Isaiah

16

1Send the lambs for the ruler of the land from Selah to the wilderness, to the mountain of the daughter of Zion.
1 Anfonodd llywodraethwr y wlad u373?yn o Sela yn yr anialwch i fynydd merch Seion.
2For it will be that as wandering birds, as a scattered nest, so will the daughters of Moab be at the fords of the Arnon.
2 Y mae merched Moab wrth rydau Arnon fel adar aflonydd wedi eu troi o'u nythod.
3Give counsel! Execute justice! Make your shade like the night in the midst of the noonday! Hide the outcasts! Don’t betray the fugitive!
3 "Dwg gyngor, gwna dy fwriad yn glir; bydded dy gysgod fel nos drosom, hyd yn oed ar ganol dydd; cuddia'r ffoaduriaid, paid bradychu'r crwydriaid.
4Let my outcasts dwell with you! As for Moab, be a hiding place for him from the face of the destroyer. For the extortioner is brought to nothing. Destruction ceases. The oppressors are consumed out of the land.
4 Bydded i ffoaduriaid Moab aros gyda thi; bydd di yn lloches iddynt rhag y dinistrydd." Pan ddaw diwedd ar drais, a pheidio o'r ysbeilio, a darfod o'r mathrwyr o'r tir,
5A throne will be established in loving kindness. One will sit on it in truth, in the tent of David, judging, seeking justice, and swift to do righteousness.
5 yna sefydlir gorsedd trwy deyrngarwch, ac arni fe eistedd un ffyddlon ym mhabell Dafydd, barnwr yn ceisio barn deg ac yn barod i fod yn gyfiawn.
6We have heard of the pride of Moab, that he is very proud; even of his arrogance, his pride, and his wrath. His boastings are nothing.
6 Clywsom am falchder Moab mor falch ydoedd ac am ei thraha, ei malais a'i haerllugrwydd, heb sail i'w hymffrost.
7Therefore Moab will wail for Moab. Everyone will wail. You will mourn for the raisin cakes of Kir Hareseth, utterly stricken.
7 Am hynny fe uda Moab; uded Moab i gyd. Fe riddfana mewn dryswch llwyr am deisennau grawnwin Cirhareseth.
8For the fields of Heshbon languish with the vine of Sibmah. The lords of the nations have broken down its choice branches, which reached even to Jazer, which wandered into the wilderness. Its shoots were spread abroad. They passed over the sea.
8 Oherwydd pallodd erwau Hesbon a gwinwydd Sibma; drylliodd arglwyddi'r cenhedloedd ei grawnwin cochion; buont yn cyrraedd hyd at Jaser, ac yn ymestyn trwy'r anialwch. Yr oedd ei blagur yn gwthio allan, ac yn cyrraedd ar draws y mr.
9Therefore I will weep with the weeping of Jazer for the vine of Sibmah. I will water you with my tears, Heshbon, and Elealeh: for on your summer fruits and on your harvest the battle shout has fallen.
9 Am hynny wylaf dros winwydd Sibma fel yr wylais dros Jaser; dyfrhaf di 'm dagrau, Hesbon ac Eleale; canys ar dy ffrwythau haf ac ar dy gynhaeaf daeth gwaedd.
10Gladness is taken away, and joy out of the fruitful field; and in the vineyards there will be no singing, neither joyful noise. Nobody will tread out wine in the presses. I have made the shouting stop.
10 Ysgubwyd ymaith y llawenydd a'r gorfoledd o'r dolydd; mwyach ni chenir ac ni floeddir yn y gwinllannoedd, ni sathra'r sathrwr win yn y cafnau, a rhoddais daw ar weiddi'r cynaeafwyr.
11Therefore my heart sounds like a harp for Moab, and my inward parts for Kir Heres.
11 Am hynny fe alara f'ymysgaroedd fel tannau telyn dros Moab, a'm hymysgaroedd dros Cir-hareseth.
12It will happen that when Moab presents himself, when he wearies himself on the high place, and comes to his sanctuary to pray, that he will not prevail.
12 Pan ddaw Moab i addoli, ni wna ond ei flino'i hun yn yr uchelfa; pan ddaw i'r cysegr i weddo, ni thycia ddim.
13This is the word that Yahweh spoke concerning Moab in time past.
13 Dyna'r gair a lefarodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moab gynt.
14But now Yahweh has spoken, saying, “Within three years, as a worker bound by contract would count them, the glory of Moab shall be brought into contempt, with all his great multitude; and the remnant will be very small and feeble.”
14 Yn awr fe ddywed yr ARGLWYDD, "Ymhen tair blynedd, yn l tymor gwas cyflog, bydd gogoniant Moab yn ddirmyg er cymaint ei rhifedi; bydd y rhai sy'n weddill yn ychydig ac yn ddibwys."
