¹Of the blue, purple, and scarlet, they made finely worked garments, for ministering in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as Yahweh commanded Moses.

¹ומן התכלת והארגמן ותולעת השני עשו בגדי שרד לשרת בקדש ויעשו את בגדי הקדש אשר לאהרן כאשר צוה יהוה את משה׃

²He made the ephod of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen.

²ויעש את האפד זהב תכלת וארגמן ותולעת שני ושש משזר׃

³They beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it into wires, to work it in the blue, in the purple, in the scarlet, and in the fine linen, the work of the skillful workman.

³וירקעו את פחי הזהב וקצץ פתילם לעשות בתוך התכלת ובתוך הארגמן ובתוך תולעת השני ובתוך השש מעשה חשב׃

⁴They made shoulder straps for it, joined together. At the two ends it was joined together.

⁴כתפת עשו לו חברת על שני קצוותו חבר׃

⁵The skillfully woven band that was on it, with which to fasten it on, was of the same piece, like its work; of gold, of blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen; as Yahweh commanded Moses.

⁵וחשב אפדתו אשר עליו ממנו הוא כמעשהו זהב תכלת וארגמן ותולעת שני ושש משזר כאשר צוה יהוה את משה׃

⁶They worked the onyx stones, enclosed in settings of gold, engraved with the engravings of a signet, according to the names of the children of Israel.

⁶ויעשו את אבני השהם מסבת משבצת זהב מפתחת פתוחי חותם על שמות בני ישראל׃

⁷He put them on the shoulder straps of the ephod, to be stones of memorial for the children of Israel, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

⁷וישם אתם על כתפת האפד אבני זכרון לבני ישראל כאשר צוה יהוה את משה׃

⁸He made the breastplate, the work of a skillful workman, like the work of the ephod; of gold, of blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen.

⁸ויעש את החשן מעשה חשב כמעשה אפד זהב תכלת וארגמן ותולעת שני ושש משזר׃

⁹It was square. They made the breastplate double. Its length was a span, and its breadth a span, being double.

⁹רבוע היה כפול עשו את החשן זרת ארכו וזרת רחבו כפול׃

¹⁰They set in it four rows of stones. A row of ruby, topaz, and beryl was the first row;

¹⁰וימלאו בו ארבעה טורי אבן טור אדם פטדה וברקת הטור האחד׃

¹¹and the second row, a turquoise, a sapphire or, lapis lazuli , and an emerald;

¹¹והטור השני נפך ספיר ויהלם׃

¹²and the third row, a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;

¹²והטור השלישי לשם שבו ואחלמה׃

¹³and the fourth row, a chrysolite, an onyx, and a jasper. They were enclosed in gold settings.

¹³והטור הרביעי תרשיש שהם וישפה מוסבת משבצות זהב במלאתם׃

¹⁴The stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names; like the engravings of a signet, everyone according to his name, for the twelve tribes.

¹⁴והאבנים על שמת בני ישראל הנה שתים עשרה על שמתם פתוחי חתם איש על שמו לשנים עשר שבט׃

¹⁵They made on the breastplate chains like cords, of braided work of pure gold.

¹⁵ויעשו על החשן שרשרת גבלת מעשה עבת זהב טהור׃

¹⁶They made two settings of gold, and two gold rings, and put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.

¹⁶ויעשו שתי משבצת זהב ושתי טבעת זהב ויתנו את שתי הטבעת על שני קצות החשן׃

¹⁷They put the two braided chains of gold in the two rings at the ends of the breastplate.

¹⁷ויתנו שתי העבתת הזהב על שתי הטבעת על קצות החשן׃

¹⁸The other two ends of the two braided chains they put on the two settings, and put them on the shoulder straps of the ephod, in its front.

¹⁸ואת שתי קצות שתי העבתת נתנו על שתי המשבצת ויתנם על כתפת האפד אל מול פניו׃

¹⁹They made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on its edge, which was toward the side of the ephod inward.

¹⁹ויעשו שתי טבעת זהב וישימו על שני קצות החשן על שפתו אשר אל עבר האפד ביתה׃

²⁰They made two rings of gold, and put them on the two shoulder straps of the ephod underneath, in its front, close by its coupling, above the skillfully woven band of the ephod.

²⁰ויעשו שתי טבעת זהב ויתנם על שתי כתפת האפד מלמטה ממול פניו לעמת מחברתו ממעל לחשב האפד׃

²¹They bound the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be on the skillfully woven band of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not come loose from the ephod, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

²¹וירכסו את החשן מטבעתיו אל טבעת האפד בפתיל תכלת להית על חשב האפד ולא יזח החשן מעל האפד כאשר צוה יהוה את משה׃

²²He made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue.

²²ויעש את מעיל האפד מעשה ארג כליל תכלת׃

²³The opening of the robe in its midst was like the opening of a coat of mail, with a binding around its opening, that it should not be torn.

²³ופי המעיל בתוכו כפי תחרא שפה לפיו סביב לא יקרע׃

²⁴They made on the skirts of the robe pomegranates of blue, purple, scarlet, and twined linen.

²⁴ויעשו על שולי המעיל רמוני תכלת וארגמן ותולעת שני משזר׃

²⁵They made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates around the skirts of the robe, between the pomegranates;

²⁵ויעשו פעמני זהב טהור ויתנו את הפעמנים בתוך הרמנים על שולי המעיל סביב בתוך הרמנים׃

²⁶a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, around the skirts of the robe, to minister in, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

²⁶פעמן ורמן פעמן ורמן על שולי המעיל סביב לשרת כאשר צוה יהוה את משה׃

²⁷They made the coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron, and for his sons,

²⁷ויעשו את הכתנת שש מעשה ארג לאהרן ולבניו׃

²⁸and the turban of fine linen, and the linen headbands of fine linen, and the linen breeches of fine twined linen,

²⁸ואת המצנפת שש ואת פארי המגבעת שש ואת מכנסי הבד שש משזר׃

²⁹and the sash of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, the work of the embroiderer, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

²⁹ואת האבנט שש משזר ותכלת וארגמן ותולעת שני מעשה רקם כאשר צוה יהוה את משה׃

³⁰They made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote on it a writing, like the engravings of a signet: “HOLY TO YAHWEH.”

³⁰ויעשו את ציץ נזר הקדש זהב טהור ויכתבו עליו מכתב פתוחי חותם קדש ליהוה׃

³¹They tied to it a lace of blue, to fasten it on the turban above, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

³¹ויתנו עליו פתיל תכלת לתת על המצנפת מלמעלה כאשר צוה יהוה את משה׃

³²Thus all the work of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting was finished. The children of Israel did according to all that Yahweh commanded Moses; so they did.

³²ותכל כל עבדת משכן אהל מועד ויעשו בני ישראל ככל אשר צוה יהוה את משה כן עשו׃

³³They brought the tabernacle to Moses, the tent, with all its furniture, its clasps, its boards, its bars, its pillars, its sockets,

³³ויביאו את המשכן אל משה את האהל ואת כל כליו קרסיו קרשיו בריחו ועמדיו ואדניו׃

³⁴the covering of rams’ skins dyed red, the covering of sea cow hides, the veil of the screen,

³⁴ואת מכסה עורת האילם המאדמים ואת מכסה ערת התחשים ואת פרכת המסך׃

³⁵the ark of the testimony with its poles, the mercy seat,

³⁵את ארן העדת ואת בדיו ואת הכפרת׃

³⁶the table, all its vessels, the show bread,

³⁶את השלחן את כל כליו ואת לחם הפנים׃

³⁷the pure lampstand, its lamps, even the lamps to be set in order, all its vessels, the oil for the light,

³⁷את המנרה הטהרה את נרתיה נרת המערכה ואת כל כליה ואת שמן המאור׃

³⁸the golden altar, the anointing oil, the sweet incense, the screen for the door of the Tent,

³⁸ואת מזבח הזהב ואת שמן המשחה ואת קטרת הסמים ואת מסך פתח האהל׃

³⁹the bronze altar, its grating of brass, its poles, all of its vessels, the basin and its base,

³⁹את מזבח הנחשת ואת מכבר הנחשת אשר לו את בדיו ואת כל כליו את הכיר ואת כנו׃

⁴⁰the hangings of the court, its pillars, its sockets, the screen for the gate of the court, its cords, its pins, all the instruments of the service of the tabernacle, for the Tent of Meeting,

⁴⁰את קלעי החצר את עמדיה ואת אדניה ואת המסך לשער החצר את מיתריו ויתדתיה ואת כל כלי עבדת המשכן לאהל מועד׃

⁴¹the finely worked garments for ministering in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest’s office.

⁴¹את בגדי השרד לשרת בקדש את בגדי הקדש לאהרן הכהן ואת בגדי בניו לכהן׃

⁴²According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did all the work.

⁴²ככל אשר צוה יהוה את משה כן עשו בני ישראל את כל העבדה׃

⁴³Moses saw all the work, and behold, they had done it as Yahweh had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

⁴³וירא משה את כל המלאכה והנה עשו אתה כאשר צוה יהוה כן עשו ויברך אתם משה׃
