1“I am inquired of by those who didn’t ask; I am found by those who didn’t seek me: I said, See me, see me, to a nation that was not called by my name.
1خداوند فرمود: «کسانی مرا یافتند که طالب من نبودند و خود را به کسانی ظاهر ساختم که جویای من نبودند و قومی را که به اسم من نامیده نشده بودند، به حضور خود پذیرفتم.
2I have spread out my hands all the day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, after their own thoughts;
2اما قوم سرکش خودم که همه وقت به آغوش باز منتظر پذیرائی آن ها بودم، به راه راست نرفتند و خواهشهای نفسانی خود را دنبال کردند.
3a people who provoke me to my face continually, sacrificing in gardens, and burning incense on bricks;
3آن ها همیشه مرا خشمگین می سازند. در باغهای خود قربانی می کنند و بر قربانگاه های خشتی بت پرستان خوشبوئی می سوزانند.
4who sit among the graves, and lodge in the secret places; who eat pig’s flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
4شبها در قبرستان ها و غارها می نشینند و از ارواح مردگان کمک می طلبند. گوشت خوک را می خورند و کاسۀ شان پُر از غذای حرام است.
5who say, Stand by yourself, don’t come near to me, for I am holier than you. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burns all the day.
5به دیگران می گویند: «در جای تان بایستید و نزدیک من نیائید، زیرا ما پاک و مقدس هستیم.» اینها مرا از خود بیزار کرده و آتش خشم مرا شعله ور ساخته اند.
6“Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, yes, I will recompense into their bosom,
6من امر محکومیت آن ها را صادر کرده ام و دیگر ساکت نمی نشینم و آن ها را بخاطر خطاهای خود شان و گناهان پدران شان مجازات می کنم. آن ها برای بتهای خود بر کوهها خوشبوئی دود کردند و به من اهانت نمودند، بنابران، آنها را به سزای اعمال شان می رسانم.»
7your own iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together,” says Yahweh, “who have burned incense on the mountains, and blasphemed me on the hills; therefore will I first measure their work into their bosom.”
7خداوند چنین می فرماید: «هیچ کسی تمام خوشۀ انگور را از بین نمی برد، بلکه دانه های خوب آنرا نگاه می دارد. من هم تمام قوم برگزیدۀ خود را هلاک نمی کنم، بلکه آنهائی را که بندگی مرا می کنند، نجات می دهم.
8Thus says Yahweh, “As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says, ‘Don’t destroy it, for a blessing is in it:’ so will I do for my servants’ sake, that I may not destroy them all.
8من از نسل یعقوب و از قبیلۀ یهودا فرزندانی بوجود می آورم که سرزمین کوهستانی مرا تصرف کنند، همیشه مالک آن و بندگان من باشند و مرا خدمت کنند.
9I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains; and my chosen shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.
9دشت شارون چراگاه گله و وادی عاکور استراحتگاه رمۀ آنهائی می شود که در طلب من هستند.
10Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down in, for my people who have sought me.
10اما آن کسانی از شما که مرا ترک کرده و عبادتگاه مرا که بر کوه مقدس قرار دارد از یاد برده اند و خوان رنگین را برای خدای «طالع» و جام شراب را برای خدای «سرنوشت» مهیا می کردند،
11“But you who forsake Yahweh, who forget my holy mountain, who prepare a table for Fortune, and who fill up mixed wine to Destiny;
11عاقبت شومی داشته و با دَم شمشیر کشته می شوند. آن ها به صدای من جواب ندادند و سخنان مرا نشنیدند، بلکه کارهائی کردند که در نظر من زشت بود و راهی را انتخاب کردند که مخالف رضای من بود.
12I will destine you to the sword, and you shall all bow down to the slaughter; because when I called, you didn’t answer; when I spoke, you didn’t listen; but you did that which was evil in my eyes, and chose that in which I didn’t delight.”
12لهذا به شما می گویم که آنهائی که بندگی مرا می کنند، سیر می شوند، ولی شما گرسنه می مانید. آن ها می نوشند، اما شما تشنه می باشید. آن ها خوشی می کنند، مگر شما غمگین و شرمنده می شوید.
13Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh, “Behold, my servants shall eat, but you shall be hungry; behold, my servants shall drink, but you shall be thirsty; behold, my servants shall rejoice, but you shall be disappointed;
13بندگان من از خوشدلی آواز می خوانند، اما شما با دل غمگین گریه و با روح افسرده نوحه می کنید.
14behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but you shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall wail for anguish of spirit.
14نام شما در بین قوم برگزیدۀ من ملعون بوده و من، خداوند، شما را هلاک می کنم و به بندگان خود نام دیگری می دهم.
15You shall leave your name for a curse to my chosen; and the Lord Yahweh will kill you; and he will call his servants by another name:
15هر کسی که برکت بطلبد و قسم بخورد و نام خدای برحق را یاد کند، برکت می بیند، سختیهای گذشته اش فراموش می شود و از بین می رود.»
16so that he who blesses himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he who swears in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hidden from my eyes.
16خداوند می فرماید: «من آسمان و زمین جدیدی بوجود می آورم و همه چیزهای گذشته از خاطره ها فراموش می شوند.
17“For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
17شما از این خلقت جدید من تا به ابد خوشحال می شوید، زیرا اورشلیم را هم سر از نو می سازم تا مردم در آنجا خوش و مسرور باشند.
18But be you glad and rejoice forever in that which I create; for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
18اورشلیم و باشندگان آن موجب خوشی من هم می گردند. در آنجا دیگر صدای گریه و آواز ناله شنیده نمی شود.
19I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people; and there shall be heard in her no more the voice of weeping and the voice of crying.
19کودکان، دیگر در طفلی نمی میرند، اشخاص صدساله جوان شمرده می شوند و فقط کسانی که گناه می کنند، به صدسالگی نمی رسند و مورد لعنت قرار می گیرند.
20“There shall be no more there an infant of days, nor an old man who has not filled his days; for the child shall die one hundred years old, and the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed.
20مردمی که خانه می سازند در آن سکونت می کنند و هر کسی که تاکستانی غرس نماید، میوۀ آنرا می خورد.
21They shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat their fruit.
21دیگر خانه ای که قوم برگزیدۀ من آباد می کند، جای سکونت بیگانگان نمی شود و چیزی را که می کارد، خوراک دشمنان نمی گردد. برگزیدگان من مانند درختان عمر طولانی می داشته باشند و از دستمزد خود بهرۀ فراوان می گیرند و لذت می برند.
22They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree shall be the days of my people, and my chosen shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
22زحمت آن ها عبث نمی شود و فرزندان شان روی مصیبت را نمی بینند، زیرا من به آن ها و همچنین به اولادۀ شان برکت می دهم.
23They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth for calamity; for they are the seed of the blessed of Yahweh, and their offspring with them.
23حتی قبل از آنکه لب به دعا بگشایند، من دعای شان را قبول می کنم و پیش از آنکه حرفی بزنند، من می دانم که چه می خواهند.گرگ و بره با هم می چرند و شیر مانند گاو، کاه می خورد. اما خوراک مار خاک می باشد و در کوه مقدس من به هیچ کسی ضرر و صدمه ای نمی رسد.»
24It shall happen that, before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
24گرگ و بره با هم می چرند و شیر مانند گاو، کاه می خورد. اما خوراک مار خاک می باشد و در کوه مقدس من به هیچ کسی ضرر و صدمه ای نمی رسد.»
25The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox; and dust shall be the serpent’s food. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain,” says Yahweh.
