Isaiah

52

1Awake, awake, put on your strength, Zion; put on your beautiful garments, Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into you the uncircumcised and the unclean.
1 Deffro, deffro, gwisg dy nerth, Seion; ymwisga yn dy ddillad godidog, O Jerwsalem, y ddinas sanctaidd; oherwydd ni ddaw i mewn iti mwyach neb dienwaededig nac aflan.
2Shake yourself from the dust! Arise, sit up, Jerusalem! Release yourself from the bonds of your neck, captive daughter of Zion!
2 Cod, ymysgwyd o'r llwch, ti Jerwsalem gaeth; tyn y rhwymau oddi ar dy war, ti gaethferch Seion.
3For thus says Yahweh, “You were sold for nothing; and you shall be redeemed without money.”
3 Fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD: "Gwerthwyd chwi am ddim, ac fe'ch gwaredir heb arian."
4For thus says the Lord Yahweh, “My people went down at the first into Egypt to live there: and the Assyrian has oppressed them without cause.
4 Canys fel hyn y dywed yr Arglwydd Dduw: "Yn y dechrau, i'r Aifft yr aeth fy mhobl i ymdeithio, ac yna bu Asyria'n eu gormesu'n ddiachos.
5“Now therefore, what do I do here,” says Yahweh, “seeing that my people are taken away for nothing? Those who rule over them mock,” says Yahweh, “and my name continually all the day is blasphemed.
5 Ond yn awr, beth a gaf yma?" medd yr ARGLWYDD. "Y mae fy mhobl wedi eu dwyn ymaith am ddim, eu gorthrymwyr yn llawn ymffrost," medd yr ARGLWYDD, "a'm henw'n cael ei ddilorni o hyd, drwy'r dydd.
6Therefore my people shall know my name. Therefore they shall know in that day that I am he who speaks; behold, it is I.”
6 Am hynny, fe gaiff fy mhobl adnabod fy enw; y dydd hwnnw cnt wybod mai myfi yw Duw, sy'n dweud, 'Dyma fi.'"
7How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of good, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
7 Mor weddaidd ar y mynyddoedd yw traed y negesydd sy'n cyhoeddi heddwch, yn datgan daioni, yn cyhoeddi iachawdwriaeth; sy'n dweud wrth Seion, "Dy Dduw sy'n teyrnasu."
8The voice of your watchmen! they lift up the voice, together do they sing; for they shall see eye to eye, when Yahweh returns to Zion.
8 Clyw, y mae dy wylwyr yn codi eu llais ac yn bloeddio'n llawen gyda'i gilydd; 'u llygaid eu hunain y gwelant yr ARGLWYDD yn dychwelyd i Seion.
9Break forth into joy, sing together, you waste places of Jerusalem; for Yahweh has comforted his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem.
9 Bloeddiwch, cydganwch, chwi adfeilion Jerwsalem, oherwydd tosturiodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth ei bobl, a gwaredodd Jerwsalem.
10Yahweh has made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
10 Dinoethodd yr ARGLWYDD ei fraich sanctaidd yng ngu373?ydd yr holl genhedloedd, ac fe wl holl gyrrau'r ddaear iachawdwriaeth ein Duw ni.
11Depart, depart, go out from there, touch no unclean thing! Go out of the midst of her! Cleanse yourselves, you who bear the vessels of Yahweh.
11 Allan! Allan! Ymaith chwi! Peidiwch chyffwrdd dim aflan. Ewch allan o'i chanol, glanhewch eich hunain, chwi sy'n cludo llestri'r ARGLWYDD.
12For you shall not go out in haste, neither shall you go by flight: for Yahweh will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.
12 Nid ar ffrwst yr ewch allan, ac nid fel ffoaduriaid y byddwch yn ymadael, oherwydd bydd yr ARGLWYDD ar y blaen, a Duw Israel y tu cefn i chwi.
13Behold, my servant shall deal wisely, he shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high.
13 Yn awr, bydd fy ngwas yn llwyddo; fe'i codir, a'i ddyrchafu, a bydd yn uchel iawn.
14Like as many were astonished at you (his appearance was marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men),
14 Ar y pryd 'roedd llawer yn synnu ato 'roedd ei wedd yn rhy hagr i ddyn, a'i bryd yn hyllach na neb dynol,
15so shall he sprinkle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they understand.
15 a phobloedd lawer yn troi i ffwrdd rhag ei weld, a brenhinoedd yn fud o'i blegid. Ond byddant yn gweld peth nas eglurwyd iddynt, ac yn deall yr hyn na chlywsant amdano.
