¹Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹Herra sanoi Moosekselle:

²“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘The set feasts of Yahweh, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my set feasts.

²"Sano israelilaisille: Nämä ovat Herralle omistetut juhla-ajat, minun juhla-aikani, jolloin teidän tulee kutsua kansa koolle pyhään kokoukseen.

³“‘Six days shall work be done: but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation; you shall do no kind of work. It is a Sabbath to Yahweh in all your dwellings.

³"Kuutena päivänä viikossa tehtäköön työtä, mutta seitsemäs päivä on sapatti, lepopäivä, pyhä kokouspäivä. Silloin ette saa tehdä mitään työtä, sillä sen päivän tulee olla Herran sapatti, missä sitten asuttekin.

⁴“‘These are the set feasts of Yahweh, even holy convocations, which you shall proclaim in their appointed season.

⁴"Nämä ovat Herralle omistetut pyhät juhlat, joita teidän tulee kokoontua viettämään määräaikaan:

⁵In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month in the evening, is Yahweh’s Passover.

⁵Ensimmäisen kuun neljäntenätoista päivänä iltahämärissä on Herran pääsiäinen,

⁶On the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread to Yahweh. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread.

⁶ja saman kuun viidentenätoista päivänä on Herralle pyhitetty happamattoman leivän juhla. Seitsemän päivän ajan saatte syödä vain happamatonta leipää.

⁷In the first day you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no regular work.

⁷Pitäkää tämän juhlan ensimmäisenä päivänä pyhä juhlakokous. Sinä päivänä ette saa tehdä mitään työtä.

⁸But you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh seven days. In the seventh day is a holy convocation: you shall do no regular work.’”

⁸Näinä seitsemänä päivänä teidän on joka päivä tuotava Herralle tuliuhri. Myös seitsemäntenä päivänä pidettäköön pyhä juhlakokous; silloinkaan ette saa tehdä mitään työtä."

⁹Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

⁹Herra sanoi Moosekselle:

¹⁰“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When you have come into the land which I give to you, and shall reap its the harvest, then you shall bring the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest:

¹⁰"Sano israelilaisille: Kun tulette siihen maahan, jonka minä teille annan, ja kun leikkaatte siellä viljaa, tuokaa ensimmäiset tähkät papille.

¹¹and he shall wave the sheaf before Yahweh, to be accepted for you. On the next day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.

¹¹Sapatin jälkeisenä päivänä pappi omistakoon ne Herralle tarjousuhrina, että Herra olisi teille suosiollinen.

¹²On the day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a male lamb without blemish a year old for a burnt offering to Yahweh.

¹²Sinä päivänä, jona pappi omistaa ensimmäiset tähkät tarjousuhrina Herralle, teidän on uhrattava vuoden ikäinen virheetön karitsa polttouhrina

¹³The meal offering with it shall be two tenth parts of an ephah 1 ephah is about 22 litres or about 2/3 of a bushel of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire to Yahweh for a pleasant aroma; and the drink offering with it shall be of wine, the fourth part of a hin.

¹³ja sen lisäksi ruokauhrina kaksi eefa-mitan kymmenesosaa öljyllä kostutettuja parhaita vehnäjauhoja tuoksuvaksi tuliuhriksi, joka on Herralle mieluisa, sekä siihen kuuluvana juomauhrina neljännes hin-mittaa viiniä.

¹⁴You shall eat neither bread, nor roasted grain, nor fresh grain, until this same day, until you have brought the offering of your God. This is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

¹⁴Älkää syökö leipää, paahdettuja jyviä älkääkä vastakypsynyttä viljaa ennen sitä päivää, jona tuotte niistä uhrilahjan Jumalallenne. Tätä määräystä teidän on noudatettava aina, sukupolvesta toiseen, missä sitten asuttekin.

¹⁵“‘You shall count from the next day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be completed:

¹⁵"Laskekaa seitsemän täyttä viikkoa sen sapatin jälkeisestä päivästä, jolloin toitte satonne ensimmäiset tähkät omistettaviksi Herralle,

¹⁶even to the next day after the seventh Sabbath you shall number fifty days; and you shall offer a new meal offering to Yahweh.

¹⁶ja tuokaa seitsemännen sapatin jälkeisenä eli viidentenäkymmenentenä päivänä Herralle ruokauhri uudesta sadosta.

¹⁷You shall bring out of your habitations two loaves of bread for a wave offering made of two tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour. They shall be baked with yeast, for first fruits to Yahweh.

¹⁷Tuokaa silloin kukin asuinpaikaltanne Herralle tarjousuhriksi kaksi hapanleipää, jotka on leivottu kahdesta eefa-mitan kymmenesosasta parhaita vehnäjauhoja. Ne ovat Herralle kuuluva lahja uutissadosta.

¹⁸You shall present with the bread seven lambs without blemish a year old, one young bull, and two rams. They shall be a burnt offering to Yahweh, with their meal offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of a sweet aroma to Yahweh.

¹⁸Leipien ohella tuokaa Herralle polttouhriksi seitsemän virheetöntä vuoden vanhaa karitsaa, nuori sonni ja kaksi pässiä sekä niiden mukana annettavat ruoka- ja juomauhrit. Tämä on tuoksuva tuliuhri, joka on Herralle mieluisa.

¹⁹You shall offer one male goat for a sin offering, and two male lambs a year old for a sacrifice of peace offerings.

¹⁹Uhratkaa lisäksi vuohipukki syntiuhrina ja kaksi vuoden vanhaa karitsaa yhteysuhrina.

²⁰The priest shall wave them with the bread of the first fruits for a wave offering before Yahweh, with the two lambs. They shall be holy to Yahweh for the priest.

²⁰Pappi omistakoon uutisleivät ja molemmat karitsat tarjousuhrina Herralle. Ne ovat Herralle pyhitetyt ja kuuluvat papille.

²¹You shall make proclamation on the same day: there shall be a holy convocation to you; you shall do no regular work. This is a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

²¹Kokoontukaa samana päivänä pyhään juhlakokoukseen älkääkä sinä päivänä tehkö mitään työtä. Tätä määräystä teidän on aina noudatettava, sukupolvesta toiseen, missä sitten asuttekin.

²²“‘When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not wholly reap into the corners of your field, neither shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest: you shall leave them for the poor, and for the foreigner. I am Yahweh your God.’”

²²"Kun korjaat maassasi satoa, älä leikkaa pelloiltasi viljaa reunoja myöten äläkä korjaa maahan pudonneita tähkiä leikkuun jälkeen. Jätä ne köyhiä ja muukalaisia varten. Minä olen Herra, teidän Jumalanne."

²³Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

²³Herra sanoi Moosekselle:

²⁴“Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, shall be a solemn rest to you, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.

²⁴"Sano israelilaisille: Pitäkää seitsemännen kuun ensimmäisenä päivänä lepopäivä. Antakaa silloin merkki puhaltamalla torveen ja kokoontukaa pyhään juhlaan.

²⁵You shall do no regular work; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh.’”

²⁵Älkää tehkö sinä päivänä mitään työtä, vaan uhratkaa Herralle tuliuhri."

²⁶Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

²⁶Herra sanoi Moosekselle:

²⁷“However on the tenth day of this seventh month is the day of atonement: it shall be a holy convocation to you, and you shall afflict yourselves; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

²⁷"Saman seitsemännen kuun kymmenentenä päivänä on sovituspäivä. Kokoontukaa silloin pyhään juhlakokoukseen, paastotkaa ja uhratkaa Herralle tuliuhri.

²⁸You shall do no kind of work in that same day; for it is a day of atonement, to make atonement for you before Yahweh your God.

²⁸Sinä päivänä ette saa tehdä mitään työtä; se on sovituspäivä, jolloin toimitetaan teidän syntienne sovitus Herran, teidän Jumalanne edessä.

²⁹For whoever it is who shall not deny himself in that same day; shall be cut off from his people.

²⁹Jos joku ei sinä päivänä paastoa, hänet on poistettava kansansa keskuudesta.

³⁰Whoever it is who does any kind of work in that same day, that person I will destroy from among his people.

³⁰Minä hävitän kansansa keskuudesta myös jokaisen, joka sinä päivänä tekee jotakin työtä.

³¹You shall do no kind of work: it is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

³¹Älkää siis tehkö silloin minkäänlaista työtä. Tätä määräystä teidän on noudatettava aina, sukupolvesta toiseen, missä sitten asuttekin.

³²It shall be a Sabbath of solemn rest for you, and you shall deny yourselves. In the ninth day of the month at evening, from evening to evening, you shall keep your Sabbath.”

³²Sovituspäivä on teille lepopäivä, ja teidän on silloin paastottava. Yhdeksännen päivän illasta seuraavaan iltaan saakka teidän tulee viettää täydellistä sapatinlepoa."

³³Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

³³Herra sanoi Moosekselle:

³⁴“Speak to the children of Israel, and say, ‘On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the feast of tents for seven days to Yahweh.

³⁴"Sano israelilaisille: Saman seitsemännen kuun viidentenätoista päivänä alkaa Herralle pyhitetty seitsenpäiväinen lehtimajanjuhla.

³⁵On the first day shall be a holy convocation: you shall do no regular work.

³⁵Juhlan ensimmäisenä päivänä on pyhä kokous; sinä päivänä ette saa tehdä mitään työtä.

³⁶Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh. On the eighth day shall be a holy convocation to you; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh. It is a solemn assembly; you shall do no regular work.

³⁶Seitsemänä päivänä teidän on uhrattava Herralle tuliuhri. Kahdeksas päivä on erityinen juhlapäivä; uhratkaa silloin Herralle tuliuhri ja pitäkää pyhä kokous. Sinä päivänä te ette saa tehdä mitään työtä.

³⁷“‘These are the appointed feasts of Yahweh, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh, a burnt offering, and a meal offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, each on its own day;

³⁷"Nämä ovat Herralle omistetut juhla-ajat, joina teidän tulee kutsua kansa koolle pyhiin kokouksiin ja uhrata Herralle tuliuhreja samoin kuin polttouhreja, ruokauhreja, teurasuhreja ja juomauhreja, jokainen uhri oikeana päivänään.

³⁸besides the Sabbaths of Yahweh, and besides your gifts, and besides all your vows, and besides all your freewill offerings, which you give to Yahweh.

³⁸Näiden lisäksi tulevat Herralle pyhitetyt sapattipäivät ja teidän lupausuhrinne, vapaaehtoiset lahjanne ja muut tuomisenne, jotka annatte Herralle.

³⁹“‘So on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruits of the land, you shall keep the feast of Yahweh seven days: on the first day shall be a solemn rest, and on the eighth day shall be a solemn rest.

³⁹"Seitsemännen kuun viidentenätoista päivänä, kun olette korjanneet sadon talteen, ryhtykää viettämään seitsenpäiväistä Herran juhlaa. Juhlan ensimmäinen päivä on lepopäivä, samoin kahdeksas päivä.

⁴⁰You shall take on the first day the fruit of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before Yahweh your God seven days.

⁴⁰Kootkaa ensimmäisenä päivänä hedelmäpuiden parhaita hedelmiä, palmunlehviä ja puiden lehteviä oksia sekä pajuja purojen varsilta ja viettäkää iloista juhlaa seitsemän päivän ajan Herran, Jumalanne edessä.

⁴¹You shall keep it a feast to Yahweh seven days in the year: it is a statute forever throughout your generations; you shall keep it in the seventh month.

⁴¹Tätä juhlaa teidän tulee viettää Herran kunniaksi seitsemän päivää joka vuosi. Teidän on sukupolvesta toiseen aina noudatettava tätä määräystä: seitsemännessä kuussa on vietettävä lehtimajanjuhlaa.

⁴²You shall dwell in booths seven days. All who are native-born in Israel shall dwell in booths,

⁴²Kaikkien israelilaisten tulee silloin asua lehtimajoissa seitsemän päivää,

⁴³that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God.’”

⁴³jotta tulevatkin sukupolvet muistaisivat, että minä annoin israelilaisten asua lehtimajoissa, kun toin heidät pois Egyptistä. Minä olen Herra, teidän Jumalanne."

⁴⁴Moses declared to the children of Israel the appointed feasts of Yahweh.

⁴⁴Näin Mooses ilmoitti israelilaisille Herran juhla- ajat.
