¹I ask then, did God reject his people? May it never be! For I also am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

¹तउ मइँ पूछित हउँ, “का परमेस्सर अपने ही लोगन क नकार नाहीं दिहेस?” निस्चय ही नाहीं। काहेकि मइँ भी एक इस्राएली हउँ, इब्राहीम क बंस स अउर बिन्यामीन क परिवार स हउँ।

²God didn’t reject his people, which he foreknew. Or don’t you know what the Scripture says about Elijah? How he pleads with God against Israel:

²परमेस्सर अपने लोगन क नाहीं नकारेस जेनका उ पहिलेन स ही चुने रहा। या अउर का तू नाहीं जानत अहा कि एलिय्याह क बारे मँ पवित्तर सास्तर का कहत ह। जब एलिय्याह परमेस्सर स इस्राएल क लोगन क विरोध मँ पराथना करत रहा?

³“Lord, they have killed your prophets, they have broken down your altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.” 1 Kings 19:10,14

³“हे पर्भू, उ पचे नबियन क मार डाएन। तोहरे वेदियन क तोड़ी क गिराइ दिहेन। केवल एक नबी मइँ ही बचा हउँ अउर उ पचे मोका भी मारि डावइ क जतन करत अहइँ।”

⁴But how does God answer him? “I have reserved for myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” 1 Kings 19:18

⁴परन्तु तब परमेस्सर ओन्हे कइसेन उत्तर दिहे रहा, “मइँ अपने बरे 7,000 लोग बचाइ रखे हउँ जउन लोग बाल क आगे माथा नाहीं टेकेन।”

⁵Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

⁵तउन वइसेन ही आजु काल्हिउ कछू अइसेन लोग बचा बाटेन जउन ओनके अनुग्रह क कारण चुना भआ अहइँ।

⁶And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

⁶अउर अगर इ परमेस्सर क अनुग्रह क परिणाम अहइ तउ लोग जउन करम करत हीं, इ ओन्हन करमन क परिणाम नाहीं बा। नाहीं तउ परमेस्सर क अनुग्रह, अनुग्रह ही नाहीं ठहरत।

⁷What then? That which Israel seeks for, that he didn’t obtain, but the chosen ones obtained it, and the rest were hardened.

⁷तउ ऐहसे का? इस्राएल क लोग जेका खोजत रहन, उ सबइ ओका नाहीं पाइ सकेन। परन्तु चुना हुवन क उ मिलि गवा। जब कि बाकी सब क जड़ बनाइ दीन्ह गवा।

⁸According as it is written, “God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear, to this very day.” Deuteronomy 29:4; Isaiah 29:10

⁸पवित्तर सास्तरन कहत ह: “परमेस्सर तउ ओन्हे एक चेतन सून्य कइ दिहेस आतिमा प्रदान किहेस।” यसायाह 29:10 “अइसेन आँखी दिहेस जउन देखि नाहीं सकत रहिन अउ अइसेन कान दिहेस जउन सुन नाहीं सकत रहेन। अउर इहइ दसा ठीक आजु तलक बनी भई बा।” व्यवस्था विवरण 29:4

⁹David says, “Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, a stumbling block, and a retribution to them.

⁹दाऊद कहत ह: “अपनेन भोगन मँ फंसके उ बन्दी बन जाइँ ओनकर पतन होइ अउ ओनका दण्ड मिलइ।

¹⁰Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see. Bow down their back always.” Psalm 69:22,23

¹⁰ओनकर आँखी धुँधली होइ जाइँ ताकि उ पचे देख न सकइँ अउ तू ओनकर सब पीड़ाके तले, ओनकर करिहाउँ हमेसा-हमेसा निहुराए रखइ।” भजन संहिता 69:22-23

¹¹I ask then, did they stumble that they might fall? May it never be! But by their fall salvation has come to the Gentiles, to provoke them to jealousy.

¹¹तउ मइँ कहत का ओ पचे इही बरे ठोकर खाइके उ सब भहराइके नस्ट होइ जाइँ? निस्चय ही नाहीं। बल्कि ओनकर गलती करइ स गैर यहूदियन क छुटकारा मिला ताकि यहूदियन मँ स्पर्द्धा पैदा होइ।

¹²Now if their fall is the riches of the world, and their loss the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fullness?

¹²इही तरह अगर ओनकर गलती करइ क मतलब समूचइ संसार क बड़ा लाभ अहइ अउ अगर ओनके भटकइ स गैर यहूदियन क लाभ अहइ तउ ओनकइ पूरी तरह स संपूर्ण होए स बहुत कछू होइ।

¹³For I speak to you who are Gentiles. Since then as I am an apostle to Gentiles, I glorify my ministry;

¹³इ अब मइँ तोहसे कहत हउँ, जउन यहूदियन नाहीं होइँ काहेकि मइँ विसेस रूप स गैर यहूदियन क बरे प्रेरित हउँ, मइँ अपने काम क बरे पूरा प्रयत्नसील हउँ।

¹⁴if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh, and may save some of them.

¹⁴एह आसा स कि मइँ अपने लोगन मँ भी स्पर्द्धा जगाइ सकउँ अउ ओहमाँ स कछू क उद्धार करउँ।

¹⁵For if the rejection of them is the reconciling of the world, what would their acceptance be, but life from the dead?

¹⁵काहेकि अगर परमेस्सर क द्वार ओनके नकार दिहे जाइ स जगत मँ परमेस्सर क साथे मेलमिलाप पैदा होत ह तउ फिन ओनकर अपनावा जाब का मरा हुवन मँ स जियावा जाब न होइ?

¹⁶If the first fruit is holy, so is the lump. If the root is holy, so are the branches.

¹⁶अगर हमरी भेंट का एक पहला हिस्सा पवित्तर बा तउ का उ समूचइ पवित्तर नाहीं बा? अगर पेड़ का जड़ पवित्तर बा तउ ओकर सबइ साखा भी पवित्तर बाटिन।

¹⁷But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them, and became partaker with them of the root and of the richness of the olive tree;

¹⁷परन्तु अगर कछू साखा तोड़िके फेक दीन्ह गइन अउ तू जउन एक जंगली जैतून क टहनी अहा ओह पे पेबन्द चढ़ाइ दीन्ह जाइ अउ उ जैतून क अच्छा पेड़ का खुराक अउर आधार क हिस्सा बाँटइ लगइ। तू सबइ गैर यहूदियन जंगली साखा क तरह अहा अउर तू पचे पहिले पेड़ (यहूदी) क खुराक अउर जीवन बाँटत अहा।

¹⁸don’t boast over the branches. But if you boast, it is not you who support the root, but the root supports you.

¹⁸तउ तोहे ओन्हन टहनियन क आगे, जउन तोड़ी क फेंक दीन्ह गइन, अभिमान न करइ चाही। अउर अगर तू अभिमान करत ह तउ इ याद रखा इ तू नाहीं अहा जे जड़न क पालत बा, बल्कि इ तउ उ जड़ ही अहइ जउन तोहे पालत बाटइ।

¹⁹You will say then, “Branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.”

¹⁹अब तू कहब्या, “हाँ परन्तु सबइ साखा एह बरे तोड़ी गई कि मोर पेबन्द चढ़इ।”

²⁰True; by their unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by your faith. Don’t be conceited, but fear;

²⁰इ सत्य अहइ, उ सबइ अपने अबिसवास क कारण तोड़िके फेंक गइन परन्तु तु अपने बिसवास क बल पे आपन जगह टिका रह्या। इही बरे एकर गर्ब न करा बल्कि डेरात रहा।

²¹for if God didn’t spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you.

²¹अगर परमेस्सर प्राकृतिक डारन नाहीं रहइ दिहेस तउ उ तोहका भी न रहइ देइ।

²²See then the goodness and severity of God. Toward those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in his goodness; otherwise you also will be cut off.

²²इही बरे तू परमेस्सर क कोमलता क देखा, अउर ओकरे कठोरता प धियान द्या। इ कठोरता ओनके बरे बा जउन गिर गएन परन्तु ओकर करुणा तोहरे बरे बा अगर तू अपने पे ओकर अनुग्रह बना रहइ द्या। नाहीं तउ पेंड़े स तुहउँ काटिके फेंका जाब्या।

²³They also, if they don’t continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.

²³अउर अगर उ पचे अपने अबिसवास मँ नाहीं रहेन तउ ओनहूँ फिन पेड़ स जोड़ लीन्ह जाइ काहेकि परमेस्सर समर्थ अहइ कि ओनका फिन स जोड़ देइ।

²⁴For if you were cut out of that which is by nature a wild olive tree, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree, how much more will these, which are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

²⁴जब तोहे प्राकृतिक रूप स जंगली जैतून क पेड़े स एक साखा क तरह कटके प्रकृति क विरुद्ध एक अच्छा जैतून क पेड़े स जोड़ दीन्ह गवा, तउ उ जउन ओह पेड़े क अपना डारिन बाटिन, अपनेन ही पेड़ मँ आसानी स, फिन स काहे नाहीं जोड़ दीन्ह जा इहीं।

²⁵For I don’t desire you to be ignorant, brothers, The word for “brothers” here and where context allows may also be correctly translated “brothers and sisters” or “siblings.” of this mystery, so that you won’t be wise in your own conceits, that a partial hardening has happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in,

²⁵भाइयो तथा बहिनियो, मइँ तोहे इ छुपा हुआ सत्य स अंजान नाही रखइ चाहित। कि तू अपने आप क बुद्धिमान समझइ लागा। कि इस्राएल क कछू लोग अइसेन ही कठोर बनाइ दीन्ह गवा बाटेन। अउर अइसेनइ ही कठोर बना रइहीं जब तलक कि काफी गैर यहूदी लोग परमेस्सर क परिवार क अंग नाहीं बन जातेन।

²⁶and so all Israel will be saved. Even as it is written, “There will come out of Zion the Deliverer, and he will turn away ungodliness from Jacob.

²⁶अउर एह तरह समूचा इस्राएल क उद्धार होइ जइसेन कि पवित्तर सास्तरन कहत ह: “उद्धारकर्ता सिय्योन स आइ। उ याकूब क परिवार स सबहिन बुराइयन क दूर करी।

²⁷This is my covenant to them, when I will take away their sins.” Isaiah 59:20-21; 27:9; Jeremiah 31:33-34

²⁷मोर इ करार ओकरे साथे तब होइ जब मइँ ओनके पापन के हर लेब।” यसायाह 59:20-21; 27:9

²⁸Concerning the Good News, they are enemies for your sake. But concerning the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sake.

²⁸जहाँ तलक सुसमाचार क सम्बन्ध बा, उ तोहरे हिते मँ परमेस्सर क सत्रु अहइँ। परन्तु जहाँ तलक परमेस्सर क जरिये ओनके चुना जाइ क सम्बन्ध अहइ, उ पचे ओनके पूर्वजन क दिए भए बचन क अनुसार परमेस्सर क पियारा अहइँ।

²⁹For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

²⁹काहेकि परमेस्सर जेका बोलावत ह अउर जेका उ देत ह, ओकरे तरफ स अपन मन कभउँ नाहीं बदलत।

³⁰For as you in time past were disobedient to God, but now have obtained mercy by their disobedience,

³⁰काहेकि जइसेन तू लोग पहिले कभउँ परमेस्सर क आज्ञा नाहीं मानत रह्या परन्तु अब तोहे ओकर अवज्ञा क कारण परमेस्सर क द्या मिली बा।

³¹even so these also have now been disobedient, that by the mercy shown to you they may also obtain mercy.

³¹वइसेन ही अब उ पचे ओकर आज्ञा नाहीं मानतेन काहेकि परमेस्सर क द्या तोहे पे बा ताकि अब ओन्हे भी परमेस्सर क दया मिलइ।

³²For God has shut up all to disobedience, that he might have mercy on all.

³²काहेकि परमेस्सर सब जने के अवज्ञा क कारागार मँ इही बरे डारि रखे अहइ कि उ ओन सब पर दया देखॉय सकइ।

³³Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out!

³³परमेस्सर क करुणा, बुद्धि अउर ज्ञान केतॅना अपरम्पार अहइ। ओकरे निआव केतॅना गहन बा, ओकर रस्ता केतना गूढ़ बा।

³⁴“For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?” Isaiah 40:13

³⁴पवित्तर सास्तर कहत ह: “पर्भू क मने क कउन जानत ह? अउर ओका सलाह देइवाला कउन होइ सकत ह?” यसायाह 40:13

³⁵“Or who has first given to him, and it will be repaid to him again?” Job 41:11

³⁵“परमेस्सर क केऊ का दिहे अहइ कि उ कउनो क ओकरे बदले कछू देइ।” अय्यूब 41:11

³⁶For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things. To him be the glory for ever! Amen.

³⁶काहेकि सब क रचनावाला उहइ बा। उही स सब स्थिर बाटेन अउर उ उही क बरे बा। ओकर हमेसा महिमा होइ। आमीन।
