¹This is the Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things which must happen soon, which he sent and made known by his angel or, messenger (here and wherever angel is mentioned) to his servant, John,

¹این مکاشفه ای است که خدا به عیسی مسیح داده است تا آنچه که باید به زودی رخ دهد، به بندگانش نشان دهد. او فرشتۀ خود را به نزد بندۀ خویش یوحنا فرستاد،

²who testified to God’s word, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, about everything that he saw.

²تا این چیزها را به او نشان دهد. یوحنا با بیان آنچه شنیده و دیده است به حقانیت کلام خدا و شهادت عیسی مسیح گواهی می دهد.

³Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things that are written in it, for the time is at hand.

³خوشا به حال کسی که این را می خواند و کسانی که به کلمات این پیشگویی گوش می دهند و مطابق آنچه در آن نوشته شده است، عمل می کنند. زیرا وقت نزدیک است.

⁴John, to the seven assemblies that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace, from God, who is and who was and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits who are before his throne;

⁴از طرف یوحنا به هفت کلیسا که در ایالت آسیا هستند: فیض و سلامتی از جانب او که هست و بود و می آید بر شما باد، و از جانب هفت روح که در پیشگاه تخت پادشاهی او هستند.

⁵and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and washed us from our sins by his blood;

⁵و از جانب عیسی مسیح، آن شاهد امین، آن نخست زاده از مردگان و فرماندۀ پادشاهان زمین به شما فیض و سلامتی باد. او ما را دوست دارد و با خون خود ما را از گناهان ما آزاد گردانید.

⁶and he made us to be a Kingdom, priests Exodus 19:6; Isaiah 61:6 to his God and Father; to him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

⁶و ما را به سلطنت رسانید تا به عنوان کاهنان، خدا یعنی پدر او را خدمت کنیم. به او تا به ابد جلال و قدرت باد، آمین.

⁷Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, including those who pierced him. All the tribes of the earth will mourn over him. Even so, Amen.

⁷ببین او با ابر ها می آید! همه و از جمله آن کسانی که به او نیزه زدند، او را خواهند دید و همۀ اقوام دنیا به خاطر او سوگواری خواهند کرد. بلی، چنین خواهد شد! آمین.

⁸ “I am the Alpha and the Omega, TR adds “the Beginning and the End” ” says the Lord God, TR omits “God” “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

⁸خداوند، خدا می گوید: «من الف و یا هستم، خداوند قادر مطلق که بود و هست و آمدنی است.»

⁹I John, your brother and partner with you in oppression, Kingdom, and perseverance in Christ Jesus, was on the isle that is called Patmos because of God’s Word and the testimony of Jesus Christ.

⁹من یوحنا، برادر شما، که در پیوستگی با عیسی در رنج و در پادشاهی و در بردباری شریک شما هستم، به خاطر موعظۀ کلام خدا و شهادت به عیسی، در جزیره ای به نام پتموس مقیم بودم.

¹⁰I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, like a trumpet

¹⁰آن روز، روز خداوند بود و روح القدس مرا فراگرفت، در آن حال، از پشت سر خود صدای بلندی مثل صدای شیپور شنیدم

¹¹saying, “ TR adds “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last.” What you see, write in a book and send to the seven assemblies TR adds “which are in Asia” : to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”

¹¹که به من گفت: «آنچه را که می بینی در کتابی بنویس و به این هفت کلیسا، یعنی کلیساهای: اِفِسُس، اِسمیرنا، پِرگاموم، طیاتیرا، ساردِس، فیلادِلفیا، و لائودیکیه بفرست.»

¹²I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. Having turned, I saw seven golden lampstands.

¹²برگشتم تا ببینم کیست که با من سخن می گوید؛ و وقتی برگشتم، هفت چراغپایۀ زرین دیدم.

¹³And among the lampstands was one like a son of man, Daniel 7:13 clothed with a robe reaching down to his feet, and with a golden sash around his chest.

¹³در میان چراغپایه ها کسی شبیه «پسر انسان» را دیدم که ردای درازی بر تن داشت و شالی زرین به دور سینه اش بود.

¹⁴His head and his hair were white as white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire.

¹⁴موهای او مثل پشم یا برف سفید بود و چشمانش مثل آتش می درخشید

¹⁵His feet were like burnished brass, as if it had been refined in a furnace. His voice was like the voice of many waters.

¹⁵پاهایش مثل برنجی که در کوره گداخته و سپس شفاف شده باشد، درخشان بود و صدایش مانند صدای آبشار.

¹⁶He had seven stars in his right hand. Out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining at its brightest.

¹⁶او در دست راست خود هفت ستاره داشت و از دهانش شمشیری تیز و دو دَم بیرون می آمد و چهره اش مانند آفتاب نیمروز می درخشید.

¹⁷When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man. He laid his right hand on me, saying, “Don’t be afraid. I am the first and the last,

¹⁷وقتی او را دیدم مثل مُرده پیش پای او افتادم، اما او دست راست خود را بر من گذاشت و گفت: «نترس، من اول و آخر هستم.

¹⁸ and the Living one. I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. I have the keys of Death and of Hades or, Hell .

¹⁸من زنده بودم و مُردم و اکنون تا به ابد زنده هستم و کلیدهای مرگ و عالم مردگان را در دست دارم.

¹⁹ Write therefore the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will happen hereafter;

¹⁹آنچه را می بینی بنویس، آنچه که اکنون هست و بعد از این واقع می شود.مفهوم و مقصود آن هفت ستاره ای که در دست راست من دیدی و آن هفت چراغپایۀ زرین این است. آن هفت ستاره، فرشتگان هفت کلیسا و آن هفت چراغپایه، هفت کلیسا می باشند.

²⁰ the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands. The seven stars are the angels or, messengers (here and wherever angels are mentioned) of the seven assemblies. The seven lampstands are seven assemblies.

²⁰مفهوم و مقصود آن هفت ستاره ای که در دست راست من دیدی و آن هفت چراغپایۀ زرین این است. آن هفت ستاره، فرشتگان هفت کلیسا و آن هفت چراغپایه، هفت کلیسا می باشند.
