Ezekiel

3

1He said to me, Son of man, eat that which you find. Eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.
1 Yna dywedodd wrthyf, "Fab dyn, bwyta'r hyn sydd o'th flaen; bwyta'r sgrl hon, a dos a llefara wrth du375? Israel."
2So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat the scroll.
2 Agorais fy ngheg, a rhoddodd imi'r sgrl i'w bwyta,
3He said to me, Son of man, cause your belly to eat, and fill your bowels with this scroll that I give you. Then I ate it; and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth.
3 a dweud wrthyf, "Fab dyn, bwyda dy hun a llanw dy fol 'r sgrl hon yr wyf yn ei rhoi iti." Bwyteais, ac yr oedd cyn felysed ml yn fy ngenau.
4He said to me, Son of man, go to the house of Israel, and speak my words to them.
4 Dywedodd wrthyf, "Fab dyn, dos yn awr at du375? Israel a llefara fy ngeiriau wrthynt.
5For you are not sent to a people of a strange speech and of a hard language, but to the house of Israel;
5 Nid at bobl ddieithr eu hiaith ac anodd eu lleferydd y'th anfonir, ond at du375? Israel.
6not to many peoples of a strange speech and of a hard language, whose words you can not understand. Surely, if I sent you to them, they would listen to you.
6 Na, nid at lawer o bobl ddieithr eu hiaith ac anodd eu lleferydd, a thithau heb ddeall eu geiriau; yn wir, pe bawn wedi dy anfon atynt hwy, byddent yn gwrando arnat.
7But the house of Israel will not listen to you; for they will not listen to me: for all the house of Israel are obstinate and hard-hearted.
7 Ond nid yw tu375? Israel yn fodlon gwrando arnat, am nad ydynt yn fodlon gwrando arnaf fi, oherwydd y mae tu375? Israel i gyd yn wynebgaled ac yn ystyfnig.
8Behold, I have made your face hard against their faces, and your forehead hard against their foreheads.
8 Yn awr, fe'th wnaf mor wynebgaled ac ystyfnig hwythau.
9As an adamant harder than flint have I made your forehead: don’t be afraid of them, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.
9 Gwnaf dy dalcen fel diemwnt, yn galetach na challestr; paid 'u hofni nac arswydo rhag eu hwynebau, oherwydd tylwyth gwrthryfelgar ydynt."
10Moreover he said to me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak to you receive in your heart, and hear with your ears.
10 Yna dywedodd wrthyf, "Fab dyn, gwrando ar yr holl eiriau yr wyf yn eu llefaru wrthyt, a derbyn hwy i'th galon.
11Go to them of the captivity, to the children of your people, and speak to them, and tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.
11 Dos yn awr at dy bobl sydd yn y gaethglud, a llefara wrthynt a dweud, 'Fel hyn y dywed yr Arglwydd DDUW', prun bynnag a wrandawant ai peidio."
12Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me the voice of a great rushing, saying, Blessed be the glory of Yahweh from his place.
12 Cododd yr ysbryd fi, a chlywais o'r tu l imi su373?n tymestl fawr: "Bendigedig yw gogoniant yr ARGLWYDD yn ei le."
13I heard the noise of the wings of the living creatures as they touched one another, and the noise of the wheels beside them, even the noise of a great rushing.
13 Clywais su373?n adenydd y creaduriaid yn cyffwrdd 'i gilydd, a su373?n yr olwynion wrth eu hochr, a sain tymestl fawr.
14So the Spirit lifted me up, and took me away; and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; and the hand of Yahweh was strong on me.
14 Cododd yr ysbryd fi a'm cario ymaith; ac yr oeddwn yn mynd yn chwerw yng ngwres fy ysbryd, a llaw yr ARGLWYDD yn drwm arnaf.
15Then I came to them of the captivity at Tel Aviv, that lived by the river Chebar, and to where they lived; and I sat there overwhelmed among them seven days.
15 Deuthum i Tel-abib at y caethgludion oedd wedi ymsefydlu wrth afon Chebar, ac aros lle'r oeddent hwy yn byw; arhosais yno yn eu mysg wedi fy syfrdanu am saith diwrnod.
16It happened at the end of seven days, that the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
16 Ar ddiwedd y saith diwrnod daeth gair yr ARGLWYDD ataf a dweud:
17Son of man, I have made you a watchman to the house of Israel: therefore hear the word from my mouth, and give them warning from me.
17 "Fab dyn, gosodais di yn wyliwr i du375? Israel; byddi'n clywed gair o'm genau ac yn rhoi rhybudd iddynt oddi wrthyf.
18When I tell the wicked, You shall surely die; and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at your hand.
18 Os dywedaf wrth y drygionus, 'Byddi'n sicr o farw', a thithau heb ei rybuddio a heb lefaru wrtho i'w droi o'i ffordd ddrygionus er mwyn iddo fyw, bydd y drygionus hwnnw farw am ei gamwedd, ond byddaf yn dy ddal di yn gyfrifol am ei waed.
19Yet if you warn the wicked, and he doesn’t turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.
19 Ond os byddi wedi rhybuddio'r drygionus, ac yntau heb droi oddi wrth ei ddrygioni ac o'i ffordd ddrygionus, bydd yn marw am ei gamwedd, ond byddi di wedi dy arbed dy hunan.
20Again, when a righteous man does turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die: because you have not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteous deeds which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at your hand.
20 Os bydd un cyfiawn yn troi oddi wrth gyfiawnder ac yn gwneud drwg, a minnau wedi rhoi rhwystr o'i flaen, bydd farw; am na rybuddiaist ef, bydd farw am ei gamwedd, ac ni chofir y pethau cyfiawn a wnaeth; ond byddaf yn dy ddal di yn gyfrifol am ei waed.
21Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man, that the righteous not sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live, because he took warning; and you have delivered your soul.
21 Ond os byddi wedi rhybuddio'r cyfiawn rhag pechu, ac yntau'n peidio phechu, yn sicr fe gaiff fyw am iddo gymryd ei rybuddio, a byddi dithau wedi dy arbed dy hunan."
22The hand of Yahweh was there on me; and he said to me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with you.
22 Daeth llaw yr ARGLWYDD arnaf yno, a dywedodd wrthyf, "Cod a dos i'r gwastadedd, ac fe lefaraf wrthyt yno."
23Then I arose, and went forth into the plain: and behold, the glory of Yahweh stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell on my face.
23 Codais a mynd i'r gwastadedd, ac yr oedd gogoniant yr ARGLWYDD yn sefyll yno, yn union fel y gogoniant a welais wrth afon Chebar, a syrthiais ar fy wyneb.
24Then the Spirit entered into me, and set me on my feet; and he spoke with me, and said to me, Go, shut yourself inside your house.
24 Yna daeth yr ysbryd arnaf a'm codi ar fy nhraed, a llefarodd wrthyf gan ddweud, "Dos a chau arnat dy hun yn dy du375?.
25But you, son of man, behold, they shall lay bands on you, and shall bind you with them, and you shall not go out among them:
25 Fe roddir rhwymau amdanat ti, fab dyn, a'th glymu hwy fel na elli fynd allan ymysg dy bobl.
26and I will make your tongue stick to the roof of your mouth, that you shall be mute, and shall not be to them a reprover; for they are a rebellious house.
26 Gwnaf i'th dafod lynu wrth daflod dy enau, a byddi'n fud, fel na elli eu ceryddu, oherwydd tylwyth gwrthryfelgar ydynt.
27But when I speak with you, I will open your mouth, and you shall tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: He who hears, let him hear; and he who forbears, let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house.
27 Ond pan lefaraf fi wrthyt, fe agoraf dy enau, ac fe ddywedi wrthynt, 'Fel hyn y dywed yr Arglwydd DDUW.' Bydded i'r sawl sy'n gwrando arnat wrando, ac i'r sawl sy'n gwrthod wrthod; oherwydd tylwyth gwrthryfelgar ydynt.
