1Thus says Yahweh, “Keep justice, and do righteousness; for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
1خداوند چنین می فرماید: «عدالت را پیشۀ خود سازید و با صداقت رفتار کنید، زیرا بزودی شما را نجات می دهم و آزاد می سازم.
2Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who holds it fast; who keeps the Sabbath from profaning it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.”
2خوشا بحال انسانی که امر مرا بجا می آورد، روز سبت را تجلیل می کند. آنرا بی حرمت نمی سازد و از هر عمل بد پرهیز می نماید.»
3Neither let the foreigner, who has joined himself to Yahweh, speak, saying, “Yahweh will surely separate me from his people”; neither let the eunuch say, “Behold, I am a dry tree.”
3پس بیگانه ای که با خداوند بپیوندد نگوید: «خداوند به من اجازه نمی دهد که با قوم برگزیدۀ او یکجا عبادت کنم.» یا یک شخص مخنث (حیزک) فکر نکند که او مثل یک درخت خشک و بی ثمر است.
4For thus says Yahweh, “To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and hold fast my covenant:
4زیرا خداوند به چنین اشخاص می فرماید: «اگر آن ها روز سبت را تجلیل کنند، با اعمال نیک خود مرا خوشنود سازند و به پیمان من وفادار بمانند،
5to them I will give in my house and within my walls a memorial and a name better than of sons and of daughters; I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
5آنگاه نام آن ها، پایدارتر از نام کسانی که صاحب فرزند هستند، در عبادتگاه من و در بین قوم برگزیدۀ من باقی می ماند و نام شان تا ابد یاد می شود و فراموش نمی گردد.»
6Also the foreigners who join themselves to Yahweh, to minister to him, and to love the name of Yahweh, to be his servants, everyone who keeps the Sabbath from profaning it, and holds fast my covenant;
6خداوند می فرماید: «مردم غیر یهود که با قوم برگزیدۀ من یکجا شده اند و بندگی مرا می کنند و مرا دوست دارند، اگر روز سبت را تجلیل نمایند و آنرا بی حرمت نسازند و به پیمان من وفادار بمانند،
7even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted on my altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”
7من آن ها را به کوه مقدس خود می آورم و در خانۀ عبادتم شادمان می سازم. قربانیهای سوختنی آن ها را بر قربانگاه خود قبول می کنم و عبادتگاه من خانۀ دعا برای تمام اقوام جهان نامیده می شود.»
8The Lord Yahweh, who gathers the outcasts of Israel, says, “Yet will I gather others to him, besides his own who are gathered.”
8خداوند متعال که قوم اسرائیل را از تبعید به وطن شان باز آورده است، وعده فرموده که اقوام دیگر جهان را هم می آورد تا با آن ها یکجا زندگی کنند.
9All you animals of the field, come to devour, all you animals in the forest.
9ای تمام حیوانات وحشی و حیوانات درندۀ جنگل بیائید و این مردم را بدرید و طعمۀ خود سازید.
10His watchmen are blind, they are all without knowledge; they are all mute dogs, they can’t bark; dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber.
10پهره داران اسرائیل همگی کور هستند و شعور ندارند. آن ها مثل سگهای نگهبان، گنگ هستند ـ دراز می کشند و خواب می بینند.
11Yes, the dogs are greedy, they can never have enough; and these are shepherds who can’t understand: they have all turned to their own way, each one to his gain, from every quarter.
11آن ها سگهای بسیار حریص هستند که هرگز سیر نمی شوند. رهبران آن ها هم بی شعورند و براه و میل خود رفتار می کنند و فقط مفاد خود را در نظر می گیرند و بس.می گویند: «بیائید شراب بیاوریم و بنوشیم و نشئه کنیم. امروز خوش باشیم و فردا هم خوشتر از امروز خواهیم بود.»
12“Come,” say they, “I will get wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow shall be as this day, great beyond measure.”
12می گویند: «بیائید شراب بیاوریم و بنوشیم و نشئه کنیم. امروز خوش باشیم و فردا هم خوشتر از امروز خواهیم بود.»
