1The word of Yahweh of Armies came to me.
1بار دیگر کلام خداوند قادر مطلق بر من نازل شد.
2Thus says Yahweh of Armies: “I am jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I am jealous for her with great wrath.”
2خداوند قادر مطلق چنین می فرماید: «برای سهیون غیرت عظیمی دارم و با غضب سخت برایش غیور هستم.
3Thus says Yahweh: “I have returned to Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called ‘The City of Truth;’ and the mountain of Yahweh of Armies, ‘The Holy Mountain.’”
3حالا به سهیون بر می گردم و در اورشلیم سکونت اختیار می کنم. اورشلیم «شهر وفادار» و کوه خداوند قادر مطلق «کوه مقدس» نامیده می شود.»
4Thus says Yahweh of Armies: “Old men and old women will again dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, every man with his staff in his hand for very age.
4خداوند قادر مطلق چنین می فرماید: «بار دیگر مردان و زنان سالخورده به علت پیری عصا در دست در جاده ها قدم می زنند و در میدانهای شهر می نشینند.
5The streets of the city will be full of boys and girls playing in its streets.”
5کوچه های شهر از پسران و دخترانی که سرگرم بازی هستند، پُر می شوند.»
6Thus says Yahweh of Armies: “If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in those days, should it also be marvelous in my eyes?” says Yahweh of Armies.
6خداوند قادر مطلق چنین می فرماید: «این کار شاید برای بازماندگان قوم غیر ممکن باشد، اما برای من خیلی آسان است.
7Thus says Yahweh of Armies: “Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country;
7من قوم برگزیدۀ خود را از شرق و غرب نجات می دهم
8and I will bring them, and they will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; and they will be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.”
8و به اورشلیم می آورم تا در آنجا ساکن شوند. آن ها قوم برگزیدۀ من خواهند بود و من خدای شان خواهم بود و با راستی و عدالت بر آن ها حکومت می کنم.»
9Thus says Yahweh of Armies: “Let your hands be strong, you who hear in these days these words from the mouth of the prophets who were in the day that the foundation of the house of Yahweh of Armies was laid, even the temple, that it might be built.
9خداوند قادر مطلق چنین می فرماید: «با شوق و دستان قوی شروع به کار کنید، زیرا شما همان سخنان تشویق کننده را می شنوید که انبیاء هنگام تهداب گذاری عبادتگاه به شما گفته بودند.
10For before those days there was no wages for man, nor any wages for an animal; neither was there any peace to him who went out or came in, because of the adversary. For I set all men everyone against his neighbor.
10قبل از آن، کسی توان آن را نداشت که انسان یا حیوانی را برای کار خود اجیر کند. هیچ کسی از دست دشمنان در امن نبود. خودم مردم را دشمن یکدیگر ساخته بودم.»
11But now I will not be to the remnant of this people as in the former days,” says Yahweh of Armies.
11خداوند قادر مطلق می فرماید: «اما حالا رفتار من با بازماندگان قوم تفاوت دارد.
12“For the seed of peace and the vine will yield its fruit, and the ground will give its increase, and the heavens will give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to inherit all these things.
12بعد از این در همه جا صلح و آرامش برقرار بوده، تاکها انگور بار می آورند، زمین محصول زیاد می دهد، از آسمان بارانِ فراوان می بارد و من بازماندگان قوم را از هرگونه نعمت برخوردار می سازم.
13It shall come to pass that, as you were a curse among the nations, house of Judah and house of Israel, so will I save you, and you shall be a blessing. Don’t be afraid. Let your hands be strong.”
13ای مردم یهودا و اسرائیل! در گذشته وقتی اقوام بیگانه کسی را نفرین می کردند، می گفتند: «تو هم مثل مردم یهودا و اسرائیل در بلا گرفتار شوی!» ولی حالا آنطور نیست؛ من شما را نجات می دهم و از برکات خود مستفید می سازم. از این ببعد همان مردم می گویند: «مانند مردم یهودا و اسرائیل برکت ببینی!» پس نترسید و قوی دل باشید.»
14For thus says Yahweh of Armies: “As I thought to do evil to you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath,” says Yahweh of Armies, “and I didn’t repent;
14خداوند قادر مطلق چنین می فرماید: «وقتی اجداد شما مرا به خشم آوردند، قصد کردم که بلائی را بر سر شان بیاورم و همان کار را هم انجام دادم.
15so again have I thought in these days to do good to Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. Don’t be afraid.
15حالا ای مردم یهودا و اسرائیل نترسید، زیرا می خواهم شما را برکت بدهم.
16These are the things that you shall do: speak every man the truth with his neighbor. Execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates,
16کارهائی که شما باید بکنید اینست: به یکدیگر صادق و راستگو باشید. در محاکم از عدالت کار بگیرید و صلح و امنیت را برقرار سازید.
17and let none of you devise evil in your hearts against his neighbor, and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate,” says Yahweh.
17به دیگران آزار نرسانید و قسم دروغ نخورید، زیرا من از این کارها نفرت دارم.»
18The word of Yahweh of Armies came to me.
18کلام خداوند قادر مطلق بر من نازل شد:
19Thus says Yahweh of Armies: “The fasts of the fourth fifth, seventh, and tenth months shall be for the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts. Therefore love truth and peace.”
19خداوند قادر مطلق چنین می فرماید: «روزۀ ماههای چهارم، پنجم، هفتم و دهم و ایام سوگواری برای مردم یهودا و اسرائیل به جشنها و روزهای عیش و خوشی تبدیل می شوند. شما راستی و سلامتی را دوست بدارید.»
20Thus says Yahweh of Armies: “Many peoples, and the inhabitants of many cities will yet come;
20خداوند قادر مطلق چنین می فرماید: «مردم از همه جا به اورشلیم رو می آورند
21and the inhabitants of one shall go to another, saying, ‘Let us go speedily to entreat the favor of Yahweh, and to seek Yahweh of Armies. I will go also.’
21و مردمِ یک شهر به شهر دیگر رفته می گویند: «ما برای پرستش خداوند قادر مطلق می رویم شما هم با ما بیائید تا به درگاه او دعا کنیم که به ما برکت عطا فرماید.»
22Yes, many peoples and strong nations will come to seek Yahweh of Armies in Jerusalem, and to entreat the favor of Yahweh.”
22مردم زیادی از کشورهای بزرگ به اورشلیم برای دعا می آیند و از خداوند طلبِ برکت می کنند.در آن روزها ده نفر از مردمان بیگانه دست به دامن یک نفر یهودی انداخته می گویند: ما را هم با خود ببر، زیرا می دانیم که خدا با تو است.»
23Thus says Yahweh of Armies: “In those days, ten men will take hold, out of all the languages of the nations, they will take hold of the skirt of him who is a Jew, saying, ‘We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’”
23در آن روزها ده نفر از مردمان بیگانه دست به دامن یک نفر یهودی انداخته می گویند: ما را هم با خود ببر، زیرا می دانیم که خدا با تو است.»
