपन खिलाफ जुर्म करइ प छमा कइ देइ चाही? जदि उ सात दाई जुर्म करइ तउ भी?”

²²Jesus said to him, “I don’t tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.

²²ईसू कहेस, “न सिरिफ सात दाईं, मुला मइँ तोहसे बतावत हउँ तोहका ओका सतहत्तर दाईं तलक छमा करत जाइ चाही।”

²³ Therefore the Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king, who wanted to reconcile accounts with his servants.

²³“सरगे राज्य क तुलना ओ राजा स कीन्ह जाइ सकत ह जउन आपन नउकरन स हिसाब अदा करइ क बिचारे रहा।

²⁴ When he had begun to reconcile, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents. Ten thousand talents represents an extremely large sum of money, equivalent to about 60,000,000 denarii, where one denarius was typical of one day’s wages for agricultural labor.

²⁴जब उ हिसाब लेब सुरु करेस तउ ओकरे समन्वा एक अइसे मनई क लइ आवा गवा जेहॅ प दसउ लाख रुपया निकरत रहा।

²⁵ But because he couldn’t pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, with his wife, his children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

²⁵मुला ओकरे लगे चुकाइ देइ क कउनो उपाय नाहीं रहा। ओकर मालिक हुकुम दिहेस कि उ नउकर क, ओकर पत्नी, ओकर बाल बचवन अउर जउन कछू माल असबाब अहइ, सब समेट के बेचे स कर्ज अदा कइ दीन्ह जाइ।

²⁶ The servant therefore fell down and kneeled before him, saying, ‘Lord, have patience with me, and I will repay you all!’

²⁶“ऍह प ओकर नउकर ओकरे गोड़वा प गिरिके गिड़गिड़ाइ लाग, ‘धीरा धरा, मइँ सब कछू चुकाइ देइहउँ।”

²⁷ The lord of that servant, being moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.

²⁷तब जाइके मालिक क तरस आवा अउर ओकर कर्जा माफ कइ दिहस।

²⁸ “But that servant went out, and found one of his fellow servants, who owed him one hundred denarii, 100 denarii was about one sixtieth of a talent. and he grabbed him, and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’

²⁸“फिन जब उ नउकर हुवाँ स जात रहा तउ ओका ओकर एक साथी नउकर मिला जेका सउ दिनारी देइ क रहा। उ ओकर ढोंढ़ा पकड़िके गटइया क दबावत कहेस, ‘जउन तोहका मोर देइ क अहइ, लउटाइ द्या!’

²⁹ “So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will repay you!’

²⁹“ऍह प ओकर साथी नउकर गोड़वा प गिरि गवा अउर बीसउ नह जोड़ेस, ‘धीरा धरा, मइँ तोहका दइ देब।’

³⁰ He would not, but went and cast him into prison, until he should pay back that which was due.

³⁰“मुला उ मना कइ दिहस। ऍतना ही नाहीं उ ओका तब तलक बरे, जब तलक उ ओकर कर्ज अदा न कइ देइ, जेल मँ पठएस।

³¹ So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were exceedingly sorry, and came and told to their lord all that was done.

³¹दूसर संगी नउकरन देखेन कि का भवा, उ सबइ बहोत दुखी भएन। जउन कछू भवा रहा, सब आपन मालिक क जाइके बताइ दिहन।

³² Then his lord called him in, and said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt, because you begged me.

³²“तब ओकर मालिक ओका बोलाएस अउर कहेस, ‘अरे नीच नउकर, मइँ तोहार सारा कर्ज माफ कइ दिहउँ काहेकि तइ कहेस कि दाया क भीख द्या।

³³ Shouldn’t you also have had mercy on your fellow servant, even as I had mercy on you?’

³³का तोहका आपन संगी नउकर प दाया नाहीं करइ चाही जइसे मइँ तोह प दाया किहउँ?’

³⁴ His lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors, until he should pay all that was due to him.

³⁴तउ ओकर मालिक कोहाइ गवा अउर ओका तब ताईं सजा भुगतइ बरे सुपुर्द करेस जब ताईं समूचा कर्ज अदा न होइ जाइ।

³⁵ So my heavenly Father will also do to you, if you don’t each forgive your brother from your hearts for his misdeeds.”

³⁵“तउ जब तलक तू आपन भाई बंद क आपन मनवा स छमा नाहीं कइ दिहा मोर सरगे क परमपिता भी तोहरे साथ वइसा ही बेवहार करी।”
