1When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
1 Pan agorodd yr Oen y seithfed sl, bu distawrwydd yn y nef am tua hanner awr.
2I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
2 Yna gwelais y saith angel sy'n sefyll gerbron Duw; a rhoddwyd iddynt saith utgorn.
3Another angel came and stood over the altar, having a golden censer. Much incense was given to him, that he should add it to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar which was before the throne.
3 Daeth angel arall, a safodd wrth yr allor thuser aur yn ei law. Rhoddwyd iddo ddigonedd o arogldarth i'w offrymu gyda gweddau'r holl saint ar yr allor aur oedd o flaen yr orsedd.
4The smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up before God out of the angel’s hand.
4 O law yr angel esgynnodd mwg yr arogldarth gerbron Duw gyda gweddau'r saint.
5The angel took the censer, and he filled it with the fire of the altar, and threw it on the earth. There followed thunders, sounds, lightnings, and an earthquake.
5 Cymerodd yr angel y thuser, a llanwodd hi thn o'r allor a'i thaflu ar y ddaear; ac yna bu su373?n taranau a fflachiadau mellt a daeargryn.
6The seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
6 Paratdd y saith angel, yr oedd y saith utgorn ganddynt, i'w seinio.
7The first sounded, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. One third of the earth was burnt up, TR omits “One third of the earth was burnt up” and one third of the trees were burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
7 Seiniodd y cyntaf ei utgorn. Yna daeth cenllysg a thn, yn gymysg gwaed, ac fe'u bwriwyd ar y ddaear. Llosgwyd traean o'r ddaear, llosgwyd traean o'r coed, llosgwyd pob porfa las.
8The second angel sounded, and something like a great burning mountain was thrown into the sea. One third of the sea became blood,
8 Seiniodd yr ail angel ei utgorn. Yna taflwyd i'r mr rywbeth tebyg i fynydd mawr yn llosgi'n dn. Trodd traean o'r mr yn waed,
9and one third of the living creatures which were in the sea died. One third of the ships were destroyed.
9 a bu farw traean o greaduriaid byw y mr, a dinistriwyd traean o'r llongau.
10The third angel sounded, and a great star fell from the sky, burning like a torch, and it fell on one third of the rivers, and on the springs of the waters.
10 Seiniodd y trydydd angel ei utgorn. Yna syrthiodd o'r nef seren fawr yn llosgi fel ffagl; syrthiodd ar draean o'r afonydd ac ar ffynhonnau'r dyfroedd.
11The name of the star is called “Wormwood.” One third of the waters became wormwood. Many people died from the waters, because they were made bitter.
11 Enw'r seren yw Wermod, a throdd traean o'r dyfroedd yn wermod, a bu farw llawer o bobl o achos chwerwi'r dyfroedd.
12The fourth angel sounded, and one third of the sun was struck, and one third of the moon, and one third of the stars; so that one third of them would be darkened, and the day wouldn’t shine for one third of it, and the night in the same way.
13I saw, and I heard an eagle, TR reads “angel” instead of “eagle” flying in mid heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe! Woe! Woe for those who dwell on the earth, because of the other voices of the trumpets of the three angels, who are yet to sound!”
13 Edrychais, a chlywais eryr yn hedfan yng nghanol y nef ac yn llefain llais uchel, "Gwae, gwae, gwae drigolion y ddaear o achos seiniau'r utgyrn eraill y mae'r tri angel eto i'w seinio!"
