¹A shoot will come out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots will bear fruit.

¹شاخه ای از تنۀ درخت خانوادۀ یسی جوانه می زند و از ریشۀ آن نهالی نمو می کند.

²The Spirit of Yahweh will rest on him: the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Yahweh.

²روح خداوند که روح حکمت و دانش، روح مشورت و قدرت و روح معرفت و ترس از خداوند است، بر او قرار می گیرد.

³His delight will be in the fear of Yahweh. He will not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears;

³تمام خوشی او ترس و اطاعت از خداوند می باشد. او مطابق آنچه که چشمش می بیند و گوشش می شنود داوری نمی کند.

⁴but with righteousness he will judge the poor, and decide with equity for the humble of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips he will kill the wicked.

⁴بلکه بر اساس عدالت به داد مردمان فقیر و حلیم می رسد و اشخاص شریر را که بر آن ها ظلم می کنند، جزا می دهد

⁵Righteousness will be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his waist.

⁵و با انصاف و راستی حکومت می نماید.

⁶The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat; The calf, the young lion, and the fattened calf together; and a little child will lead them.

⁶در دوران حکومت او گرگ با بره زندگی می کند، پلنگ در کنار بزغاله می خوابد، گوساله با شیر قدم می زند و طفل کوچکی آن ها را می راند.

⁷The cow and the bear will graze. Their young ones will lie down together. The lion will eat straw like the ox.

⁷گاو و خرس یکجا می چرند، چوچه های شان در کنار هم می خوابند و شیر مثل گاو علف می خورد.

⁸The nursing child will play near a cobra’s hole, and the weaned child will put his hand on the viper’s den.

⁸طفل شیرخوار در غار مار بازی می کند، طفلی که از شیر جدا شده باشد دست خود را در لانۀ اژدها می برد.

⁹They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth will be full of the knowledge of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea.

⁹در کوه مقدس خدا به هیچ کسی ضرر و صدمه ای نمی رسد، زیرا همان طوریکه بحر از آب پُر است، روی زمین هم پُر از معرفت خداوند می شود.

¹⁰It will happen in that day that the nations will seek the root of Jesse, who stands as a banner of the peoples; and his resting place will be glorious.

¹⁰روزی می آید که پادشاه نو ظهوری از خاندان یسی عَلَمی برای تمام قوم ها خواهد بود. مردم به شهر پُرشکوه او جمع می شوند و او را تجلیل می کنند.

¹¹It will happen in that day that the Lord will set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

¹¹در آن روز خداوند بار دیگر دست خود را دراز می کند و باقیماندۀ قوم برگزیدۀ خود را از کشورهای آشور، مصر، سودان، حبشه، عیلام، بابل، شِنعار، حمات و سواحل و جزیره ها باز می آورد.

¹²He will set up a banner for the nations, and will assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

¹²او عَلَمی را در بین قوم ها بر می افرازد و پراگنده شدگان اسرائیل و یهودا را از هر گوشه و کنار روی زمین جمع می کند.

¹³The envy also of Ephraim will depart, and those who persecute Judah will be cut off. Ephraim won’t envy Judah, and Judah won’t persecute Ephraim.

¹³کینه و دشمنی که بین اسرائیل و یهودا بود از بین می رود و جنگ و خصومت بین آندو وجود نمی داشته باشد،

¹⁴They will fly down on the shoulders of the Philistines on the west. Together they will plunder the children of the east. They will extend their power over Edom and Moab, and the children of Ammon will obey them.

¹⁴بلکه هر دو متفق شده بر فلسطینی ها که در غرب هستند حمله می برند، مال و دارائی مردمانی را که در شرق زندگی می کنند به تاراج می برند، مردم ادوم و موآب را مغلوب می کنند و عمونیان را مُطیع خود می سازند.

¹⁵Yahweh will utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his scorching wind he will wave his hand over the River, and will split it into seven streams, and cause men to march over in sandals.

¹⁵خداوند خلیج دریای مصر را خشک می سازد و دست خود را بر دریای فرات دراز کرده با باد سوزان آنرا به هفت جویبار تقسیم می کند.برای بازماندگان قوم او در آشور شاهراهی خواهند بود تا آن ها مثل اجداد خود که از مصر خارج شدند، به وطن خود برگردند.

¹⁶There will be a highway for the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria, like there was for Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

¹⁶برای بازماندگان قوم او در آشور شاهراهی خواهند بود تا آن ها مثل اجداد خود که از مصر خارج شدند، به وطن خود برگردند.
