¹Paul, an apostle (not from men, neither through man, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead),

¹از طرف پولُس رسول که رسالت خود را نه از جانب انسان و نه به وسیلۀ کسی به دست آورد، بلکه از طرف عیسی مسیح و خدای پدر که مسیح را پس از مرگ زنده گردانید، رسول شده است.

²and all the brothers The word for “brothers” here and where context allows may also be correctly translated “brothers and sisters” or “siblings.” who are with me, to the assemblies of Galatia:

²تمام برادرانی که با من هستند به کلیساهای غلاتیه سلام می رسانند.

³Grace to you and peace from God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ,

³از طرف خدا، پدر ما، و عیسی مسیح خداوند ما فیض و سلامتی بر شما باد.

⁴who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father—

⁴همان عیسی که جان خود را برای گناهان ما داد تا مطابق ارادۀ پدر ما خدا، ما را از این زمانۀ شریر برهاند.

⁵to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

⁵خدا را تا به ابد جلال باد. آمین.

⁶I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different “good news”;

⁶من از این تعجب می کنم که شما به این زودی از آن کسی که شما را به فیض مسیح دعوت کرده است روی گردان شده اید و اکنون از انجیل دیگری پیروی می کنید!

⁷and there isn’t another “good news.” Only there are some who trouble you, and want to pervert the Good News of Christ.

⁷در صورتی که انجیل دیگری وجود ندارد، اما عده ای هستند که می خواهند شما را پریشان سازند و انجیل مسیح را تحریف نمایند.

⁸But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you any “good news” other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed.

⁸حتی اگر ما یا فرشته ای از آسمان، انجیلی غیر از آنچه ما اعلام کردیم بیاورد، بر او لعنت باد!

⁹As we have said before, so I now say again: if any man preaches to you any “good news” other than that which you received, let him be cursed.

⁹چنانکه قبلاً گفته بودم باز هم تکرار می کنم: «هر کسی که انجیلی غیر از آنچه پذیرفتید بیاورد، بر او لعنت باد.»

¹⁰For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn’t be a servant of Christ.

¹⁰آیا این سخن می رساند که من رضایت آدمیان را می خواهم؟ نخیر! من فقط رضایت خدا را می خواهم و آیا قصدم خوشنود ساختن مردم است؟ اگر تا کنون قصدم این می بود، خادم مسیح نمی بودم!

¹¹But I make known to you, brothers, concerning the Good News which was preached by me, that it is not according to man.

¹¹ای برادران، می خواهم بدانید انجیلی که من به شما دادم، ساخته و پرداخته دست انسان نیست.

¹²For neither did I receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came to me through revelation of Jesus Christ.

¹²من آن را از کسی نگرفتم و کسی هم آن را به من نیاموخت بلکه عیسی مسیح به وسیلۀ الهام آن را به من آشکار ساخت.

¹³For you have heard of my way of living in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the assembly of God, and ravaged it.

¹³سرگذشت و اعمال سابق مرا در دین یهود شنیده اید که چگونه با بی رحمی به کلیسای خدا آزار می رسانیدم و در نابود ساختن آن می کوشیدم.

¹⁴I advanced in the Jews’ religion beyond many of my own age among my countrymen, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.

¹⁴و در رعایت دیانت یهود از تمام یهودیانِ هم سن خود پیشی می گرفتم و خیلی بیشتر از آن ها در اجرای تعلیمات نیاکان خود متعصب بودم.

¹⁵But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me through his grace,

¹⁵اما وقتی خدا که مرا پیش از تولد برگزیده و به وسیلۀ فیض خود مرا دعوت کرده بود، صلاح دانست

¹⁶to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I didn’t immediately confer with flesh and blood,

¹⁶که پسر خود را در من ظاهر سازد تا بشارت او را به مردم غیر یهود برسانم، به عوض اینکه با کسی مشورت کنم

¹⁷nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia. Then I returned to Damascus.

¹⁷یا به اورشلیم نزد آنانی که قبل از من رسول بودند بروم، فوراً به عربستان رفتم و بعد به دمشق باز گشتم.

¹⁸Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Peter, and stayed with him fifteen days.

¹⁸بعد از سه سال به اورشلیم برگشتم تا با پِترُس آشنا شوم و مدت پانزده روز نزد او ماندم.

¹⁹But of the other apostles I saw no one, except James, the Lord’s brother.

¹⁹هیچ رسول دیگری را جز یعقوب، برادر خداوند ندیدم.

²⁰Now about the things which I write to you, behold, before God, I’m not lying.

²⁰آنچه به شما می نویسم عین حقیقت است و خدا شاهد است که دروغ نمی گویم.

²¹Then I came to the regions of Syria and Cilicia.

²¹بعداً به نواحی سوریه و قلیقیه رفتم

²²I was still unknown by face to the assemblies of Judea which were in Christ,

²²و کلیساهای مسیح در یهودیه مرا شخصاً نمی شناختند

²³but they only heard: “He who once persecuted us now preaches the faith that he once tried to destroy.”

²³فقط می شنیدند که: «آن کسی که به ما آزار می رسانید اکنون همان ایمانی را بشارت می دهد که زمانی می کوشید آن را از بین ببرد.»و خدا را به خاطر من سپاس می گفتند.

²⁴And they glorified God in me.

²⁴و خدا را به خاطر من سپاس می گفتند.
