1“At that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who stands for the children of your people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who shall be found written in the book.
1 "Ac yn yr amser hwnnw cyfyd Mihangel, y tywysog mawr, sy'n gwarchod dros dy bobl; a bydd cyfnod blin na fu erioed ei fath er pan ffurfiwyd cenedl hyd yr amser hwnnw. Ond yn yr amser hwnnw gwaredir dy bobl, pob un yr ysgrifennwyd ei enw yn y llyfr.
2Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
2 Bydd llawer o'r rhai sy'n cysgu yn llwch y ddaear yn deffro, rhai i fywyd tragwyddol, a rhai i waradwydd a dirmyg tragwyddol.
3Those who are wise shall shine as the brightness of the expanse; and those who turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.
3 Disgleiria'r deallus fel y ffurfafen, a'r rhai sydd wedi troi llawer at gyfiawnder, byddant fel y sr yn oes oesoedd.
4But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run back and forth, and knowledge shall be increased.”
4 Ond amdanat ti, Daniel, cadw'r geiriau'n ddiogel, a selia'r llyfr hyd amser y diwedd. Bydd llawer yn rhedeg yma ac acw, a bydd gofid yn cynyddu."
5Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, two others stood, one on the river bank on this side, and the other on the river bank on that side.
5 Yna edrychais i, Daniel, a gweld dau arall yn sefyll un bob ochr i'r afon.
6One said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
6 A gofynnodd y naill i'r llall, sef y gu373?r mewn gwisg liain a oedd uwchlaw dyfroedd yr afon, "Pa bryd y bydd terfyn ar y rhyfeddodau?"
7I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by him who lives forever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when they have made an end of breaking in pieces the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
7 Sylwais ar y gu373?r mewn gwisg liain a oedd ar lan bellaf yr afon; cododd ei ddwy law i'r nef a thyngu, "Cyn wired bod y Tragwyddol yn fyw, am gyfnod a chyfnodau a hanner cyfnod y bydd hyn, a daw'r cwbl i ben pan roddir terfyn ar ddiddymu nerth y bobl sanctaidd."
8I heard, but I didn’t understand: then I said, my lord, what shall be the issue of these things?
8 Yr oeddwn yn clywed heb ddeall, a gofynnais, "F'arglwydd, beth a ddaw o hyn?"
9He said, Go your way, Daniel; for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end.
9 Dywedodd yntau, "Dos, Daniel, oherwydd y mae'r geiriau wedi eu cadw'n ddiogel a'u selio hyd amser y diwedd.
10Many shall purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined; but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand; but those who are wise shall understand.
10 Bydd llawer yn ymlanhau ac yn eu cannu eu hunain ac yn cael eu puro; bydd yr holl rai drygionus yn gwneud drwg heb ddeall, heb neb ond y deallus yn amgyffred.
11From the time that the continual burnt offering shall be taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred ninety days.
11 Ac o'r amser y diddymir yr aberth beunyddiol, a gosod yno y ffieiddbeth diffeithiol, bydd mil dau gant naw deg o ddyddiau.
12Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred thirty-five days.
12 Gwyn ei fyd yr un fydd yn disgwyl ac yn cyrraedd y mil tri chant tri deg a phump o ddyddiau.
13But go you your way until the end; for you shall rest, and shall stand in your lot, at the end of the days.
13 Dos dithau ymlaen hyd y diwedd; yna cei orffwys, a sefyll i dderbyn dy ran yn niwedd y dyddiau."
