1Then he brought me back by the way of the outer gate of the sanctuary, which looks toward the east; and it was shut.
1بعد آن مرد مرا دوباره به دروازۀ خارجی عبادتگاه که رو به مشرق بود، بُرد.
2Yahweh said to me, This gate shall be shut; it shall not be opened, neither shall any man enter in by it; for Yahweh, the God of Israel, has entered in by it; therefore it shall be shut.
2خداوند به من فرمود: «این دروازه باید همیشه بسته باشد و هیچ کسی اجازه ندارد که آن را باز کند، زیرا من، خداوند که خدای اسرائیل هستم از آن داخل شده ام، بنابران آن دروازه همیشه بسته بماند.
3As for the prince, he shall sit therein as prince to eat bread before Yahweh; he shall enter by the way of the porch of the gate, and shall go out by the way of the same.
3تنها رئیس، چون ریاست قوم را بعهده دارد، می تواند در داخل آن بنشیند و در حضور من از خوراک مقدس بخورد، اما او فقط از طریق راه دخول اطاق بزرگ داخل شود و از همان راه بیرون برود.»
4Then he brought me by the way of the north gate before the house; and I looked, and behold, the glory of Yahweh filled the house of Yahweh: and I fell on my face.
4بعد مرا از آنجا از راه دروازۀ شمالی به پیشروی عبادتگاه آورد. در آنجا دیدم که جلال حضور خداوند عبادتگاه را پُر کرد. من رو بخاک افتادم و سجده کردم.
5Yahweh said to me, Son of man, mark well, and see with your eyes, and hear with your ears all that I tell you concerning all the ordinances of the house of Yahweh, and all its laws; and mark well the entrance of the house, with every exit of the sanctuary.
5خداوند به من فرمود: «ای انسان خاکی، به آنچه که می بینی و می شنوی بدقت توجه کن و قوانین و مقررات عبادتگاه مرا بجا آور و باید بدانی که چه اشخاصی داخل عبادتگاه شده می توانند و چه کسانی نمی توانند.
6You shall tell the rebellious, even to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: you house of Israel, let it suffice you of all your abominations,
6به قومِ نافرمان اسرائیل بگو خداوند متعال می فرماید: ای بنی اسرائیل، شما باید به کارهای زشت و قبیح تان خاتمه بدهید،
7in that you have brought in foreigners, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to profane it, even my house, when you offer my bread, the fat and the blood, and they have broken my covenant, to add to all your abominations.
7زیرا وقتی برای من گوشت و خون قربانی را تقدیم می کنید، به مردم بیگانه و نامختون اجازه می دهید که به عبادتگاه بیایند و آن را نجس سازند. با این اعمال گناه آلود تان پیمان مرا شکسته اید.
8You have not performed the duty of my holy things; but you have set performers of my duty in my sanctuary for yourselves.
8وظایف مقدسی را که به شما سپرده بودم اجراء نکرده اید، بلکه در عوض اشخاص بیگانه را مأمور ساخته اید تا امور عبادتگاه مرا اداره نمایند.»
9Thus says the Lord Yahweh, No foreigner, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any foreigners who are among the children of Israel.
9خداوند متعال می فرماید: «اشخاص بیگانه و نامختون و نافرمان و حتی بیگانگانی که در بین قوم اسرائیل زندگی می کنند، حق ندارند که به عبادتگاه من داخل شوند.
10But the Levites who went far from me, when Israel went astray, who went astray from me after their idols, they shall bear their iniquity.
10من آن لاویانی را که همراه با سایر مردم، مرا ترک کردند و به دنبال بتها رفتند، جزا می دهم.
11Yet they shall be ministers in my sanctuary, having oversight at the gates of the house, and ministering in the house: they shall kill the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister to them.
11آن ها می توانند از دروازه های عبادتگاه مراقبت کنند و کارهای آن را اجراء نمایند. آن ها حیواناتی را که مردم جهت قربانی سوختنی می آورند ذبح کنند و در خدمت مردم باشند.
12Because they ministered to them before their idols, and became a stumbling block of iniquity to the house of Israel; therefore have I lifted up my hand against them, says the Lord Yahweh, and they shall bear their iniquity.
12اما بخاطریکه آن ها قوم اسرائیل را به بت پرستی تشویق کردند و بسوی گناه کشاندند، بنابران من، خداوند، قسم خورده ام که آن ها را به سزای اعمال شان برسانم.
13They shall not come near to me, to execute the office of priest to me, nor to come near to any of my holy things, to the things that are most holy; but they shall bear their shame, and their abominations which they have committed.
13آن ها دیگر نمی توانند به من نزدیک شوند، بعنوان کاهن مرا خدمت کنند و یا به چیزهائی که مقدسند دست بزنند. پس آن ها باید جزای گناهانی را که مرتکب شده اند ببینند.
14Yet will I make them performers of the duty of the house, for all its service, and for all that shall be done therein.
14با اینهم می توانند در عبادتگاه من مشغول خدمت باشند، وظایفی را که بدوش دارند اجراء نمایند و به همه کارهای دیگر آن رسیدگی کنند.»
15But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, who performed the duty of my sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister to me; and they shall stand before me to offer to me the fat and the blood, says the Lord Yahweh:
15خداوند متعال فرمود: «وقتی سایر قوم اسرائیل مرا ترک کردند و گمراه شدند، از قبیلۀ لاوی تنها اولادۀ صادوق به وظیفۀ کاهنی خود ادامه دادند. لهذا فقط آن ها اجازه دارند که بحضور من بیایند و مرا خدمت کنند قربانی ها را تقدیم نمایند.
16they shall enter into my sanctuary, and they shall come near to my table, to minister to me, and they shall keep my instruction.
16تنها آن ها می توانند که به داخل عبادتگاه من بیایند، به قربانگاه من نزدیک شوند و مراسم عبادت را نظارت کنند.
17It shall be that, when they enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and no wool shall come on them, while they minister in the gates of the inner court, and within.
17وقتی به حویلی داخلی وارد می شوند، باید لباس کتان بپوشند و هنگام خدمت در آنجا نباید هیچ لباسی پشمی به تن داشته باشد.
18They shall have linen tires on their heads, and shall have linen breeches on their waists; they shall not clothe themselves with anything that causes sweat.
18برای اینکه عرق نکنند، باید دستار و زیر جامۀ کتان بپوشند.
19When they go forth into the outer court, even into the outer court to the people, they shall put off their garments in which they minister, and lay them in the holy rooms; and they shall put on other garments, that they not sanctify the people with their garments.
19پیش از آنکه به حویلی بیرونی پیش مردم بروند، لباس خدمت را از تن بیرون کنند و در اطاقهای مقدس بگذارند و لباس عادی بپوشند، مبادا مردم با تماس به لباسِ مقدسِ آن ها صدمه ببینند.
20Neither shall they shave their heads, nor allow their locks to grow long; they shall only cut off the hair of their heads.
20کاهنان نباید موی سر خود را بتراشند و یا موی دراز داشته باشند، بلکه آن را باید کوتاه کنند.
21Neither shall any of the priests drink wine, when they enter into the inner court.
21کاهن پیش از داخل شدن به حویلی داخلی نباید شراب بنوشد.
22Neither shall they take for their wives a widow, nor her who is put away; but they shall take virgins of the seed of the house of Israel, or a widow who is the widow of a priest.
22او نباید با زن بیوه یا طلاق شده ازدواج کند، بلکه یک دختر باکرۀ اسرائیلی یا بیوه ای را که شوهرش کاهن بوده باشد به همسری خود انتخاب نماید.
23They shall teach my people the difference between the holy and the common, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.
23کاهنان باید فرق بین چیزهای مقدس و غیر مقدس را به قوم برگزیدۀ من تعلیم بدهند و به آن ها بگویند که چه چیزی شرعاً پاک است و چه چیزی پاک نیست.
24In a controversy they shall stand to judge; according to my ordinances shall they judge it: and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all my appointed feasts; and they shall make my Sabbaths holy.
24به عنوان قاضی دعوای مردم را حل و فصل نمایند و هر فیصلۀ که می کنند باید بر اساس قانون باشد. در مراسم برگزاری عیدها قوانین و فرایض مرا بجا آورند و حرمت روز سبت مرا نگاهدارند.
25They shall go in to no dead person to defile themselves; but for father, or for mother, or for son, or for daughter, for brother, or for sister who has had no husband, they may defile themselves.
25کاهن نباید با نزدیک شدن به جنازه ای خود را نجس سازد، مگر اینکه جنازۀ پدر، مادر، پسر، دختر، برادر و یا خواهرش که شوهر نکرده، باشد.
26After he is cleansed, they shall reckon to him seven days.
26بعد از طاهر شدن باید هفت روز صبر کند و بعد می تواند دوباره به وظایف خود در عبادتگاه بپردازد. من، خداوند متعال، این را گفته ام.»
27In the day that he goes into the sanctuary, into the inner court, to minister in the sanctuary, he shall offer his sin offering, says the Lord Yahweh.
27خداوند متعال می فرماید: «در آن روز وقتی کاهن برای خدمت به حویلی داخلی عبادتگاه وارد می شود، باید برای خود قربانی گناه تقدیم کند.
28They shall have an inheritance: I am their inheritance; and you shall give them no possession in Israel; I am their possession.
28کاهنان نباید در بین قوم اسرائیل مِلک و میراثی داشته باشند، زیرا من مِلک و میراث آن ها هستم.
29They shall eat the meal offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; and every devoted thing in Israel shall be theirs.
29آن ها می توانند از هدایای آردی و قربانی های جُرم و گناه و هر چیز دیگری که مردم وقف من می کنند برای خوراک خود استفاده نمایند.
30The first of all the first fruits of every thing, and every offering of everything, of all your offerings, shall be for the priest: you shall also give to the priests the first of your dough, to cause a blessing to rest on your house.
30محصولاتِ اول باغ و زمین و تمام هدایای دیگری که به من تقدیم می شوند به کاهنان تعلق می گیرند، تا من خانه های مردم را برکت بدهم.کاهنان نباید گوشت پرنده و حیوانی را که مُرده یا بوسیلۀ جانوری دریده شده باشد، بخورند.»
31The priests shall not eat of anything that dies of itself, or is torn, whether it be bird or animal.
31کاهنان نباید گوشت پرنده و حیوانی را که مُرده یا بوسیلۀ جانوری دریده شده باشد، بخورند.»
