1He brought me back to the door of the house; and behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward; (for the forefront of the house was toward the east;) and the waters came down from under, from the right side of the house, on the south of the altar.
1آن مرد مرا دوباره به راه دخول عبادتگاه آورد. دیدم که دریائی از زیر راه دخول عبادتگاه به طرف شرق جاریست و از سمت راست عبادتگاه، یعنی از قسمت جنوبی قربانگاه می گذرد.
2Then he brought me out by the way of the gate northward, and led me round by the way outside to the outer gate, by the way of the gate that looks toward the east; and behold, there ran out waters on the right side.
2بعد مرا از راه دروازۀ شمالی بیرون آورد و از آنجا دور زده به دروازۀ حویلی بیرونی که در سمت شرق است، رفتیم. در آنجا دیدم که آب دریا از قسمت جنوبی دروازۀ شرقی جاری بود.
3When the man went forth eastward with the line in his hand, he measured one thousand cubits, and he caused me to pass through the waters, waters that were to the ankles.
3آن مرد با چوب اندازه گیری پنجصد متر طول دریا را به طرف شرق اندازه کرد و از آن نقطه مرا از آب عبور داد. آب دریا تا بند پایم بود.
4Again he measured one thousand, and caused me to pass through the waters, waters that were to the knees. Again he measured one thousand, and caused me to pass through the waters, waters that were to the waist.
4بعد پنجصد متر دیگر طول دریا را اندازه گرفت و به من کمک کرد تا از دریا عبور کنم. در این نقطه، آب تا زانوهایم می رسید. پنجصد متر دورتر از آنجا عمق آب تا به کمر بود.
5Afterward he measured one thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass through; for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed through.
5باز پنجصد متر دیگر پیش رفت و در اینجا دریا بسیار عمیق بود و نتوانستم از آن عبور کنم و لازم بود که شنا کنان به آن طرف دریا بگذرم.
6He said to me, Son of man, have you seen this? Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the bank of the river.
6آن مرد به من گفت: «ای انسان خاکی، به آنچه که دیدی بدقت توجه کن.»
بعد او مرا از کنار دریا باز گرداند.
7Now when I had returned, behold, on the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other.
7در هنگام بازگشت دیدم که درختان زیادی در دو طرف دریا سبز شده اند.
8Then he said to me, These waters issue forth toward the eastern region, and shall go down into the Arabah; and they shall go toward the sea; into the sea shall the waters go which were made to issue forth; and the waters shall be healed.
8او به من گفت: «آب این دریا از بیابان و وادی اُردن بطرف شرق جاریست و به بحیرۀ مُرده سرازیر می شود و آب شور آن را پاک و گوارا می سازد.
9It shall happen, that every living creature which swarms, in every place where the rivers come, shall live; and there shall be a very great multitude of fish; for these waters have come there, and the waters of the sea shall be healed, and everything shall live wherever the river comes.
9در هر جائی که آب این دریا جاری گردد، در آنجا هرگونه حیوان و ماهی، زنده جان می شود. ماهیان بحیرۀ مرده از حد زیاده می گردند.
10It shall happen, that fishermen shall stand by it: from En Gedi even to En Eglaim shall be a place for the spreading of nets; their fish shall be after their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceeding many.
10ماهیگیران در ساحل آن می ایستند و از چشمۀ جدی تا چشمۀ عجلایم ماهی می گیرند. تورهای خود را در آنجا پهن می کنند. بحیرۀ مُرده مثل بحر مدیترانه پُر از انواع گوناگون ماهی می شود.
11But the miry places of it, and its marshes, shall not be healed; they shall be given up to salt.
11اما آب جبه زارها و نیزارها پاک نمی شود و بصورت شوره زار باقی می ماند.
12By the river on its bank, on this side and on that side, shall grow every tree for food, whose leaf shall not wither, neither shall its fruit fail: it shall bring forth new fruit every month, because its waters issue out of the sanctuary; and its fruit shall be for food, and its leaf for healing.
12در هر دو طرف دریا اقسام درختها می رویند که برگهای شان هرگز پژمرده نمی شوند و همیشه میوه دار بوده هر ماه میوۀ تازه بار می آورند. زیرا با آب دریائی که از عبادتگاه خداوند جاریست آبیاری می شوند و میوه های شان خوراک و برگهای آن ها شفابخش می باشند.»
13Thus says the Lord Yahweh: This shall be the border, by which you shall divide the land for inheritance according to the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph shall have two portions.
13خداوند متعال می فرماید: «سرزمین اسرائیل باید بین دوازده قبیلۀ اسرائیل تقسیم گردد، اما به قبیلۀ یوسف دو حصه داده شود.
14You shall inherit it, one as well as another; for I swore to give it to your fathers: and this land shall fall to you for inheritance.
14من به اجداد تان قول داده بودم که این سرزمین را به آن ها بدهم، پس حالا این زمین به شما تعلق دارد.
15This shall be the border of the land: On the north side, from the great sea, by the way of Hethlon, to the entrance of Zedad;
15سرحد شمالی از بحیرۀ مدیترانه تا شهر حتلون و از آنجا تا گذرگاه حمات و تا شهر صدد ادامه می یابد.
16Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim, which is between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath; Hazer Hatticon, which is by the border of Hauran.
16بعد جانب بِروته و سبرایم که بین سرحد دمشق و حمات واقع اند پیش می رود و به شهر تیگن که در سرحد حوران است می رسد.
17The border from the sea, shall be Hazar Enon at the border of Damascus; and on the north northward is the border of Hamath. This is the north side.
17بنابران سرحد شمالی از بحیرۀ مدیترانه تا شهر عینون در شرق بوده حمات و دمشق در سمت شمال آن قرار دارند.
18The east side, between Hauran and Damascus and Gilead, and the land of Israel, shall be the Jordan; from the north border to the east sea you shall measure. This is the east side.
18سرحد شرقی، از شهر حوران تا دمشق ادامه می یابد. از آنجا به طرف غرب دور خورده به دماغۀ جنوب بحیرۀ جلیل به دریای اُردن می رسد. از آن نقطه در امتداد دریای اُردن پیش می رود و از کنار بحیرۀ مرده گذشته به تامار ختم می شود و کشور اسرائیل را از جلعاد جدا می کند.
19The south side southward shall be from Tamar as far as the waters of Meriboth Kadesh, to the brook of Egypt, to the great sea. This is the south side southward.
19سرحد جنوبی، از تامار تا چشمه های مریبوت قادِش می رسد و از آنجا در مسیر دریای سرحدی مصر پیش رفته به بحیرۀ مدیترانه ختم می شود.
20The west side shall be the great sea, from the south border as far as over against the entrance of Hamath. This is the west side.
20سرحد غربی، در امتداد بحیرۀ مدیترانه پیش رفته به طرف شمال تا نقطۀ غربی گذرگاه حمات ادامه می یابد.
21So you shall divide this land to you according to the tribes of Israel.
21این زمین را بین قبایل اسرائیل تقسیم کن
22It shall happen, that you shall divide it by lot for an inheritance to you and to the aliens who live among you, who shall father children among you; and they shall be to you as the native-born among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.
22و آن را بعنوان مِلکیت دایمی برای خود نگاهدارید. بیگانه ها و فرزندان شان که بین شما زندگی می کنند هم باید از آن سهمی داشته باشند. آن ها مثل شما تبعۀ اسرائیل بشمار می روند و همان حقی را که شما دارید آن ها نیز دارند.به بیگانه ها باید از زمینهای قبیله ای که در آن زندگی می کنند سهمی داده شود. خداوند متعال چنین می فرماید.»
23It shall happen, that in what tribe the stranger lives, there you shall give him his inheritance, says the Lord Yahweh.
