1Now there were some present at the same time who told him about the Galileans, whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.
1 Yr un adeg, daeth rhywrai a mynegi iddo am y Galileaid y cymysgodd Pilat eu gwaed 'u hebyrth.
2Jesus answered them, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered such things?
2 Atebodd ef hwy, "A ydych chwi'n tybio fod y rhain yn waeth pechaduriaid na'r holl Galileaid eraill, am iddynt ddioddef hyn?
3 I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way.
3 Nac oeddent, meddaf wrthych; eto, os nad edifarhewch, fe dderfydd amdanoch oll yn yr un modd.
4 Or those eighteen, on whom the tower in Siloam fell, and killed them; do you think that they were worse offenders than all the men who dwell in Jerusalem?
4 Neu'r deunaw hynny y syrthiodd y tu373?r arnynt yn Siloam a'u lladd, a ydych chwi'n tybio fod y rhain yn waeth troseddwyr na holl drigolion eraill Jerwsalem?
5 I tell you, no, but, unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way.”
5 Nac oeddent, meddaf wrthych; eto, os nad edifarhewch, fe dderfydd amdanoch oll yn yr un modd."
6He spoke this parable. “A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it, and found none.
6 Adroddodd y ddameg hon: "Yr oedd gan rywun ffigysbren wedi ei blannu yn ei winllan. Daeth i chwilio am ffrwyth arno, ac ni chafodd ddim.
7 He said to the vine dresser, ‘Behold, these three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree, and found none. Cut it down. Why does it waste the soil?’
7 Ac meddai wrth y gwinllannwr, 'Ers tair blynedd bellach yr wyf wedi bod yn dod i geisio ffrwyth ar y ffigysbren hwn, a heb gael dim. Am hynny tor ef i lawr; pam y caiff dynnu maeth o'r pridd?'
8 He answered, ‘Lord, leave it alone this year also, until I dig around it, and fertilize it.
8 Ond atebodd ef, 'Meistr, gad iddo eleni eto, imi balu o'i gwmpas a'i wrteithio.
9 If it bears fruit, fine; but if not, after that, you can cut it down.’”
9 Ac os daw ffrwyth y flwyddyn nesaf, popeth yn iawn; onid e, cei ei dorri i lawr.'"
10He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath day.
10 Yr oedd yn dysgu yn un o'r synagogau ar y Saboth.
11Behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and she was bent over, and could in no way straighten herself up.
11 Yr oedd yno wraig oedd ers deunaw mlynedd yng ngafael ysbryd oedd wedi bod yn ei gwanychu nes ei bod yn wargrwm ac yn hollol analluog i sefyll yn syth.
12When Jesus saw her, he called her, and said to her, “Woman, you are freed from your infirmity.”
12 Pan welodd Iesu hi galwodd arni, "Wraig, yr wyt wedi dy waredu o'th wendid."
13He laid his hands on her, and immediately she stood up straight, and glorified God.
13 Yna dododd ei ddwylo arni, ac ar unwaith ymunionodd drachefn, a dechrau gogoneddu Duw.
14The ruler of the synagogue, being indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the multitude, “There are six days in which men ought to work. Therefore come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day!”
14 Ond yr oedd arweinydd y synagog yn ddig fod Iesu wedi iachu ar y Saboth, ac meddai wrth y dyrfa, "Y mae chwe diwrnod gwaith; dewch i'ch iachu ar y dyddiau hynny, ac nid ar y dydd Saboth."
15Therefore the Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! Doesn’t each one of you free his ox or his donkey from the stall on the Sabbath, and lead him away to water?
15 Atebodd yr Arglwydd ef, "Chwi ragrithwyr, onid yw pob un ohonoch ar y Saboth yn gollwng ei ych neu ei asyn o'r preseb ac yn mynd ag ef allan i'r du373?r?
16 Ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan had bound eighteen long years, be freed from this bondage on the Sabbath day?”
16 Ond dyma un o ferched Abraham, a fu yn rhwymau Satan ers deunaw mlynedd; a ddywedwch na ddylasid ei rhyddhau hi o'r rhwymyn hwn ar y dydd Saboth?"
17As he said these things, all his adversaries were disappointed, and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
17 Wrth iddo ddweud hyn, codwyd cywilydd ar ei holl wrthwynebwyr, a llawenychodd y dyrfa i gyd oherwydd ei holl weithredoedd gogoneddus.
18He said, “What is the Kingdom of God like? To what shall I compare it?
18 Meddai gan hynny, "I beth y mae teyrnas Dduw yn debyg, ac i beth y cyffelybaf hi?
19 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and put in his own garden. It grew, and became a large tree, and the birds of the sky lodged in its branches.”
19 Y mae'n debyg i hedyn mwstard; y mae rhywun yn ei gymryd ac yn ei fwrw i'w ardd, ac y mae'n tyfu ac yn dod yn goeden, ac y mae adar yr awyr yn nythu yn ei changhennau."
20 Again he said, “To what shall I compare the Kingdom of God?
20 Ac meddai eto, "I beth y cyffelybaf deyrnas Dduw?
21 It is like yeast, which a woman took and hid in three measures literally, three sata. 3 sata is about 39 litres or a bit more than a bushel of flour, until it was all leavened.”
21 Y mae'n debyg i lefain; y mae gwraig yn ei gymryd, ac yn ei gymysgu thri mesur o flawd gwenith, nes lefeinio'r cwbl."
22He went on his way through cities and villages, teaching, and traveling on to Jerusalem.
22 Yr oedd yn mynd trwy'r trefi a'r pentrefi gan ddysgu, ar ei ffordd i Jerwsalem.
23One said to him, “Lord, are they few who are saved?” He said to them,
23 Meddai rhywun wrtho, "Arglwydd, ai ychydig yw'r rhai sy'n cael eu hachub?" Ac meddai ef wrthynt,
24 “Strive to enter in by the narrow door, for many, I tell you, will seek to enter in, and will not be able.
24 "Ymegnwch i fynd i mewn trwy'r drws cul, oherwydd rwy'n dweud wrthych y bydd llawer yn ceisio mynd i mewn ac yn methu.
25 When once the master of the house has risen up, and has shut the door, and you begin to stand outside, and to knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ then he will answer and tell you, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’
25 Unwaith y bydd meistr y tu375? wedi codi a chau'r drws, gallwch chwithau sefyll y tu allan a churo ar y drws, gan ddweud, 'Arglwydd, agor inni'; ond bydd ef yn eich ateb, 'Ni wn o ble'r ydych.'
26 Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’
26 Yna dechreuwch ddweud, 'Buom yn bwyta ac yn yfed gyda thi, a buost ti yn dysgu yn ein strydoedd ni.'
27 He will say, ‘I tell you, I don’t know where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity.’
27 A dywed ef wrthych, 'Ni wn o ble'r ydych. Ewch ymaith oddi wrthyf, chwi ddrwgweithredwyr oll.'
28 There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets, in the Kingdom of God, and yourselves being thrown outside.
28 Bydd yno wylo a rhincian dannedd, pan welwch Abraham ac Isaac a Jacob a'r holl broffwydi yn nheyrnas Dduw, a chwithau'n cael eich bwrw allan.
29 They will come from the east, west, north, and south, and will sit down in the Kingdom of God.
29 A daw rhai o'r dwyrain a'r gorllewin ac o'r gogledd a'r de, a chymryd eu lle yn y wledd yn nheyrnas Dduw.
30 Behold, there are some who are last who will be first, and there are some who are first who will be last.”
30 Ac yn wir, bydd rhai sy'n olaf yn flaenaf, a rhai sy'n flaenaf yn olaf."
31On that same day, some Pharisees came, saying to him, “Get out of here, and go away, for Herod wants to kill you.”
31 Y pryd hwnnw, daeth rhai Phariseaid ato a dweud wrtho, "Dos i ffwrdd oddi yma, oherwydd y mae Herod 'i fryd ar dy ladd di."
32He said to them, “Go and tell that fox, ‘Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I complete my mission.
32 Meddai ef wrthynt, "Ewch a dywedwch wrth y cadno hwnnw, 'Heddiw ac yfory byddaf yn bwrw allan gythreuliaid ac yn iachu, a'r trydydd dydd cyrhaeddaf gyflawniad fy ngwaith.'
33 Nevertheless I must go on my way today and tomorrow and the next day, for it can’t be that a prophet perish outside of Jerusalem.’
33 Eto, heddiw ac yfory a thrennydd y mae'n rhaid imi fynd ar fy nhaith, oherwydd ni ddichon i broffwyd farw y tu allan i Jerwsalem.
34 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, like a hen gathers her own brood under her wings, and you refused!
34 Jerwsalem, Jerwsalem, tydi sy'n lladd y proffwydi ac yn llabyddio'r rhai a anfonwyd atat, mor aml y dymunais gasglu dy blant ynghyd, fel y mae ir yn casglu ei chywion dan ei hadenydd, ond gwrthod a wnaethoch.
35 Behold, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you, you will not see me, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’” Psalm 118:26
35 Wele, y mae eich tu375? yn cael ei adael yn anghyfannedd. Ac rwy'n dweud wrthych, ni chewch fy ngweld hyd y dydd pan ddywedwch, 'Bendigedig yw'r un sy'n dod yn enw'r Arglwydd.'"
