¹It happened on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;

¹Den ottende Dag kaldte Moses Aron og hans Sønner og Israels Ældste til sig

²and he said to Aaron, “Take a calf from the herd for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before Yahweh.

²og sagde til Aron: "Tag dig en Kalv til Syndoffer og en Væder til Brændoffer, begge uden Lyde, og før dem frem for HERRENs Åsyn.

³You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘Take a male goat for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both a year old, without blemish, for a burnt offering;

³Og tal således til Israeliterne: Tag eder en Gedebuk til Syndoffer, en Kalv og et Lam, begge årgamle og uden Lyde, til Brændoffer

⁴and a bull and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before Yahweh; and a meal offering mixed with oil: for today Yahweh appears to you.’”

⁴og en Okse og en Væder til Takoffer for at ofre dem for HERRENs Åsyn og desuden et Afgrødeoffer, rørt i Olie; thi i Dag vil HERREN vise sig for eder!"

⁵They brought what Moses commanded before the Tent of Meeting: and all the congregation drew near and stood before Yahweh.

⁵Da tog de, hvad Moses havde pålagt dem, og bragte det hen foran Åbenbaringsteltet; og hele Menigheden trådte frem og stillede sig for HERRENs Åsyn.

⁶Moses said, “This is the thing which Yahweh commanded that you should do: and the glory of Yahweh shall appear to you.”

⁶Og Moses sagde: "Det er dette, HERREN har pålagt eder at gøre, for at HERRENs Herlighed kan vise sig for eder."

⁷Moses said to Aaron, “Draw near to the altar, and offer your sin offering, and your burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself, and for the people; and offer the offering of the people, and make atonement for them; as Yahweh commanded.”

⁷Så sagde Moses til Aron: "Træd hen til Alteret og bring dit Syndoffer og dit Brændoffer for at skaffe dig og dit Hus Soning og bring så Folkets Offergave for at skaffe det Soning, således som HERREN har påbudt!"

⁸So Aaron drew near to the altar, and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.

⁸Da trådte Aron hen til Alteret og slagtede sin Syndofferkalv;

⁹The sons of Aaron presented the blood to him; and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar:

⁹og Arons Sønner bragte ham Blodet, og han dyppede sin Finger i Blodet og strøg det på Alterets Horn; men Resten af Blodet hældte han ud ved Alterets Fod.

¹⁰but the fat, and the kidneys, and the cover from the liver of the sin offering, he burned upon the altar; as Yahweh commanded Moses.

¹⁰Derpå bragte han Syndofferets Fedt, Nyrer og Leverlap som Røgoffer på Alteret, således som HERREN havde pålagt Moses;

¹¹The flesh and the skin he burned with fire outside the camp.

¹¹men Kødet og Huden opbrændte han uden for Lejren.

¹²He killed the burnt offering; and Aaron’s sons delivered the blood to him, and he sprinkled it around on the altar.

¹²Derefter slagtede han Brændofferet, og Arons Sønner rakte ham Blodet, og han sprængte det rundt om på Alteret.

¹³They delivered the burnt offering to him, piece by piece, and the head: and he burned them upon the altar.

¹³Så rakte de ham Brændofferet, Stykke for Stykke, tillige med Hovedet, og han bragte det som Røgoffer på Alteret.

¹⁴He washed the innards and the legs, and burned them on the burnt offering on the altar.

¹⁴Men Indvoldene og Skinnebenene tvættede han med Vand og bragte det derpå som Røgoffer oven på Brændofferet på Alteret.

¹⁵He presented the people’s offering, and took the goat of the sin offering which was for the people, and killed it, and offered it for sin, like the first.

¹⁵Derefter frembar han Folkets Offergave. Først tog han Folkets Syndofferbuk, slagtede den og ofrede den som Syndoffer på samme Måde som den før nævnte;

¹⁶He presented the burnt offering, and offered it according to the ordinance.

¹⁶så frembar han Brændofferet og ofrede det på den foreskrevne Måde;

¹⁷He presented the meal offering, and filled his hand from there, and burned it upon the altar, besides the burnt offering of the morning.

¹⁷derefter frembar han Afgrødeofferet, tog en Håndfuld deraf og bragte det som Røgoffer på Alteret foruden det daglige Morgenbrændoffer;

¹⁸He also killed the bull and the ram, the sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron’s sons delivered to him the blood, which he sprinkled around on the altar,

¹⁸så slagtede han Oksen og Væderen som Takoffer fra Folket. Og Arons Sønner rakte ham Blodet, og han sprængte det rundt om på Alteret.

¹⁹and the fat of the bull and of the ram, the fat tail, and that which covers the innards, and the kidneys, and the cover of the liver:

¹⁹Men Fedtstykkerne af Oksen og Væderen, Fedthalen, Fedtet på Indvoldene, Nyrerne og Leverlappen,

²⁰and they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burned the fat on the altar:

²⁰disse Fedtdele lagde de oven på Bryststykkerne, og Fedtstykkerne bragte han som Røgoffer på Alteret,

²¹and the breasts and the right thigh Aaron waved for a wave offering before Yahweh, as Moses commanded.

²¹men med Bryststykkerne og højre Kølle udførte Aron Svingningen for HERRENs Åsyn, som Moses havde påbudt.

²²Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people, and blessed them; and he came down from offering the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings.

²²Derefter løftede Aron sine Hænder over Folket og velsignede dem og steg så ned efter at have bragt Syndofferet, Brændofferet og Takofferet.

²³Moses and Aaron went into the Tent of Meeting, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of Yahweh appeared to all the people.

²³Moses og Aron gik derpå ind i Åbenbaringsteltet, og da de kom ud derfra, velsignede de Folket. Da viste HERRENs Herlighed sig for alt Folket;

²⁴There came forth fire from before Yahweh, and consumed the burnt offering and the fat upon the altar: and when all the people saw it, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

²⁴og Ild for ud fra HERRENs Åsyn og fortærede Brændofferet og Fedtstykkerne på Alteret. Og alt Folket så det, og de jublede og faldt ned på deres Ansigt.
