1In those days was Hezekiah sick to death. Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said to him, “Thus says Yahweh, ‘Set your house in order; for you shall die, and not live.’”
1 Yn y dyddiau hynny aeth Heseceia'n glaf hyd farw, a daeth y proffwyd Eseia fab Amos ato a dweud, "Fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD: 'Trefna dy du375?, oherwydd yr wyt ar fin marw; ni fyddi fyw.'"
2Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed to Yahweh, saying,
2 Trodd yntau ei wyneb at y pared a gweddo ar yr ARGLWYDD, a dweud:
3“Remember now, Yahweh, I beg you, how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in your sight.” Hezekiah wept bitterly.
3 "O ARGLWYDD, cofia fel yr oeddwn yn rhodio ger dy fron di mewn cywirdeb ac chalon berffaith, ac yn gwneud yr hyn oedd dda yn dy olwg." Yna beichiodd wylo.
4It happened, before Isaiah had gone out into the middle part of the city, that the word of Yahweh came to him, saying,
4 A chyn bod Eseia wedi gadael y cyntedd canol daeth gair yr ARGLWYDD ato gan ddweud,
5“Turn back, and tell Hezekiah the prince of my people, ‘Thus says Yahweh, the God of David your father, “I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day, you shall go up to the house of Yahweh.
5 "Dos yn l, a dywed wrth Heseceia, tywysog fy mhobl, 'Fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD, Duw dy dad Dafydd: Clywais dy weddi a gwelais dy ddagrau; wele, yr wyf am dy iachu. Ymhen tridiau byddi'n mynd i fyny i'r deml.
6I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city for my own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.”’”
6 Ychwanegaf bymtheng mlynedd at dy oes, a gwaredaf di a'r ddinas hon o afael brenin Asyria, a byddaf yn gysgod dros y ddinas hon er fy mwyn fy hun ac er mwyn fy ngwas Dafydd.'"
7Isaiah said, “Take a cake of figs.” They took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.
7 Yna dywedodd Eseia wrthynt, "Cymerwch bowltis ffigys." Ac wedi iddynt wneud hynny a'i osod ar y cornwyd, fe wellodd.
8Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “What shall be the sign that Yahweh will heal me, and that I shall go up to the house of Yahweh the third day?”
8 Gofynnodd Heseceia i Eseia, "Beth yw'r arwydd y bydd yn fy iachu, ac yr af i fyny i'r deml ymhen tridiau?"
9Isaiah said, “This shall be the sign to you from Yahweh, that Yahweh will do the thing that he has spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten steps, or go back ten steps?”
9 Dywedodd Eseia, "Dyma fydd yr arwydd iti oddi wrth yr ARGLWYDD y bydd yn cyflawni'r hyn a ddywedodd: bydd y cysgod yn symud ddeg gris ymlaen neu ddeg gris yn l."
10Hezekiah answered, “It is a light thing for the shadow to go forward ten steps. Nay, but let the shadow return backward ten steps.”
10 Dyw-edodd Heseceia, "Y mae'n haws i'r cysgod symud ymlaen ddeg gris; na, aed y cysgod yn l ddeg gris."
11Isaiah the prophet cried to Yahweh; and he brought the shadow ten steps backward, by which it had gone down on the dial of Ahaz.
11 Galwodd y proffwyd Eseia ar yr ARGLWYDD, a gwnaeth yntau i'r cysgod fynd yn ei l ddeg gris, lle'r arferai fynd i lawr ar risiau Ahas.
12At that time Berodach Baladan the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah; for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick.
12 Yr adeg honno anfonodd Merodach Baladan, mab Baladan brenin Babilon, genhadau gydag anrheg i Heseceia, oherwydd clywsai fod Heseceia wedi bod yn wael.
13Hezekiah listened to them, and showed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious oil, and the house of his armor, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah didn’t show them.
13 Croesawodd Heseceia hwy a dangos iddynt ei drysordy i gyd, yr arian a'r aur, a'r perlysiau a'r olew persawrus, a'i arfdy a phopeth oedd yn ei storfeydd. Nid oedd dim yn ei balas na'i deyrnas na ddangosodd Heseceia iddynt.
14Then Isaiah the prophet came to king Hezekiah, and said to him, “What did these men say? From where did they come to you?” Hezekiah said, “They have come from a far country, even from Babylon.”
14 Yna daeth y proffwyd Eseia at y Brenin Heseceia a gofyn, "Beth a ddywedodd y dynion hyn, ac o ble y daethant?" Atebodd Heseceia, "O wlad bell, o Fabilon y daethant."
15He said, “What have they seen in your house?” Hezekiah answered, “They have seen all that is in my house. There is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them.”
15 Yna holodd, "Beth a welsant yn dy du375??" Dywedodd Heseceia, "Gwelsant y cwbl sydd yn fy nhu375?; nid oes dim yn fy nhrysorfa nad wyf wedi ei ddangos iddynt."
16Isaiah said to Hezekiah, “Hear the word of Yahweh.
16 Yna dywedodd Eseia wrth Heseceia, "Gwrando air yr ARGLWYDD:
17‘Behold, the days come, that all that is in your house, and that which your fathers have laid up in store to this day, shall be carried to Babylon. Nothing shall be left,’ says Yahweh.
17 'Wele 'r dyddiau yn dod pan ddygir popeth sydd yn dy balas, a phopeth a grynhodd dy ragflaenwyr hyd y dydd hwn, i Fabilon, ac ni adewir dim,' medd yr ARGLWYDD.
18‘Of your sons who shall issue from you, whom you shall father, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.’”
18 Dygir oddi arnat rai o'r meibion a genhedli, had dy gorff, a byddant yn ystafellyddion yn llys brenin Babilon."
19Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “The word of Yahweh which you have spoken is good.” He said moreover, “Isn’t it so, if peace and truth shall be in my days?”
19 Atebodd Heseceia, "o'r gorau; gair yr ARGLWYDD yr wyt yn ei lefaru." Meddyliai, "Oni fydd heddwch a sicrwydd dros fy nghyfnod i?"
20Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made the pool, and the conduit, and brought water into the city, aren’t they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
20 Am weddill hanes Heseceia, a'i holl wrhydri, ac fel y gwnaeth gronfa ddu373?r a'r ffos a ddi du373?r i'r ddinas, onid yw wedi ei ysgrifennu yn llyfr hanesion brenhinoedd Jwda?
21Hezekiah slept with his fathers; and Manasseh his son reigned in his place.
21 Bu farw Heseceia, a daeth Manasse yn frenin yn ei le.
