Joel

3

1“For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem,
1 "Yn y dyddiau hynny ac ar yr amser hwnnw, pan adferaf lwyddiant Jwda a Jerwsalem,
2I will gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will execute judgment on them there for my people, and for my heritage, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations. They have divided my land,
2 fe gasglaf yr holl genhedloedd a'u dwyn i ddyffryn Jehosaffat, a mynd i farn hwy yno ynglu375?n 'm pobl a'm hetifeddiaeth, Israel, am iddynt eu gwasgaru ymysg y cenhedloedd a rhannu fy nhir,
3and have cast lots for my people, and have given a boy for a prostitute, and sold a girl for wine, that they may drink.
3 a bwrw coelbren am fy mhobl, a chynnig bachgen am butain, a gwerthu geneth am win a'i yfed.
4“Yes, and what are you to me, Tyre, and Sidon, and all the regions of Philistia? Will you repay me? And if you repay me, I will swiftly and speedily return your repayment on your own head.
4 "Beth ydych chwi i mi, Tyrus a Sidon, a holl ranbarthau Philistia? Ai talu'n l i mi yr ydych? Os talu'n l i mi yr ydych, fe ddychwelaf y tl ar eich pen chwi eich hunain yn chwim a buan.
5Because you have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried my finest treasures into your temples,
5 Yr ydych wedi cymryd f'arian a'm haur, ac wedi dwyn fy nhrysorau gwerthfawr i'ch temlau.
6and have sold the children of Judah and the children of Jerusalem to the sons of the Greeks, that you may remove them far from their border.
6 Yr ydych wedi gwerthu pobl Jwda a Jerwsalem i'r Groegiaid er mwyn eu symud ymhell o'u goror.
7Behold, I will stir them up out of the place where you have sold them, and will return your repayment on your own head;
7 Ond yn awr fe'u galwaf o'r mannau lle'u gwerthwyd, a dychwelaf eich tl ar eich pen chwi eich hunain.
8and I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hands of the children of Judah, and they will sell them to the men of Sheba, to a faraway nation, for Yahweh has spoken it.”
8 Gwerthaf eich bechgyn a'ch merched i bobl Jwda, a byddant hwythau'n eu gwerthu i'r Sabeaid, cenedl bell." Yr ARGLWYDD a lefarodd.
9Proclaim this among the nations: “Prepare for war! Stir up the mighty men. Let all the warriors draw near. Let them come up.
9 "Cyhoeddwch hyn ymysg y cenhedloedd: 'Ymgysegrwch i ryfel; galwch y gwu375?r cryfion; doed y milwyr ynghyd i ymosod.
10Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’
10 Curwch eich ceibiau'n gleddyfau a'ch crymanau'n waywffyn; dyweded y gwan, "Rwy'n rhyfelwr."
11Hurry and come, all you surrounding nations, and gather yourselves together.” Cause your mighty ones to come down there, Yahweh.
11 "'Dewch ar frys, chwi genhedloedd o amgylch, ymgynullwch yno.'" Anfon i lawr dy ryfelwyr, O ARGLWYDD.
12“Let the nations arouse themselves, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat; for there will I sit to judge all the surrounding nations.
12 "Bydded i'r cenhedloedd ymysgwyd a dyfod i ddyffryn Jehosaffat; oherwydd yno'r eisteddaf mewn barn ar yr holl genhedloedd o amgylch.
13Put in the sickle; for the harvest is ripe. Come, tread, for the winepress is full, the vats overflow, for their wickedness is great.”
13 "Codwch y cryman, y mae'r cynhaeaf yn barod; dewch i sathru, y mae'r gwinwryf yn llawn; y mae'r cafnau'n gorlifo, oherwydd mawr yw eu drygioni."
14Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of Yahweh is near, in the valley of decision.
14 Tyrfa ar dyrfa yn nyffryn y ddedfryd, oherwydd agos yw dydd yr ARGLWYDD yn nyffryn y ddedfryd.
15The sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining.
15 Bydd yr haul a'r lleuad yn tywyllu, a'r sr yn atal eu goleuni.
16Yahweh will roar from Zion, and thunder from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth will shake; but Yahweh will be a refuge to his people, and a stronghold to the children of Israel.
16 Rhua'r ARGLWYDD o Seion, a chodi ei lef o Jerwsalem; cryna'r nefoedd a'r ddaear. Ond y mae'r ARGLWYDD yn gysgod i'w bobl, ac yn noddfa i blant Israel.
17“So you will know that I am Yahweh, your God, dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain. Then Jerusalem will be holy, and no strangers will pass through her any more.
17 "Cewch wybod mai myfi yw'r ARGLWYDD eich Duw, yn trigo yn Seion, fy mynydd sanctaidd. A bydd Jerwsalem yn sanctaidd, ac nid dieithriaid trwyddi eto.
18It will happen in that day, that the mountains will drop down sweet wine, the hills will flow with milk, all the brooks of Judah will flow with waters, and a fountain will come forth from the house of Yahweh, and will water the valley of Shittim.
18 "Yn y dydd hwnnw, difera'r mynyddoedd win newydd, a llifa'r bryniau o laeth, a bydd holl nentydd Jwda yn llifo o ddu373?r. Tardd ffynnon o du375?'r ARGLWYDD a dyfrhau dyffryn Sittim.
19Egypt will be a desolation, and Edom will be a desolate wilderness, for the violence done to the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
19 "Bydd yr Aifft yn anghyfannedd ac Edom yn anialwch diffaith, oherwydd y gorthrwm ar bobl Jwda wrth dywallt gwaed y dieuog yn eu gwlad.
20But Judah will be inhabited forever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
20 Ond erys Jwda dros byth a Jerwsalem dros genedlaethau.
21I will cleanse their blood, that I have not cleansed: for Yahweh dwells in Zion.”
21 Dialaf eu gwaed, ac ni ollyngaf yr euog, a phreswylia'r ARGLWYDD yn Seion."
