1Now I declare to you, brothers, the Good News which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand,
1Bada auisatzen çaituztet, anayeác, declaratu drauçuedan Euangelioaz, cein recebitu baituçue, ceinetan egoiten-ere baitzarete.
2by which also you are saved, if you hold firmly the word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
2Ceinez saluatzen-ere baitzarete, baldin orhoit baçarete cer maneraz hura denuntiatu drauçuedan: baldin alfer sinhetsi vkan ezpaduçue.
3For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
3Ecen eman drauçuet recebitu-ere vkan nuena: nola Christ hil içan den gure bekatuacgatic, Scripturén araura:
4that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
4Eta nola ohortze eta resuscitatu içan den hereneco egunean, Scripturén araura:
5and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.
5Eta nola ikussi içan den Cephasez, eta guero hamabiéz.
6Then he appeared to over five hundred brothers at once, most of whom remain until now, but some have also fallen asleep.
6Gueroztic ikussi içan da borz ehun anayez baina guehiagoz aldi batez: ceinetaric anhitz vici baitirade oraindrano, eta batzu lokartu-ere içan dirade:
7Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles,
7Gueroztic ikussi içan da Iacquesez: eta guero Apostolu guciez.
8and last of all, as to the child born at the wrong time, he appeared to me also.
8Eta gucietaco azquenenic, aburtoin ançocoaz ikussi içan da niçaz-ere.
9For I am the least of the apostles, who is not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the assembly of God.
9Ecen ni naiz Apostoluetaco chipiena, Apostolu deithu içateco digne eznaicenor, ceren persecutatu vkan baitut Iaincoaren Eliçá.
10But by the grace of God I am what I am. His grace which was bestowed on me was not futile, but I worked more than all of them; yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
10Baina Iaincoaren gratiaz naiz naicena: eta haren ni baitharaco gratiá, ezta vano içan, aitzitic hec guciac baino guehiago trabaillatu içan naiz: badaric-ere ez ni, baina Iaincoaren gratia enequin dena.
11Whether then it is I or they, so we preach, and so you believed.
11Beraz, bada nic, bada hec, hunela predicatzen dugu, eta hunela sinhetsi vkan duçue.
12Now if Christ is preached, that he has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
12Eta baldin Christ predicatzen bada ecen hiletaric resuscitatu içan dela, nola erraiten dute batzuc çuen artean, ecen hilén resurrectioneric eztela?
13But if there is no resurrection of the dead, neither has Christ been raised.
13Ecen baldin hilén resurrectioneric ezpada, Christ-ere ezta resuscitatu içan.
14If Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain, and your faith also is in vain.
14Eta baldin Christ resuscitatu içan ezpada, beraz vano da gure predicationea, eta çuen fedea-ere vano da.
15Yes, we are found false witnesses of God, because we testified about God that he raised up Christ, whom he didn’t raise up, if it is so that the dead are not raised.
15Eta erideiten-ere bagara Iaincoaren testimonio falsu: ecen testificatu vkan dugu Iaincoaz, nola resuscitatu vkan duen Christ, cein ezpaitu resuscitatu, baldin hilac resuscitatzen ezpadirade.
16For if the dead aren’t raised, neither has Christ been raised.
16Ecen baldin hilac resuscitatzen ezpadirade, Christ-ere ezta resuscitatu içan.
17If Christ has not been raised, your faith is vain; you are still in your sins.
17Eta baldin Christ resuscitatu içan ezpada, vano da çuen fedea: oraino çuen bekatuetan çarete.
18Then they also who are fallen asleep in Christ have perished.
18Beraz Christan lokartu diradenac-ere, galdu içan dirade.
19If we have only hoped in Christ in this life, we are of all men most pitiable.
19Baldin vicitze hunetan solament Christ baithan sperança badugu, guiçon gucietaco miserablenac gu gara.
20But now Christ has been raised from the dead. He became the first fruits of those who are asleep.
20Baina orain, Christ resuscitatu içan da hiletaric: eta lokartu içan diradenén primitia eguin içan da.
21For since death came by man, the resurrection of the dead also came by man.
21Ecen herioa guiçon batez denaz gueroz, hilén resurrectionea-ere guiçon-batez da.
22For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
22Ecen nola guciac Adamtan hiltzen baitirade, hala Christan-ere viuificaturen dirade guciac.
23But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then those who are Christ’s, at his coming.
23Baina batbedera bere ordenançán: primitia Christ, guero Christen diradenac, haren aduenimenduan.
24Then the end comes, when he will deliver up the Kingdom to God, even the Father; when he will have abolished all rule and all authority and power.
24Guero içanen da fina, eman drauqueonean resumá Iainco Aitari: abolitu duqueenean principaltassun gucia, eta puissança eta bothere gucia.
25For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.
25Ecen behar du harc regnatu, etsay guciac bere oinén azpian eçarri dituqueeno.
26The last enemy that will be abolished is death.
26Eta azquen etsay deseguinen dena herioa da.
27For, “He put all things in subjection under his feet.” Psalm 8:6 But when he says, “All things are put in subjection,” it is evident that he is excepted who subjected all things to him.
27Ecen gauça guciac suiet eguin vkan ditu haren oinén azpico (baina erraiten duenean, ecen gauça guciac haren suiet eguin içan diradela, agueria da ecen gauça guciac haren suiet eguin dituena reseruatua dela.)
28When all things have been subjected to him, then the Son will also himself be subjected to him who subjected all things to him, that God may be all in all.
28Eta gauça guciac hari suiet eguin çaizqueonean, orduan Semea bera-ere suiet eguinen çayó gauça guciac hari suiet eguin drauzquionari, Iaincoa dençat gucia gucietan.
29Or else what will they do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead aren’t raised at all, why then are they baptized for the dead?
29Bercela cer eguinen duté hiltzat batheyatzen diradenéc, baldin guciz hilac resuscitatzen ezpadirade? eta cergatic batheyatzen dirade hiltzat?
30Why do we also stand in jeopardy every hour?
30Eta cergatic gu periletan gara ordu oroz?
31I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
31Egunetic egunera hiltzen naiz, gure gloria Iesus Christ gure Iaunean dudanaz.
32If I fought with animals at Ephesus for human purposes, what does it profit me? If the dead are not raised, then “let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.” Isaiah 22:13
32Baldin guiçonaren arauez bestién contra bataillatu içan banaiz Ephesen, cer probetchu dut, baldin hilac resuscitatzen ezpadirade? Ian deçagun eta edan deçagun: ecen bihar hilen gara.
33Don’t be deceived! “Evil companionships corrupt good morals.”
33Etzaiteztela seduci. Propos gaichtoéc corrumpitzen dituzte conditione onac.
34Wake up righteously, and don’t sin, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
34Iratzar çaiteztez iustoqui vicitzera, eta bekaturic eztaguiçuela: ecen batzuc Iaincoaren eçagutzea eztuté: çuen ahalquetan erraiten drauçuet.
35But someone will say, “How are the dead raised?” and, “With what kind of body do they come?”
35Baina erranen du cembeitec, Nola resuscitatzen dirade hilac? eta nolaco gorputzetan ethorriren dirade?
36You foolish one, that which you yourself sow is not made alive unless it dies.
36Erhoá, hic ereiten duána, eztuc viuificatzen, baldin hil ezpadadi.
37That which you sow, you don’t sow the body that will be, but a bare grain, maybe of wheat, or of some other kind.
37Eta ereiten duána, eztuc gorputz sorthuren dena ereiten, baina bihi hutsa, nola heltzen baita, oguiarena, edo cembeit berce bihirena.
38But God gives it a body even as it pleased him, and to each seed a body of its own.
38Baina Iaincoac emaiten diraucac gorputza nahi duen beçala, eta hacietaric batbederari ceini bere gorputz propria.
39All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one flesh of men, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds.
39Haragui gucia ezta haragui ber-bat: baina berce da guiçonén haraguia, eta berce, abren haraguia: eta berce arrainena: eta berce choriena.
40There are also celestial bodies, and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial differs from that of the terrestrial.
40Eta badirade gorputz cerucoac, eta badirade gorputz lurrecoac: baina berce da cerucoén gloriá, eta berce lurrecoena.
41There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory.
41Berce da iguzquiaren gloriá, eta berce ilharguiaren gloriá, eta berce içarren gloriá: ecen içarra içarraganic different da gloriatan.
42So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption.
42Halaiçanen da hilén resurrectionea-ere: gorputza ereiten da corruptionetan, resuscitatzen da incorruptionetan.
43It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.
43Ereiten da desohorezco, resuscitatzen da glorioso: ereiten da infirmo, resuscitatzen da botheretsu.
44It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body and there is also a spiritual body.
44Ereiten da gorputz sensual, resuscitatzen da gorputz spiritual: bada gorputz sensuala, eta bada gorputz spirituala.
45So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living soul.” Genesis 2:7 The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
45Scribatua-ere den beçala, Eguin içan da Adam lehen guiçona arima vicitan: Adam guerocoa spiritu viuificaçaletan.
46However that which is spiritual isn’t first, but that which is natural, then that which is spiritual.
46Baina spiritual dena ezta lehen, baina sensual dena: guero spiritual dena.
47The first man is of the earth, made of dust. The second man is the Lord from heaven.
47Lehen guiçona lurretic, lurreco: eta bigarren guiçona, cein baita Iauna, cerutic.
48As is the one made of dust, such are those who are also made of dust; and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
48Lurrecoa nolaco, halaco lurreco diradenac-ere: eta cerucoa nolaco, halaco cerucoac-ere.
49As we have borne the image of those made of dust, let’s NU, TR read “we will” instead of “let’s” also bear the image of the heavenly.
49Eta lurrecoaren imaginá ekarri vkan dugun beçala, ekarriren dugu cerucoaren imagina-ere.
50Now I say this, brothers, The word for “brothers” here and where context allows may also be correctly translated “brothers and sisters” or “siblings.” that flesh and blood can’t inherit the Kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.
50Huná cer diodan, anayeác, ecen haraguiac eta odolac Iaincoaren resumá hereta ecin deçaquetela: eta corruptioneac eztuela incorruptionea heretatzen.
51Behold, I tell you a mystery. We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,
51Huná, mysteriobat erraiten drauçuet, Guciac behinçat lokarturen ez gara, baina guciac bay muthaturen:
52in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.
52Moment batez eta begui keinu batez, azquen trompettán (ecen ioren du trompettác) eta hilac resuscitaturen dirade incorruptible, eta gu muthaturen gara.
53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
53Ecen behar da corruptible haur vezti dadin incorruptionez, eta mortal haur vezti dadin immortalitatez.
54But when this corruptible will have put on incorruption, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then what is written will happen: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” Isaiah 25:8
54Bada corruptible haur veztitu datenean incorruptionez, eta mortal haur veztitu datenean immortalitatez, orduan eguinen da scribatu dena, Iretsi içan da herioa victoriatara.
55“Death, where is your sting? Hades or, Hell , where is your victory?” Hosea 13:14
55O herioá, non da hire victoria? o sepulchreá, non da hire eztena?
56The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
56Bada herioaren eztena, bekatua da: eta bekatuaren botherea, Leguea.
57But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
57Baina esquer Iaincoari, ceinec victoria eman baitraucu Iesus Christ gure Iaunaz.
58Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord’s work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
58Halacotz, ene anaye maiteác, çareten fermu, constant, abundoso Iaunaren obrán bethiere, daquiçuelaric ecen çuen trabaillua eztela vano gure Iaunean.
