¹Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹خداوند این هدایات را در مورد شخصی که از مرض جلدی شفا یافته است داد: «در همان روزی که او پاک اعلام شد، باید پیش کاهن برده شود.

²“This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing. He shall be brought to the priest,

²کاهن باید برای معاینۀ او از اردوگاه بیرون برود. هرگاه دید که او از مرض شفا یافته است،

³and the priest shall go forth out of the camp. The priest shall examine him, and behold, if the plague of leprosy is healed in the leper,

³امر بدهد که دو پرندۀ حلال، یک تکه چوب سرو، نخ سرخ و چند شاخۀ جارو بوته برای مراسم تطهیر بیاورد.

⁴then the priest shall command them to take for him who is to be cleansed two living clean birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop.

⁴بعد کاهن امر کند که یکی از پرندگان را در یک ظرف گِلی بر بالای آب روان بکشند.

⁵The priest shall command them to kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.

⁵آنگاه پرندۀ زنده، چوب سرو، نخ سرخ و شاخه های جارو بوته را گرفته در خون پرنده ای کشته شده غوطه کند.

⁶As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water.

⁶و کاهن خون آن را هفت بار بر شخصی که از مرض جلدی شفا یافته است بپاشد و او را شرعاً پاک اعلام نماید. بعد پرندۀ زنده را در صحرا آزاد کند.

⁷He shall sprinkle on him who is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird go into the open field.

⁷شخصی که شفا یافته است لباس خود را بشوید و موهای خود را بتراشد و در آب غسل کند، تا شرعاً پاک گردد. بعد از آن می تواند به اردوگاه داخل شود، اما برای هفت روز در بیرون خیمۀ خود بماند.

⁸“He who is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and bathe himself in water; and he shall be clean. After that he shall come into the camp, but shall dwell outside his tent seven days.

⁸در روز هفتم موهای سر، ریش، ابروان و تمام بدن خود را بتراشد، لباس خود را بشوید و در آب غسل کند، آنوقت شرعاً پاک می شود.

⁹It shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off. He shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his body in water, then he shall be clean.

⁹در روز هشتم باید دو برۀ نر، یک برۀ میش یکساله را که سالم و بی عیب باشند همراه با سه کیلو آرد اعلی مخلوط با روغن زیتون و یک سوم لیتر روغن زیتون، پیش کاهن بیاورد.

¹⁰“On the eighth day he shall take two male lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb a year old without blemish, and three tenths of an ephah 1 ephah is about 22 litres or about 2/3 of a bushel of fine flour for a meal offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.

¹⁰کاهنی که مراسم تطهیر را اجراء می کند آن شخص و هدیۀ او را به دَم دروازۀ خیمۀ عبادت بحضور خداوند بیاورد.

¹¹The priest who cleanses him shall set the man who is to be cleansed, and those things, before Yahweh, at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

¹¹کاهن یک برۀ نر را با روغن زیتون گرفته بعنوان قربانی جبران خطا در حضور خداوند تکان داده تقدیم نماید. این قربانی، هدیۀ مخصوصی است که به کاهن تعلق می گیرد.

¹²“The priest shall take one of the male lambs, and offer him for a trespass offering, with the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before Yahweh.

¹²بره را در جای مقدس که قربانی گناه و قربانی سوختنی را ذبح می کنند، بکشد، زیرا این قربانی بسیار مقدس است و مانند قربانی گناه، به کاهن تعلق دارد.

¹³He shall kill the male lamb in the place where they kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the place of the sanctuary; for as the sin offering is the priest’s, so is the trespass offering. It is most holy.

¹³بعد کاهن کمی از خون قربانی جبران گناه را گرفته به نرمی گوش، شست دست راست و شست پای راست او بمالد.

¹⁴The priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.

¹⁴سپس قدری از روغن زیتون را در کف دست چپ خود بریزد.

¹⁵The priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand.

¹⁵و انگشت دست راست خود را در آن فروبرده روغن را هفت مرتبه بحضور خداوند بپاشد.

¹⁶The priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle some of the oil with his finger seven times before Yahweh.

¹⁶بعد کمی از روغن کف دست خود را به نرمی گوش راست، شست دست راست و شست پای راست آن شخص بمالد.

¹⁷The priest shall put some of the rest of the oil that is in his hand on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering.

¹⁷باقیماندۀ روغن کف دست خود را بر سر او بمالد تا مراسم تطهیر اجراء شده گناه او در حضور خداوند کفاره شود.

¹⁸The rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, and the priest shall make atonement for him before Yahweh.

¹⁸آنگاه کاهن باید قربانی گناه را تقدیم کرده مراسم تطهیر را بجا آورد و سپس قربانی سوختنی را ذبح کند.

¹⁹“The priest shall offer the sin offering, and make atonement for him who is to be cleansed because of his uncleanness: and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering;

¹⁹بعد از آن کاهن باید قربانی سوختنی را با هدیۀ آردی بر قربانگاه تقدیم نماید. به این ترتیب کاهن برای گناه او کفاره می کند و آن شخص شرعاً پاک می شود.

²⁰and the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meal offering on the altar. The priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be clean.

²⁰اما اگر آن شخص نادار باشد و نتواند دو بره را قربانی کند، می تواند برای مراسم تطهیر خود تنها یک برۀ نر را جهت قربانی جبران خطا و یک کیلو آرد اعلی را که مخلوط با روغن زیتون باشد بعنوان هدیۀ آردی با یک سوم لیتر روغن زیتون بیاورد.

²¹“If he is poor, and can’t afford so much, then he shall take one male lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to make atonement for him, and one tenth of an ephah of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal offering, and a log of oil;

²¹همچنان دو قمری یا دو کبوتر جوانه ـ یکی را برای قربانی گناه و دیگری را جهت قربانی سوختنی بیاورد.

²²and two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to afford; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering.

²²و در روز هشتم آن ها را به دَم دروازۀ خیمۀ حضور خداوند پیش کاهن ببرد تا برای تطهیر او بحضور خداوند تقدیم کند.

²³“On the eighth day he shall bring them for his cleansing to the priest, to the door of the Tent of Meeting, before Yahweh.

²³کاهن بره و روغن زیتون را گرفته بعنوان قربانی جبران خطا بحضور خداوند تکان بدهد.

²⁴The priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before Yahweh.

²⁴بره را جهت قربانی جبران خطا ذبح کند و کمی از خون آن را گرفته به نرمی گوش راست، شَست دست راست و شَست پای راست آن شخص بمالد.

²⁵He shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering. The priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering and put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.

²⁵و قدری از آن خون را در کف دست چپ خود ریخته

²⁶The priest shall pour some of the oil into the palm of his own left hand;

²⁶با انگشت دست راست خود کمی از آن روغن زیتون را هفت مرتبه بحضور خداوند بپاشد.

²⁷and the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before Yahweh.

²⁷بعد کاهن قدری از روغن زیتون کف دست خود را گرفته به نرمی گوش راست، شَست دست راست و شَست پای راست آن شخص بمالد.

²⁸Then the priest shall put some of the oil that is in his hand on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, on the place of the blood of the trespass offering.

²⁸روغن باقیماندۀ کف دست خود را بر سر آن شخص بریزد و به این ترتیب مراسم تطهیر اجراء می شود.

²⁹The rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, to make atonement for him before Yahweh.

²⁹بعد دو قمری یا دو کبوتر جوانه را گرفته، یکی را برای قربانی گناه و دیگری را بعنوان قربانی سوختنی همراه با هدیۀ آردی بحضور خداوند تقدیم کند تا مراسم تطهیر بجا آورده شود و گناه آن شخص را کفاره کند.

³⁰He shall offer one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, such as he is able to afford,

³⁰این بود مقرراتی که باید برای تطهیر شخصی که از مرض جلدی شفا یافته است اجراء شود.»

³¹even such as he is able to afford, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meal offering. The priest shall make atonement for him who is to be cleansed before Yahweh.”

³¹خداوند این هدایات را به موسی و هارون در بارۀ خانه ای که در آن پوپنک پیدا شده باشد. این مقررات را خداوند بعد از آنکه قوم اسرائیل به سرزمین کنعان که آن را بعنوان ملکیت به آن ها بخشید وارد شدند، وضع کرد.

³²This is the law for him in whom is the plague of leprosy, who is not able to afford the sacrifice for his cleansing.

³²«اگر کسی متوجه شود که در خانه اش پوپنک بروز کرده است، باید پیش کاهن برود و او را آگاه سازد.

³³Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

³³پیش از آنکه کاهن برای معاینه داخل آن خانه شود باید امر کند که خانه را تخلیه نمایند تا چیزهائی که در آن خانه هستند نجس اعلام نشوند. بعد کاهن به داخل خانه برود

³⁴“When you have come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put a spreading mildew in a house in the land of your possession,

³⁴و آن را معاینه کند. اگر در دیوار خانه لکه های سبزرنگ یا سرخرنگ دیده شوند و عمیق تر از سطح دیوار باشند،

³⁵then he who owns the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, ‘There seems to me to be some sort of plague in the house.’

³⁵کاهن باید از آنجا خارج شود و دروازۀ خانه را برای هفت روز ببندد.

³⁶The priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest goes in to examine the plague, that all that is in the house not be made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to inspect the house.

³⁶در روز هفتم کاهن باید دوباره برای معاینه به آن خانه برود و اگر دید که لکه ها در دیوار نشر شده اند،

³⁷He shall examine the plague; and behold, if the plague is in the walls of the house with hollow streaks, greenish or reddish, and it appears to be deeper than the wall;

³⁷آنگاه امر کند که آن حصۀ دیوار را که دارای لکه است کنده سنگهای آن را گرفته در جای ناپاکی در خارج شهر بیندازند.

³⁸then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days.

³⁸سپس امر کند که دیوار های داخل خانه را بتراشند و خاک و گِل آن ها را در یک جای ناپاک در بیرون شهر بیندازند.

³⁹The priest shall come again on the seventh day, and look. If the plague has spread in the walls of the house,

³⁹بعد سنگهای دیگر را بجای سنگهای کنده شده قرار دهند و دیوار را دوباره ترمیم کنند.

⁴⁰then the priest shall command that they take out the stones in which is the plague, and cast them into an unclean place outside of the city:

⁴⁰اما اگر لکه ها بعد از آنکه دیوار دوباره ترمیم شد، باز نمایان گردیدند،

⁴¹and he shall cause the inside of the house to be scraped all over, and they shall pour out the mortar, that they scraped off, outside of the city into an unclean place.

⁴¹کاهن باید بار دیگر خانه را معاینه کند، اگر دید که لکه ها نشر کرده اند، پس آن خانه را پوپنک زده است و شرعاً نجس است.

⁴²They shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and he shall take other mortar, and shall plaster the house.

⁴²و آنوقت باید خانه را ویران کنند و تمام سنگ، چوب و خاک آنرا به خارج شهر برده در یک جای ناپاک بیندازند.

⁴³“If the plague comes again, and breaks out in the house, after he has taken out the stones, and after he has scraped the house, and after it was plastered;

⁴³علاوتاً، هنگامی که خانه بسته است، اگر کسی داخل آن شود، تا شام نجس خواهد بود.

⁴⁴then the priest shall come in and look; and behold, if the plague has spread in the house, it is a destructive mildew in the house. It is unclean.

⁴⁴و هر کسی که در آن خانه بخوابد و یا چیزی بخورد، باید لباس خود را بشوید.

⁴⁵He shall break down the house, its stones, and its timber, and all the house’s mortar. He shall carry them out of the city into an unclean place.

⁴⁵ولی بعد از آنکه دیوار خانه ترمیم شد و کاهن آنرا معاینه کرد و دید که لکه ها در دیوار نشر نکرده اند، خانه را شرعاً پاک اعلام کند، زیرا مرض برطرف شده است.

⁴⁶“Moreover he who goes into the house while it is shut up shall be unclean until the evening.

⁴⁶برای تطهیر خانه باید دو پرنده را همراه با چوب سرو و نخ سرخ و چند شاخۀ جارو بوته بیاورند.

⁴⁷He who lies down in the house shall wash his clothes; and he who eats in the house shall wash his clothes.

⁴⁷یکی از پرندگان را بالای آب روان بکشند

⁴⁸“If the priest shall come in, and examine it, and behold, the plague hasn’t spread in the house, after the house was plastered, then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.

⁴⁸بعد پرندۀ زنده را با چوب سرو، نخ سرخ و شاخه های جارو بوته گرفته در خون پرنده ای که بالای آب روان کشته شد، غوطه کند و هفت بار بر آن خانه بپاشد.

⁴⁹To cleanse the house he shall take two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop.

⁴⁹به این طریق آن خانه با خون پرنده، آب تازه، پرندۀ زنده، چوب سرو، شاخه های جارو بوته و تار سرخ طاهر می شود.

⁵⁰He shall kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.

⁵⁰سپس پرندۀ زنده را بیرون شهر برده در صحرا آزاد کند تا مراسم تطهیر بجا آورده شده آن خانه شرعاً پاک گردد.»

⁵¹He shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times.

⁵¹این بود مقررات مربوط به پوپنک که اگر در لباس، خانه و یا پوست بدن پیدا شود.این مقررات مشخص می سازد که چه وقت یک چیز نجس است و چه وقت پاک.

⁵²He shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, with the living bird, with the cedar wood, with the hyssop, and with the scarlet;

⁵²این مقررات مشخص می سازد که چه وقت یک چیز نجس است و چه وقت پاک.

⁵³but he shall let the living bird go out of the city into the open field. So shall he make atonement for the house; and it shall be clean.”

⁵⁴This is the law for any plague of leprosy, and for an itch,

⁵⁵and for the destructive mildew of a garment, and for a house,

⁵⁶and for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot;

⁵⁷to teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean. This is the law of leprosy.
