1In that day, Yahweh with his hard and great and strong sword will punish leviathan, the fleeing serpent, and leviathan the twisted serpent; and he will kill the dragon that is in the sea.
1در آن روز خداوند با شمشیر کشنده و تیز خود لِویاتان را که یک مار تیزرَو پیچان است، جزا می دهد و آن اژدها را که در بحر است می کشد.
2In that day, sing to her, “A pleasant vineyard!
2در آن روز خداوند در بارۀ تاکستان با ثمر خود می فرماید:
3I, Yahweh, am its keeper. I will water it every moment. Lest anyone damage it, I will keep it night and day.
3«من، خداوند نگهبان این تاکستان هستم و آنرا هر لحظه آبیاری می کنم. شب و روز از آن مراقبت می نمایم تا کسی به آن آسیبی نرساند.
4Wrath is not in me, but if I should find briers and thorns, I would do battle! I would march on them and I would burn them together.
4دیگر بر تاکستان خود قهر نیستم. اگر در آنجا خار و خسی برای جنگ بیاید، من می روم و همه را آتش می زنم.
5Or else let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me. Let him make peace with me.”
5اما اگر دشمنان قوم برگزیدۀ من به من متوسل شوند و تقاضای صلح کنند، بگذارید آن ها هم با من صلح می نمایند.»
6In days to come, Jacob will take root. Israel will blossom and bud. They will fill the surface of the world with fruit.
6زمانی می رسد که اولادۀ یعقوب، یعنی قوم اسرائیل مثل درخت ریشه می دوانند، پُندُک و شگوفه می کنند و دنیا را از میوه پر می سازند.
7Has he struck them as he struck those who struck them? Or are they killed like those who killed them were killed?
7خداوند قوم برگزیدۀ خود را به اندازۀ دشمنان شان جزا نداده است و مردم اسرائیل به اندازۀ آن ها کشته نشده اند.
8In measure, when you send them away, you contend with them. He has removed them with his rough blast in the day of the east wind.
8او برای اینکه قوم اسرائیل را جزا بدهد آن ها را به کشورهای بیگانه تبعید نمود، مثلیکه باد شرقی وزید و آن ها را با خود برد.
9Therefore by this the iniquity of Jacob will be forgiven, and this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: that he makes all the stones of the altar as chalk stones that are beaten in pieces, so that the Asherim and the incense altars shall rise no more.
9اما گناهان قوم اسرائیل زمانی کفاره و بخشیده می شود که سنگهای قربانگاههای بت پرستان ذره ذره گردند و از بت و قربانگاه آن ها اثری باقی نماند.
10For the fortified city is solitary, a habitation deserted and forsaken, like the wilderness. The calf will feed there, and there he will lie down, and consume its branches.
10شهرهای مستحکم متروک و مانند بیابان از سکنه خالی شده اند. آنجا چراگاه گاوها و بیشۀ شیرها شده است و شاخ و برگ آنرا می خورند.
11When its boughs are withered, they will be broken off. The women will come and set them on fire, for they are a people of no understanding. Therefore he who made them will not have compassion on them, and he who formed them will show them no favor.
11شاخهای خشک درختان به زمین می افتند. زن ها می آیند و آن ها را جمع می کنند و می سوزانند. خداوند که خالق آن ها است، بر این قوم رحم و شفقت نمی کند، زیرا آن ها شعور ندارند.
12It will happen in that day, that Yahweh will thresh from the flowing stream of the Euphrates to the brook of Egypt; and you will be gathered one by one, children of Israel.
12در آن روز، خداوند مثل کسی که گندم را دانه دانه از خوشه می چیند و از کاه جدا می نماید، مردم اسرائیل را از دریای فرات تا سرحد مصر جمع می کند.در آن روز، سُرنای بزرگ نواخته می شود و کسانی که در کشورهای آشور و مصر تبعید شده بودند دوباره بر می گردند و خداوند را بر کوه مقدس او در اورشلیم پرستش می کنند.
13It will happen in that day that a great trumpet will be blown; and those who were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and those who were outcasts in the land of Egypt, shall come; and they will worship Yahweh in the holy mountain at Jerusalem.
13در آن روز، سُرنای بزرگ نواخته می شود و کسانی که در کشورهای آشور و مصر تبعید شده بودند دوباره بر می گردند و خداوند را بر کوه مقدس او در اورشلیم پرستش می کنند.
