Isaiah

27

1In that day, Yahweh with his hard and great and strong sword will punish leviathan, the fleeing serpent, and leviathan the twisted serpent; and he will kill the dragon that is in the sea.
1 Yn y dydd hwnnw bydd yr ARGLWYDD 'i gleddyf creulon, mawr a nerthol yn cosbi Lefiathan, y sarff wibiog, Lefiathan, y sarff gordeddog, ac yn lladd y ddraig sydd yn y mr.
2In that day, sing to her, “A pleasant vineyard!
2 Yn y dydd hwnnw y canwch gn y winllan ddymunol:
3I, Yahweh, am its keeper. I will water it every moment. Lest anyone damage it, I will keep it night and day.
3 "Myfi, yr ARGLWYDD, fydd yn ei chadw, ei dyfrhau bob munud, a'i gwylio nos a dydd, rhag i neb ei cham-drin.
4Wrath is not in me, but if I should find briers and thorns, I would do battle! I would march on them and I would burn them together.
4 Nid oes gennyf lid yn ei herbyn; os drain a mieri a rydd imi, rhyfelaf yn ei herbyn, a'u llosgi i gyd;
5Or else let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me. Let him make peace with me.”
5 ond os yw am afael ynof am sicrwydd, gwnaed heddwch mi, gwnaed heddwch mi."
6In days to come, Jacob will take root. Israel will blossom and bud. They will fill the surface of the world with fruit.
6 Fe ddaw'r adeg i Jacob fwrw gwraidd, ac i Israel flodeuo a blaguro, a llenwi'r ddaear i gyd chnwd.
7Has he struck them as he struck those who struck them? Or are they killed like those who killed them were killed?
7 A drawodd Duw ef fel y trawodd ef yr un a'i trawodd? A laddwyd ef fel y lladdodd ef yr un a'i lladdodd?
8In measure, when you send them away, you contend with them. He has removed them with his rough blast in the day of the east wind.
8 Trwy symud ymaith a bwrw allan, yr wyt yn ei barnu, ac yn ei hymlid gwynt creulon pan gyfyd o'r dwyrain.
9Therefore by this the iniquity of Jacob will be forgiven, and this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: that he makes all the stones of the altar as chalk stones that are beaten in pieces, so that the Asherim and the incense altars shall rise no more.
9 Am hynny, fel hyn y mae glanhau drygioni Jacob, a hyn fydd yn symud ymaith ei gamwedd gwneud holl feini'r allor fel cerrig calch wedi eu malu, heb bost nac allor yn sefyll.
10For the fortified city is solitary, a habitation deserted and forsaken, like the wilderness. The calf will feed there, and there he will lie down, and consume its branches.
10 Oherwydd y mae'r ddinas gadarn yn unig, yn fangre wedi ei gadael a'i gwrthod, fel diffeithdir, lle y mae'r llo yn pori a gorwedd, ac yn cnoi pob blaguryn sy'n tyfu.
11When its boughs are withered, they will be broken off. The women will come and set them on fire, for they are a people of no understanding. Therefore he who made them will not have compassion on them, and he who formed them will show them no favor.
11 Pan wywa'i changau, fe'u torrir, a daw'r gwragedd a chynnau tn hwy. Am mai pobl heb ddeall ydynt, ni fydd eu Gwneuthurwr yn dangos dim trugaredd, na'u Creawdwr yn gwneud dim ffafr hwy.
12It will happen in that day, that Yahweh will thresh from the flowing stream of the Euphrates to the brook of Egypt; and you will be gathered one by one, children of Israel.
12 Yn y dydd hwnnw bydd yr ARGLWYDD yn dyrnu u375?d o'r afon Ewffrates hyd nant yr Aifft, ac fe gewch chwi, blant Israel, eich lloffa bob yn un ac un.
13It will happen in that day that a great trumpet will be blown; and those who were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and those who were outcasts in the land of Egypt, shall come; and they will worship Yahweh in the holy mountain at Jerusalem.
13 Yn y dydd hwnnw fe genir ag utgorn mawr; ac fe ddaw'r rhai oedd ar goll yng ngwlad Asyria, a'r rhai oedd ar chwl yn yr Aifft, ac addoli'r ARGLWYDD yn y mynydd sanctaidd, yn Jerwsalem.
