²¹ O fel yr aeth y ddinas ffyddlon yn butain! Bu'n llawn o farn, a thrigai cyfiawnder ynddi, ond bellach llofruddion.

²²Your silver has become dross, your wine mixed with water.

²² Aeth dy arian yn sorod, a'th win yn gymysg � du373?r.

²³Your princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves. Everyone loves bribes, and follows after rewards. They don’t judge the fatherless, neither does the cause of the widow come to them.

²³ Y mae dy arweinwyr yn wrthryfelwyr ac yn bartneriaid lladron; y maent i gyd yn caru cil-dwrn ac yn chwilio am wobrau; nid ydynt yn amddiffyn yr amddifad, ac ni roddant sylw i gu373?yn y weddw.

²⁷Zion shall be redeemed with justice, and her converts with righteousness.

³⁰For you shall be as an oak whose leaf fades, and as a garden that has no water.

³⁰ byddwch fel coeden dderw a'i dail wedi gwywo, ac fel gardd heb ddu373?r ynddi.

³¹The strong will be like tinder, and his work like a spark. They will both burn together, and no one will quench them.”

³¹ Bydd y cadarn fel cynnud, a'i orchest fel gwreichionen; fe losgant ill dau ynghyd, ac ni all neb eu diffodd.
